On several occasions my speedometer has jumped back to zero. And when I hit the up arrow plus Z all the information abour height, frame rate etc works normally exept the speed which shows zero.It's just happened again while flying the Cessna C172SP Skyhawk.Is this a problem that can be overcome?Cliff

As 2004 draws to a close we see the 'The 767 Pilot in Command Support Forum' has followed it's fellow support forum (PSS) in becoming a land where the traditioanl 'happy' smiley will be the only icon displayed in a post and anything remotely contraversial is simply deleted before it appears. I guess the makers of the LDS757 should spend more time creating the aircraft instead of examining posts for favourable content.I expect this will be my final post and it will not last long for two resaons (at least):1. I searched for this topic before I posted the question. I remember reading about this a long time ago, but I can't recall the solution.The rudder on almost all of my add on planes twitches, or sort of flaps in the wind, when the plane is setting still, or very close to still. I have the lastest registered version of FSUIPC and I have the Rudder spike elimination on. I have a Logitech Wingman USB Force Feedback Joystick, and a set of CH pedels and CH Yoke (USB). I do not leave them connected at the same time. The problem manifest with both control setups.Can someone help me out of the tail jitters?Dennis Mitchell

I think, this may of been asked..anyway, on the big planes like 777, 744 and A330/340, you can actually print out things from the FMC to hard copy. Can this actually be dont in Flightsim? ie the developers make the option and can be sent to your printer?thanks

I know where to find free approach plates... It's just that I am trying to find a site I used to visit that would allow you to download all the charts you wanted as a package, lots of files in one simple zip download. Any idea of the URL I am looking for?

I know this problem has been posted in this forum previously yet I could not find any definitive solution. The problem seems to have started yesterday out of nowhere. If I open the kneeboard and then click anywhere inside it with my mouse, FS2004 will immediately go to a black screen and then crash followed by the usual Microsoft error report. I have tried deleting the FS9.CFG file. I have tried deleteing other CFG files. I have uninstalled and re-installed FS2004. I have removed my video drivers and re-installed them. I don't have the application Robofarm or Windowsblinds. I don't know what to try anymore. I really would like to avoid having to re-install Windows XP. Can…

Major performance degradation after new HDD, XP install and SP2...Before my hdd failed, I was running a solid 32 fps at my cywg airport scenery with 100% AI (PAI) and Chris's low fps clouds.After the new hdd, xp installation my fps will not exceed 18-19 in certain views that were always 32fps.I have loaded all the same drivers and have all the same settings in FS.This is a real disappointment.Wondering if anyone could make some suggestions.BTW, I did not have SP2 installed prior to the new hdd.Thanks very much in advance.Adam

I'm flying an adventure in a snowstorm. I've used this same flight in FS2002 and everything looked correct. However, IN FS9, the snow changes from falling straight down to whipping by the window, continuously, back and forth (at 170 IAS). I tried recording 2 videos, to show you what I meant (one FS9, one with FRAPS). Now here's a "strange" thing...while recording a video with FS9 or FRAPS the snow behaves normally. As soon as I stop the recording ( especially noticeable with FRAPS and the "Hotkey" to stop recording) the snow goes back to it's strange, vertical, horizontal behavior. I would imagine at that speed it should be horizontal?? Anyone have a clue why this is happ…

O.K. so where does this go, for sure. The original install says it should be unzipped into the main scenery folder for FS20002002 and I assume the same applies for FS9. But I've noticed other addon scenery says to be sure that you have Trees_0.bgl in your FS9sceneryworldscenery folder and others have said to make sure it's in FS9scenerybasescenery.So which is it? Another thread started a few days ago about 4 engine prop planes and as I was reading some of the posts, I recalled how about 10 years ago I had the FS that was current at the time with a few 4 engine props that I had downloaded. I liked these planes because when I started flying in the military in the late 50's, that is what we flew on. I decided to try and see how these planes handled in FS9, so I downloaded the Constellation on the FZdzigns web site http://fsdzigns.com/ . Hi,Anyone know of any complete AI packages for major Russian airlines?I've checked here and at ProjectAI, but there are a few small flight-plans, ILS additions, and one decent (though limited) Aeroflot pack. Most seem to be lists of planes, and plans, but no details as to where to obtain the aircraft and the paints needed!it seems like Russia, and much of the former Soviet Union has been 'ignored' in FS9 which is a shame seeing as the Russian skies and airports are filled with fascinating 'alternatives' to the usual Boeing and Airbus aircraft, which are now of course, becoming more common-place in global airports too....Thanks :)

Ok, So my other card is a 9800 Pro- not too shabby. But I figured what the hell, I wanted to see what this new card could do. At least it would let me turn up the AA with no frame hit right?So I uninstalled the 9800 pro, and stuck the card it. Upon reboot, i download the latest official Nvidia drivers.I fired up FS2004, and noticed a few frames less than my 9800.hmmm, can't be right- I checked the card settings- tuned it for performance-yep, still slow. So I decided to let 3D Mark 2001 see if I was going crazy. Nope! Down to 15,000 3D marks.So I found that Radlinker was still installed- removed that. I appear to be missing the spinning prop textures for my FSD Seneca repaints. It appears as a rotating rectangle(see my pic). Yes, I've tried the company forum, but cannot seem to get it to work for me (cannot log on and nobody is returning my E-mails) and yes the relevant textures (propcircle.bmp)are installed in each of the texture folders. I downloaded and tried installing Lennart's new textures for FS2004. I had some trouble understanding just what the instructions were trying to tell me and I think I didn't do it correctly. I really don't see anything different now. I'm anxious to see them since I have used his textures in the past and they were really great. Ok, I just downloaded all the sets and have them all installed (starting with Summer I do believe).I noticed there is a service pack available for the Bluesphere textures and I was wondering if I needed to install it? I noticed how it seems to replace the overcast, cumulus, and some of the tree textures I just installed so I am not sure if I need it or not or if the SP is another option for those who only want a few of the changes (a combination from the other packages)?I'm guessing I should install it because it is a SP but am not too sure.Thanks for the help!
