I just finished building my new system - the one that was supposed to be the dream system. I brought a couple friend over to see the kick a** performance this new system was going to deliver - and ooops - the new system was not a frame rate (not a single framrate) faster than the old one. It was both an embarrasing and funny moment. The old system was an AMD XP 2100+, with 512MB of DDR (400MHZ), on some MSI motherboard. Since Days im trying to figure out whats what with AI traffic but i didnt get anywhere yet, so please help me!What i want for AI traffic is this:- all the major plane AI models- all the textures for different planes of all the major carriers- AI flight plans for major carriers, if i ask to much, at least for major carriers within US.My questions are these:Isnt there any one big Package in a zip with an installer or at least a precise installing manual that lets me install all of the above at …

Got a small problem with some AI I am trying to work into a scenery Im doing. I downloaded Holger's wonderful Bella Coola valley scenery the other day and decided to enhance the airport there with some more accurate details and buildings. So far that is going great. I had some API static aircraft in the scenery but decided to use my AIFD birds which look much better than the API's for static aircraft. I copied some flightplans and just changed the airports for around the immediate area of CYBD (Bella Coola)I used AFCAD to beef up surrounding airports parking so the traffic would show up and it has worked great. A friend of mine and I recently were talking about the plane in James Bond: Die Another Day, and I was wondering if anyone could hazard a guess what plane the was and if there is a fs2002 sim of it.I recall seeing something very similar, minus the glass front, in the news as a military cargo plane, but I don't know what plane it was. Hi everybodyI hope someone can help me get gauges or a new panel for a Spitfires MKiXc or a Spitfire MK VΙΙΙ by Paul Rebuffat. In the panel.cfg file in the panel folder it says "P-51D Mustang" which i fine odd, does that mean he made a Spitfire then put a Mustang panel into it.I have tried to find a Panel & Gauges for a spitfire with no luck, I want to use it in FS9 with WinXP-SP2 Pro.or is there a better Spitfire out there i could use.thankshave a merry Christmasmac

When seeing all those wonderful and highly professional payware add-ons, I wonder how long does it take the respective developers to finish the planes and airports? For instance, a PSS A340, a PMDG B744 or a simflyers airport? I know it varies as sometimes developers take a break, but if they had a steady "discipline", how long would that be?Cheers

I haven't been in the forums so much lately with the Holiday season here. I likely won't participate as much over the next few weeks either. So I wanted to post "Happy Holidays" now and offer thanks to both the developers and simmers who enrich our hobby with their labor and with discussion. Hello All I have just aquired CH Flightsim Yoke USB and pedals USB The Yoke works fine but I cannot set up the USB pedals. Even though they are recognised and calibrated in Windows (XP) when starting FS2004 they do not work at all. Any ideas why this should be? Thanks in anticipation

Can somone help me with when exactly I should use Anti Icing in FS. I guess in my mind it should be when you are in precipitation and the temp is below freezing. I am not sure how this relates in FS. I have heard both that icing is or isnt modeled but I am not too concerned about that since if I know the proper procedures I can avoid icing all together. So I guess in a nutshell I am asking what conditions need to be present for me to use Anti Ice as it relates to MSFS.Thanks Andrew

It was so nice and casual to just pick the flight from the site every evening. Anyone knows what happened to them. (Sort of a stupid but fun tradition) Anyway I just got a bad urge to play an old bomber game but I can't remember the name. I will try to describe it briefly. It is a 2d game (you watched it from the side) and you start of from an aircraft carrier. Your mission is then to fly to a nearby village and either bomb or shoot the people in the villages. Has anyone tried the new version of Flight Keeper(2.5)? If so, what do you think of the new features? My newly installed ProjectAI aircrafts' nosewheels do not allign to the stop lines (the aircraft seems to go over it and the horisontal stop line seems to end up under the plane's belly)Is there a way to fix it ?I have even tried an AFCAD2 file for the airport but it still happens.What is the best way to allign the PARKING ICONS (green ones) in AFCAD so that all plane's have their nosewheels alligned when they are standing in a row at their parking spots !
