I'm recently getting frequent Crashes-To-Desktop in FS9, at specific start-up locations, and I keep seeing this file listed in the detail log of the error message. I suspect it has become corrupt somehow, and I'd like to replace it with a virgin one I manged to locate on CD#2 thanks to Brian Collins' wonderfully useful FS9 File Location Spreadsheet.What is it, and can I replace it readily without sacrificing stored flights and/or flightplans? Whenever I put down the landing gear in the Vistaliners 727-200 it won't go down until I lower my speed to 200 kts. The landing gear won't lower at any speed faster than 200 kts but once I hit 200 kts it will lower even if I pull the lever down at a faster speed. I also get a message saying the gear down speed has been exceeded at a speed faster than 200 kts if I attempt to lower the landing gear. Isn't the maximum gear down speed 270 kts in the 727-200?

Hello: Bought the Flight 1 Conquest and am perplexed. It hops around on the ground in FS 9.1. Something must be wrong, it is such a highly regarded product. Any ideas? K

Hi,I have transferred some approach plates to HTML and would like to have them availeable from the kneeboard. I already have the checklists, flightplan, and info used for checklists and limits, so would like to keep them there and perhaps use another one of the kneeboard parts for this duty. Does any body know what is the line decription for the other ones? I found the syntax on the cfg file for the checklisists as "kb_ckeclists", but cannot find the other ones. Any help would be appreciated.regards,Mac.

I'm just curious if anyone has added the Simufly Carousel-IVA INS system to their Dreamfleet 727 panel (either steam-gauge or EFIS). I think I could do it but I don't know if that would mess anything up with using the Configuration Manager or not. Can anyone tell me why, in the middle of a flight (it can be anywhere in the world), my screen suddenly goes black and the loading progress bar appears ('loading scenery, loading weather ...'). It only takes a few seconds, but it has never happened before this week. I then get dozens of ATC instructions (for AI traffic), as the flight carries on where it left off. As I say, it takes less than five seconds, but it's a bit annoying - and I can't think why it has started to happen. Thanks!Martin S.

HI everyone I would appreciate some help. I installed (sucessfully) FS9 and then FS traffic 04. I have just downloaded and installed the MS FS9 update file (the one that adds the bridges etc etc) restarted the sim. Everything is working okay including fs traffic except I cannot see the 'traffic view ' heading on the menu. I uninstalled fs traffic, uninstalled the MS Fs9 update file and reinstalled both starting with the update file and still nothing. Can any one help me find it and re:install it. Using the 182 Nav trainer,http://www.navfltsm.addr.com/aircraft.htmwith the excellent digital readouts, I can't seem to get revs to 2700rpm. At a steady cruise at ~5000ft, with "cleared" weather, max rpm is about 2500-2530rpm, at that point, cruise almost reaches 110kts.. (this agrees with the listed spec, but why can't I get to that top 200rpm??)temp is about standard as well - 41f at 5000 feet.Certainly on climb, RPM is way less than 2500 - not 2700 as per the instructions.Things I've tried: recalibrate controller displaying "raw" data (max 245 min 0) optimize mix with control-X sensitivites in-game are all "max" and null zone zero. remove joystick assignment and go to …

I tried asking this question in the screen shot forum and it was deleted (though it seemed like the obvious place to ask it). Is there any reasonable way in FS9 to get all of my aircraft out on the tarmac for a screenshot? I know of one method using Afcad and GA-Traffic. The problem with that is that GA-Traffic turns the planes into AI aircraft and it wont work with all add-ons. Was wondering if some scenery-editing tool might allow this?

I have discovered that with enhanced scenery streams lakes and sea often can be misplaced.For example with European Enhanced Scenery and swedish roads at where I live there is two parallell roads with a river between themand hills besides them. Here I see the river floating on the hillside and over hills. What can be done?The same (but not as serious) with FSGenesis streams floating over and on the sides of slopes crests.Now there also is a product calledAmerican Data: Roads, Streams, Rails, UtilitiesI wonder will that solve the problem and place these utilities in the correct places?Also I wonder how will this product work with Megascenery USA series?

Found this file for a helo :ab412_guardia_costiera.zip at an Italien site called http://hangartaborno.com/archivos04/descargas_79-04.html. When Avast checked it it said it had a trojan. So if u see it around then beware. Other d/l's may be ok or may not. ;-)

Downloaded Mike Stone's excellent Saab 340 and went looking for a panel.I remembered Igor Supronov's freeware panel for FS2002, and it works very well in Fs2004. When I fly flight simulator, I mainly fly IFR flights and only simulate real world time schedules, and only fly current real world airlines and flight numbers, with real world aircraft types, specific to the route flown, and fly the same Flight level as in real life. I never pause flight simulator when flying, and always fly at 1x. I fly with real world weather, and it takes me about 1 hour before actually taking off, due to flight planning and aircraft system start up procedures.
