Bought this one the other night...simply great stuff.Does anybody have any mods for this bird yet? In particular,some panel mods to add more modern radios and/or an autopilot?I realize this is a handflyer, but most current birds havesome form of modern electronics available.ThanksEric

If anyone had a PM product:If I purchase a PM product such as the Boeing B737 package, and run it on a seperate networked computer, do I get full functionalilty such as the PMDG NG product? I realize that the panel and plane don't look any different on the machine running FS9, but I'm expecting that the PM autopilot system will offer full a/p control and FMC navigation of the plane, even if the plane in FS is only a "simple" auto-pilot model. Any opinions or advice greatly appreciated.Thanks, Bruce.

Installed UT Fall-Winter 2004 Schedule Update tonight after reading all the documentation, including the statement that aircraft assignments would not be affected. This came with a disclaimer that if an airline changed the reporting aircraft from 757 to 752, then there would be some changes. I understood this and proceeded.After the install, All of the UT traffic was the default blue/white, red/white, or green/white aircraft. KJFK, EGLL, EHAM... Not one single airline paint job. KOLOHE Hope somebody can help, sound suddenly cuts off when switching views, and then comes back on only when ATC. is on, when ATC. is done,sound goes back off. Well I got this program because I was sick of having to reach for the keyboard constantly, pressing the wrong keys etc. Too many times I've selected the wrong ATC phrase by accident, pressed F instead of G, F9 instead of F10, extended flaps instead of retracting them etc.However after trying to use this program for 1 day I have to conclude that voice recognition belongs in science-fiction moveis, not on home computers.The program is absolutely useless PERIOD.Not only does it not recognize what you say 90% of the time

It's when you put a telephoto lens to use that it makes it look rather "Hairy".Here tis,A Lufthansa 747-400 and a United 757-200 are on a simultaneous landing on the parallel runways 28L and 28R at SFO.Real runway separation is 225 meters.Due to the Jumbo being 3 times larger than the 757 and being behind gives us this fantastic optical illusion seeming to fly too near to each other.

Hi y'all. I'm looking for some advice about FSScreen. It has taken upon itself to produce a repeat image so that there two images side by side which measure 2000x700 pixels and I have no idea what I've done to deserve this. My images are now twice as good as they were before but if I tried to post any there would be the left side of one and the right side of the other!! Any thoughts? Thanks.

Is there a "simple" way of starting from the terminal using FSBuild flight plans. I am aware of the option of modifying the file in FSBuild, this is a pain in the butt. I recall in an early version of FSUIPC there was an option to start all flight plans from the terminal. This option does not appear in the current version (not one I can see)ThanksAndrew.:-hmmm

I have never heard of a way to do this but - with FS technology evolving everyday I thought I would ask. Is there anyway to go for a ride with any of the AI vehicles? I ask because I just set up a cruise ship in Seattle that goes from Seattle harbor to the open Pacific, the route it takes is pretty scenic and I would like to to just sit back on the virtual deck and enjoy the scenery. One of the things that has bothered me with add-ons like the Altitude Concord is the sound set. Most sound packages have one feeling as if they were sitting right on top of the APU and Engines. Altitude is very bad with this. I designed a alternative sound set but Altitude wasn't having it because my updates used some of their '.wav' files...I must admit I was leaning more towards CaptainSim but Dreamfleet has done a wonderful job. What's most impressive to me is now we have a very accurate sound set for this type of aircraft. I recently had a mobo go out and decided to upgrade a little withan ASUS A7N8X reusing my Athlon XP2000 cpu. What is the correct seat height of default Learjet 45? As it stands right now, it is set too low for me, and I hardly see the runway on approach. I know you can adjust the seat higher. However, realistically, how much runway can you see on a real Learjet 45 on final?

I already own Reality's WX-Radar. Saw no error messages during the install, but the WX-Radar does not "light up". I have a very slow download at 2.6 kps so downloading any major file takes hours.I purchased the ERJ 145 and was faced with a non resumable download.I attempted to download a number of times taking hours but every time near the end I get "server reset".This means I loose all.This morning even my account has gone so no ability to even try again.To make matters worse I signed up to the forum to post my problems and am even having problems there as i get username and password incorrect.Trying to re register I get username and E mail already in use?Hopefully someone will notice this or post my problem in the forum for me.Peter

I just downloaded the "new" ERJ usa fleet and when I tried to select one of the aircraft it came back with an error that it could not run the erj guages file. And to boot it would not let me continue using msfs. The error message is impossible to remove from my screen I have to re-boot every time it comes up...any suggestions from the expertsthanksPhillyflyer

I just picked up the Seneca V and the Commander 115TC using FSD's Holiday offer. The Seneca is so great that I've only taken a couple of short flights with the Commander. I went into the Load Manager tonight and it said there were 693 hours on the engine and that I'd burned over 11,000 gallons of fuel! So, either FSD sold me a used plane or one of you guys has been sneaking into my hangar. Jim
