Wasnt FSD working on a Cirrus SR20 or SR22 that was aimed for release this month. i heard about the aircraft over a year ago maybe, and from what i was told, it was to be completed and up and out for decomber 04. Just wondering if the project was shelved. I hope not, i love cirrus aircraft :-wave

I'm running FS9.1, CH manager 3.5, I have a CH yoke and pro pedals installed. The pedals and yoke work fine (after much trial and error!), but I can not get a few keyboard features to work like "center ailerons & rudder", which is typically num 5. Numbers 4, 5, 6, 8, and 2 do not work. num 9 and 3 DO work to control engine speed. If I hit CTRL 4 and Ctrl 6, the aileron trim buttons, they work. I've been in the assignments screen a zillion times. I've even tried assigning the centering feature to an unused button. It won't work. I've tried disabling the joystick (CTRL-K). No joy. Is there a website or a book where I can study and then practice in the sim the different kinds of approaches. As of right now I can fly the pattern, do an ILS approach, do a procedure turn approach, I'd like to improve my skills in these areas and learn how to do GPS and VOR approaches. I'm also looking for info on the right way to fly the hold pattern.

Simmers,Maybe some of you solved my problem. I installed Rotterdam NL2000 standalone according to this thread http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...ing_type=search. I flattened it at -15 feet in the scenery.cfg. Also adjusted the afcad file. The parking positions are great, but the runway is 9 feet above ground level. I cannot fix it. I know it has something to do with the EHRD.BGL, but I do not know how to change this file. Does someone of you solved this problem?

Good afternoon Members.I posted this topic recently in the Scenery Forum, but didn't get any replies, so maybe it was in the wrong area.Does anyone know how to make the Landing light poles for Tenerife North 30 sit correctly in relation to the approach terrain. I enclose a screen shot taken whilst on R/W 12, facing the poles.I know that in reality, they are situated on the side of rising ground, but the virtuality is that when making an approach to R/W 30, the aircraft fly straight through the middle of the landing light poles.Many ThanksPaul

I have FS9 installed on a WD 80 gig HD installed in an external case plugged into a high speed USB Port. And, it runs better than it does on the internal WD 40 gig on the IDE. Don't know why, but I'm not asking either -just a happy simmer.Anyone else doing this?

Dear friends !Just to let you know. Today i noticed over at the IFDG forums that Dan Davies had got his My Travel A320 paintuploaded to flightsim.com with my name as a painter. I have never uploaded files from my self or othersto flightsim.com. So this means that someone else have done it and used my name on Dan's work.This is very sad because this will do that i get a bad reputation in the fs world. Thats the reason i write this. I had some fun experience last night. Thought I'd share it here.short flight from LOWI to EDDM in pmdg700. Ok weather (AS2004) at take off with a low cloud layer but as I headed north, I found myself over a thick deck of cloud. With my descending into it, visibility decreased rapidly. Munich ATIS reported a 5-5 temp vs. dew so I knew I'd expect a near 0 visibility. And that's what I got. Runway 8s in use but I just could not make it. I think (not sure) that the ILS on runway 8s are reversed so glideslope was not helping. I ended up over flying the runway at 120 feet (could not see anything AT ALL!) and circled to aim for runway 26R. Teardrop turn and estabilished…

has anyone but me noticed that the default buildings in fs are scaled much too big? at least 1.5x their actual height? think this is done for effect? the height of manhattan is way off. - i know this because i am an architect in ny and have worked w/scale drawings of it., fs is too big.also, if you turn off autogen scenery, does it only turn off the random bldgs that are placed by fs, or does it turn off all buildings and airport effects, i would rather fly with only the actual buildings so the aerial photos would show. its nice to land somewhere that you know and not have the real streets obscured by weird little buildings.

Hello,Just a sim pilot here but I have used a lot of payware! I own both Ultimate Traffic and Mytraffic 2004. For about the last year I have relied on the UT and really never paid attention to the traffic it generated (really quite good). I recently (yesterday) updated to their new schedule (payware) and got a real surprise. The update ruined my traffic installation. It would appear that ANOTHER beta tested payware product got out with "bad data in it". While this is no big deal - just a reinstall back to my old data it did "frost me" a lot. Need HELP. My FS9 is going nuts. Everytime I start FS9,it get's the famous 'send report' it complains about an error in D3D9.DLL. FS9 won't even start.So I went and did a system restore about 4 days ago.Fs9 started. Went into to fly an aircraft and I get an error on NTDLL.DLL. Other aircaft's seem to work.Power off the machine and restart, I cannot get back into FS9., error again on D3D9.DLLI am using Directx 9.0c. Using Nvdia drivers, tried the latest and still nothing. I'm hesitating which one to buy, maybe owners of the products can give me some thoughts?I'm looking for excellent (!) flight dynamics (i.e. not a bird that needs 10 deg nose up with full flaps at 80 kts or so) primarily, and secondarily I want a 2D panel which doesn't feel like assembled in a rush from default gauges and miniaturized so much one cannot read a single digit! So, cCrisp, fluent and clearly readable gauges as well as an FDE "as close as it gets" is a must ;-) (I'm a passionate hand-flyer, no matter if it's "big iron" or a GA plane...)!The planes I consider to buy are either Carenado's new Piper 180F, Aussimm's Warrior II/III, or Flight1's Cessna 172.Andreas
