Thanks for the terrific profile. Flight Assistant by Timm Linder is great too. I have a question. There are a some voice commands that won't do anything when I'm in FS2004. I have trained and trained, but some commands still won't do anything. Yet, when I exit FS2004, and just use the the speak button directly in Flight Assistant, it will repeat every command I speak,including the one's that don't work when I'm in FS2004.Any ideas?

Hi,I didn't see a specific forum for the Program Rwy Object Placer v1.1 by Israel Roth and Seev Kahn so thought I'd ask for some help here. I made a new airport using AFCAD2 by Lee Swordy but all the terrain is default. I wanted to add some objects using Rwy12. This is a long post so please be patient.I installed Rwy12 and all the necessary files with no problems. I followed the tutorial: Opened fs9 - slew to where I wanted to place the object then minimized fs9. My 2.6ghz cpu FS2004/FS9.1 continues to use 100% of the CPU. I am curious to know if anyone with one of the latest/fastest PCs ever sees less than 100% CPU usage? Or, is there no limit to the appetite of the program!Dick Boley @KLBE

G'Day everyoneI havent really posted in the General Discussion Forum very much and Im sorry I have to ask for some help.I recently downloaded this program by Marcus Thompson.I have a problem with the gauges. Ive followed the Step By step instructions, and I have installed the gauges and the button onto the default Boeing 737 panel. My problem is that the panel comes up just plain black, no buttons. I am able to press shift+7 to bring it up but also just blank, and pressing the panel button doesnt bring up the gauge.. I have installed the FDSFX.bmp into the panel folder..I have no idea what could be causing this. It happens in both Window and Full Screen mode (800x600). Do…

Today I installed the DSB Eurofighter to my FS2004. It used to work fine in FS2002 (which is what it was developed for) but in FS2004 I am not able to extract or use the flaps in anyway. I took a look at the cfg as well as the air file but didn't manage to find out what causes this problem. I just love this plane and it would be nice if anyone could tell me how to solve this problem.

I was wondering if there could be a few changes and such..It seems that recently Avsim has become more of a "shopping mall", so to speak. Is there anyway to add a few other additions like Scenery Reviews, Bear's Cave, and possibly community thought pieces...you know, things that are interesting and have variety? I really miss Bear's Cave. It was fun to read and brought attention to many of our communities freeware authors. When I turn off auto-rudder it SEEMS that fs9 wants me to give some left or right rudder in left or right turns *all the way through the turn*. Whereas my understanding is that rudder counteracts slip due to *operation* of elevator, therefore you apply rudder with elevator until turn is established, then remove rudder and elevator while turn is in progress, then apply opposite rudder with opposite elevator to return to level flight. Unless I'm misreading the ball, I seem to need constant rudder during turns in all the planes I've flown so far?

Hello all :)Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this but the screenshot forums rules dont allow text-only posts!I got some neat screenshots to share with all of you but they are too big for the forum. The screenshot size is 1024 X 768. When I try to make them smaller to satisfy forum size rules of 800 X 600 pixels the picture gets all squished up :(The A321 in the screenshot ends up looking like an A319!Yet I see some nice small screenshots from all of you - how do you make them smaller without distortion? I recently went from ATI CAT 3.9 which has always been solid for me to the new 4.12 and have seen a remarkable improvement in FS.But I have noticed that the ATI Control Panel uses a process called CLI which is command line interface.I turn this off using fsautostart since it uses about 28meg in RAM but for some reason fsautostart does not restart it.If this process is not running you cannot start the ATI control panel.The big ??? is should I keep it running ?? and if I dont run it does that mean the ATI graphic controls I have put in place will not interface with FS such as the AF and AA settings.ThanksAndy

Hi folks, I'd like to say a word in praise of the Eclipse500 available in the Avsim library..e500v3.zip by Fuel Labs. Flies very nicely,framerate friendly and with a really neat glass cockpit..even an APU. I've purchased several payware addon ac, hardly ever fly them ..too complicated for my feeble and probably somewhat pickled brain. This is just complex enough. Check it out..JamesJ

Just a heads up. For all those wishing they had loads of military AI, I just upgraded MyTraffic to the latest version 2.1 and military bases all over the world are filled with fighters, AWACS, cargo, etc. Looks fantastic and fills a void no one else has sufficiently addressed yet. All the airliners have been changed also for faster texture loading and there's even more GA traffic.If you haven't got yet it's a great stocking stuffer for yourself. If you already have MyTraffic the update is just 10.99 Euro.Enjoy flyin'Zane
