Hi folks,i have a problem with the A/THR of one of my panels. My CH Product throttles are still working when the A/THR is active so they still control the engines. I tried everything to get them to work properly but nothing really helped. Is there any way to solv this problem? Maybe there's something to add into the FS9.cfg or the aircraft.cfg that tells the FS to deactivate the throttles when the A/THR is active?hoping for helpTom

The Mohawk river in upstate NY abruptly ends heading west at Fulton Co airport (NY0) on my install. Can somebody please check their install to see if the river continues past Fulton Co?I think one of my add-on screwed up the river(or it was wrong in the first place by MS)addons:USA RoadsFSGenesis MeshFS WaterThanks.

I just reloaded FS9 today because it was hanging up while the splash screen was up on the screen. Now it runs until I click the fly now button then it just turns off and shuts down. I was also getting this message earlier"The procedure Entry Point ObjectfromLresult could not be located in the dynamic link library"Any suggestions on how to correct this problemThanks,Phillyflyer

Hey everyone, I was wanting to know how to resize scenery textures to a smaller size. I love Chris Arrington's textures, but I get a load pause when I have been in cockpit view and switch to spot and pan around, its annoying. So I wanted to try to make them smaller and see if that does anything. Also, after I resize them, do I need to do anything with them for them to show correctly in FS, I use DXTBmp to convert textures for aircraft painting, but I have never messed with scenery textures. Not sure if this has happended to anybody else. A few days ago I downloaded Lennart's textures to see if I liked them. Followed the instructions and went flying. "Looks ok" I thought "but I can't see much of a difference". Switched on the PC tonight and I get an error message which mentions a folder called "Program". Program? I thought. Don't remember having a "Program" folder. Had a look. It contained the new textures. Went back to the original zip files contained within the "master" zip file. Double clicked and looked at the path. Aha! The path was marked as C:Program.... and not C:Program Files..I've now reloaded to the correct destination and will fly around to see w…

Hi, I have encountered a very strange problem lately. I begin a flight, get up to cruise altitude, everything goes fine. Then, I switched from cockpit view to external view and my monitor goes blue. I get an error about ati3dual.dll or something like that (the whole process goes very quickly) and the a dump of all physical memory. Then, the computer restarts.There is a message about width or something being exceeded.I got a new 22" monitor a few weeks ago and everything was going fine until this happened a couple of times. This never happened with my old, smaller monitor. I guess its video card related. Anyone experience this, Any ideas?

Can someone please help me out. For somereason every once in a while FS speeds up the time to almost double but without going into 2x. The only fix I have found for this is to delete the fs9.cfg file but its annoying reconfigureing every few weeks. Does someone know what the cause and/or solution is?Thanks,

My FS2004 9.1 works fine except whenever in multiplayer and a third party logs in, I am disco'd within 2 or 3 minutes.Even in zone.com, if a third party joins, I am disco'd.So I am limited to myself and one other person.This may be some obvious setting I have wrong or something else.Anyone have an idea? Hi all, When I save any flight that I would like the SIM to start up with next time I can get away from the wife no matter what I do the SIM always starts with the Bill Gates default - the Cessna at Seattle. Now I'm no real newbie and have tried a few things but this is driving me nuts.I do tick the little box that says "Make this the default flight" and I call it "startup" and that seems to save to the correct location i.e. in the C:/Documents & Settings/User_Name/My Documents/Flight Simulator Files folder. I've added a lot of payware to my FS9. HI,Not sure if this is the correct forum for this question but thought I'd start here.I have just completed a small private airport using AFCAD2(by Lee Swordy) from scratch. I've followed the AFCAD manual closely and things seem to be OK (parking and all). I ran "fault finder" and none were found. I have an ATIS, FBO(unicom) and NDB freqencies for the airport.My question is: How do I get the fs9 default AI traffic to use the airport?:-hmmm I guess I would have to use TTools(by Lee Swordy)to edit the "traffic.bgl" file. Hello,What is a "realistic" way to use an Airbus with ATC?I am very good at programming the FMS for my flight. How do I use the FMS when I fly with, say, Radar Contact? I am OK at using the Autopilot in the "non-programmed" modes but doesn't that defeat the use of the FMS? After having my share in CTDs am days of testing last autumn, I must say that scenery.cfg is one of the most critical files which can extremely easily cause a CTD.Important is what is in scenery.cfg. Of course, the content should be reasonable (i.e. proper numbering and such).But, I have the impression that there are some characters or character sequences FS9 doesn't like at all.E.g. I tried to install R. Taburets San Francisco photoreal (which, by the way, only gives me a dark gray surface, so I deleted it again). The link below shows my situation better then I can explain it to you all. For some reason I can no longer adjust any settings within FS9. It started a month ago or so, I'm not sure what brought it on, however, I have uninstalled/deleted anything that deals with fs9 and reinstalled, changed folder names etc. Everytime I reinstall it I looks just like below. At my local airport everyone calls "Fulton County traffic..." but in FS9 it's "November Yankee Zero traffic...". Is it possible to change it from NY0 to Fulton County using EditVoicepack?Thanks,Jim

What caused a total or near-total freeze of FS9 for me on approach into EGLL?Too much AI by Ultimate Traffic. Yeah!I had it set at 50% which I thought was low. I'd been able to set it at 80% for almost everywhere else in the world and not freeze and still be able to approach with decent fps. But not at EGLL. It froze me solid at 1 nm to 7 nm out. I'd be cruising in in ymy 747 at IAS 155 ready for landing and BLAM! out of left field, with fps at a steady 14-15/sec, freeze. Aaaargh!Ditto at Gatwick. It was horrific. Has anyone found a fix for the surging autothrottle issue in the P. Oliveira flight dynamics for the A320? Mr. Oliveira says it is in the PSS panel. Would love to fix this issue, as I really do like this set of flight dynamics for this aircraft. Thanks.Joe

HiIs there a way or an indication as to the trim position of this beautiful aircraft? I know that before take off you have to set flaps at 15 and +5 of trim but how do I know what trim I set if I keep adjusting it with my joystick? Stelios

Before I updated FS9 to FS9.1 I had imported a file from FS2002 that gave me the previously missing Chesapeake Bay bridge. Trouble is I don't know what file it was! Since I fly out of Baltimore I needed that bridge real bad! Now that I have updated to FS9.1 I have 2 bridges. Apparently the update did not overwrite the other file.
