So a question for everyone is what was your longest flight that you ever achieved from start to finish, and no time acceleration or unlimited fuel. Where did you go? Which aircraft did you use and did you enjoy it. Now note you didn't need to be in the cockpit all the time for the flight to count. My longest flight for example to my knowledge was from Singapore to Vancouver non-stop with the PDMG 747-400 Air Canada it was extremely long and tiring(about 14-15 hours since winds were strong), but enjoyable once I got there. I'd be curious to know this as well. More variety in voices and words spoken is definitely needed. List of 2015 improvements would be appreciated. With the developers history, I'm guessing nothing has changed at all hardly and it's just a FSX SE/P3D money grab.

I am stumped! I copied a FS9 AI aircraft file complete over to FSX and the textures do not show (just white aircraft with a blue prop disc). I added a stock panel to have it show in the preview box with the same result. File works fine in FS9. Any comments?? This is FSX-SE but I don't think that is the problem. Thanks, Fred Z

I participate in the Windows 10 Insider Program, and the last two builds have caused EZDok to not work. After the first build, I tried to uninstall it, and EZCA worked again, but the removal of the build messed up a couple of other features on my computer. When the next build came out, those issues were fixed but now EZCA does not work again. I've tried standard stuff (admin rights, compatibility, etc) but now luck. I'm wondering if anyone has any tips for most efficiently using the standard view system in FSX. I installed EZCA a couple of years ago, but not sure I want to reinstall windows 10 from scratch just to get EZCA to work. Thanks!

HELP! This is a new problem for me. In the years that I've been simming I've never encountered this problem. All of a sudden my crs, speed. heading, and altimeter dials will only turn one way, increasing and not decreasing. Oh and the trim wheel also does this. I am running windows 10 with an hp desktop. Intel core i 3 CPU , 560 3.33 ghz. 16 gb of RAM and 64 bit os. I also just installed FSUIPC to go with my new FSX classic pro throttle quadrant. I haven't opened up the cfg file so I wouldn't know anything about changing it. Thanks for the help in advance Fernando Macias

All, I have been on P3D 2 and 3.1 for a while, but recently the microstutters that were always there are getting on my nerve, so I am considering going back to FSX-SE. If you have ran FSX-SE rock solid for months, I am interested in knowing what combination of add-ons you are using. I had FSX-SE a year ago, with just the ORBX regions, UTX GEX but occasionally I still have crashes. With P3D and the same combo, I rarely have any crash at all, but the microstutters and the lousy AA are pushing me back. Thanks in advance.

The Turbine Duke from RealAir is an outstanding piece of Aircraft. When it goes to realism, it`s above Carenado. Carenado planes do work, but RealAir is just more authentic. After my first flight with the Turbine Duke, I was in Love with this Aircraft. Just outstanding. Same on the Lancair Legacy. But you know what I would really love to see folks? A Piper Cheyenne. What about the 400ls with five blade props? That would be it I can tell you that. If RealAir would build that Aircraft for the Sim, that would be fifty times of awesome. RealAir, I hope you see this. =)

Morning everyone, Ive recently got back into flying with FSX Gold (SP2) and am having an audio problem that i hope someome can help me with. During a flight (any flight with any plane) there is an annoying sound like something interfering with the speakers that has a tone or. pitch that goes up and down... ATC chat is fine but most times it has happened after ATC has finished speaking. it lasts for about 10 seconds then sounds return to normal (aircraft sounds, ATC etc). I mentioned that it sounded like some kind of speaker interference but i know its not that as im a licenced Amateur Radio operator and have already checked all my pc components for interference to…

Hello my name is Clay and this is my first post but I am not "new" to FSX. I was wondering if anyone knows about a sound file which I can swap out for the default CRJ-700. The problem with the default is when is cruise there is this background noise that drives me insane! Is there any sound files that are FREE? I know there is one payware but, well, I don't want to spend 13 bucks to change the sound. I may just put an erj, 717 or any other smaller jets sound file in there. Hey guys, I'm having a bit of trouble with corrupt textures that aren't matching the terrain with the airport at KBFI Boeing Field in FSX Acceleration. I've got ORBX FTX Global, Vector, PNW scenery, and their Central Rockies. I'm running Toposim USA mesh, and I arrange my scenery library with Scenery Config Editor, latest version. I've rearranged the library many, many times with different combinations of scenery library inserts, and changing the order of library items. Still, no difference. ORBX has so many topics and guides on where to place their products in the library, yet one guide says one arrangement, then another says different. Anyway, I'm grateful for any help …

I'm hoping someone can give me some advice based on their personal experience with an upgrade. Has anyone gone from a SB2500k OC to 4.6Ghz to an I7 4790 @ 4Ghz. I'm looking at making an upgrade within a few months and don't want to spend a load of dosh on an upgrade which won't show me anything. So actual experience of this upgrade would be preferable, rather than supposition.Cheers.

Hi Having switched to x-plane a couple of years ago, mainly because of practically no ATC, no real good weather engine and lack of addons like fscaptain, fspassanger, etc... I'm now trying to return to FSX (I just bought FSX:SE Premium edition). A couple of questions: 1) Weather: I used FSWX before, and it was good, algouth I'm looking now for ASN. (I understand if the best weather engine right now). I read over there there's a new AS2016 coming. This will "replace" ASN ? if so, what differences are and will I have to "rebuy" the whole product ? 2) Anybody knows if EZDOK is really working on FSX:SE ? Or there is any new alternative ? Hi.. How can I put the camera somewhere on the ground and it will just stay there.. viewing only the part I fixed it on. I tried so many types available and they keep on disappoint me. All are following the aircraft,, I don't want the camera to follow the aircraft. I used to have an add-on in fs9, but it no longer works with fsx. I have purchased many aircraft and much scenery for FSX:SE (using Steve’s DX10) but as far as airports go I have only purchased ORBX airports to date. I love them but as a rule they only do small or medium size airports for N.A. and Europe. I would like to add some larger airports to the mix for use with ORBX Global and ORBX detailed regions (I own all the detailed regions in N.A. and Europe). I have looked at many of the airport vendors often mentioned at AVSIM but I am still wondering which ones might best fit the following requirements: Airports that work seamlessly with ORBX scenery and are just “install and go” No other add-on managers or other software required. …

Hi, I want to assign the GSX pushback to a joystick button. It involves a push of keystrokes, I do have fsuipc, how can a sequence of keystrokes be assigned to a joystick button. In the menu fsuipc, I can assign two key strokes, one one press and other on release. That's all. But I need about 5 keystrokes at the press of a joystick button. How can this be achieved ? Thanks

Two years ago I purchased a Liberty XL2 from Eaglesoft because it was the first aircraft, as far as I could find, that implemented the marvelous then new Flight1 GTN 750/650 into the console rather then only functioning as a popup. Put a lot of hours on that little bird. This year after a hiatus from FSX and a nearly complete computer rebuild and a shift to FSXSE, I eagerly reloaded the Liberty GTN as the vehicle for refreshing my skills. Hi Folks , I'm thinking about the purchase of Flight1 GTN 750 for FSX. My config: i5-750/3.3GHz(OC), 4Gb 1333MHz RAM, AMD 4980/1Gb Graphic card. Will there be enough power for this software ? I read that the requirement is 8Gb Ram, but I don't want to buy any new hardware now. Thanx

I'm trying to buy the adventure bundle but as it contains FSX itself which I already have, Steam wont let me. The only option appears to buy it as a gift for someone else - but I think that means gifting the whole bundle, not just FSX. Anyone have experience of this and know a workaround? Cheers Keith

Hi, Ok here is my plan. I want to take a couple of the Thrustmaster Cougar MFD's and overlay a USB display with them to show the Milviz F-15 MPD/MPCD. Dows anybody know how to change the panel.cfg so I can show the MPD/MPCD's as a gauge? Currently this is what is in my panel.cfg file. I hit Shift and either 1,2 or 3 and I get the following gauges [Window Titles] Window00=Main panel Window01=GPS Window02=Weapons Manager Just looking for what i need to add to this file, or am I barking up the wrong tree? As most users will know, the MyTraffic B777 aircraft bear so little resemblance to the real aircraft that they are a complete joke - the worst of all the models in my opinion. I have recently been experimenting with FreeTrack head tracking, I own a TrackIR. When starting FreeTrack with Opus I get the following error, "FSXTRACKIR.EXE Has stopped working" FaceTrack NoIR works well with OPUS for me, does anyone have a solution to this problem with FreeTrack? Charles

Hello, I have P3Dv.3.1. I'm having a problem with TrackIR jumping when I have it run through Opus. If I deselect it in the configeration in Opus, it will stop jumping, but then I can't use the live camera. I'm sure that it is something that I have set wrong, but I can't think of what it might be.
