Aerosoft have released the official trailer for their new version of EDDF, which is already announced as "coming soon" on their website. There appears to be a 33% discount for owners of V1. Over at Aerosoft Forums a big talking point is that movable jetways of any kind will not be supported. The video looks rather splendid. Considering recent Aerosoft releases (Tegel, Prague, Split) had some problems with their release versions, I'll probably wait with purchasing until I see some reviews. But since it seems Flightbeam won't deliver a version of EDDF any time soon, this will be the only rendition of EDDF for quite some time I suppose.

Hey, First off, I hope it's okay to ask about OpusFSI related issues here, despite the forum being named OpusFSX. I recently picked up OpusFSI for its camera / head movement functions, after EZCA giving me a lot of grief. After some reading and setting up, I finally set everything up the way I wanted. One problem though; I set up my Xbox One controller to move around the cockpit and it works great but I can't seem to move the external view. I'm using the OpusFSI-specific external camera but nothing moves when I use the live camera controls / controller? I tried looking around but can't seem to find any answers, if I'm even supposed to be able to do that. Hope…

Good afternoon, I'm installing some AI flightplans for FSX and wondered if I can use my DJC A319 from FS2004 in FSX or is there a different model basepack that I need to use? It's because I'm installing British Airways and one of the A319's is in the Dove livery which I cannot find for the FAIB model. I look forward to any help. Kind regards Gavin Moss

So I’ve decided to bite the bullet and upgrade to Win10 pro from Win 7pro. I have a server running win 10 and there are two laptops running it so it sorts of makes sense to make the switch on my main PC. I intend to install FSX and all the stuff below on its own SSD and there is an SSD already there for the OS. Now I’m not looking for a don’t do it/Do it type advice or “you should switch to P3d” (I’ve got too much money invested in FSX) but more along the lines of where to expect problems if any, and any other installation/setup advice you may feel relevant. Or do they transfer seamlessly, with out any action on my part? Boxed edition is so bloated with addons, I think, that it will not load fully before it hangs, but I hate to have to purchase everything again. Simply cannot afford it. I have purchased P3D, but there I know that most addons ( A2A, Realair, GTN750, ASN, REX etc, ) would have to be repurchased, so not sure if I want to go that route. Between a rock and a hard place.

Newbie - HELP, How do I take a screenshot with the snipping tool in fsx-steam when this program does not run "windowed"? I also tried "prtscrn" but only get a black picture! I have a problem with the pmdg tutorial, which requires a "screenshot" for a better explanation. Thanks

Hello, My Avg antivirus dectected one of the utltimate traffic2 for FSX (utii.dll) as a trojan. It was stored in quanrantine. I restored it but now UT2 no longer works and I get a message telling me that my license is invalid so the program is shut down. I cannot enter my license. I am sure it is a false detection and now my program is broken.

So, I've been practising landing with only one engine on my 737-800 PMDG-NGX. I set it up in the FMC but the hardest was managing the throttle. I couldn't engage the A/T. But for some reason I COULD engage A/T when I turned down working engine thrust lever. Can somebody please explain to me - how does it actually work? I love aircrafts but I know almost nothing about them, I only try to remember all the checklists.

Is there something I am not doing correct? There just seems to be a lack of traffic in FSX and SE even with the sliders at 100% I just installed WOI and even with my slider at 100% there seems to be a whole lot less traffic than what shows up in FS9. I have done a lot of Google searches today to see if I can find a remedy and WOI is useless for support. Can you help? Randy S.

Hi there, I have REX Essential Plus and was using this as my weather engine until yesterday when I decided to download Active Sky Next to try it out for 7 days as I'm thinking of purchasing. Have a question about the minimum and maximum cloud draw settings found in ASN and how I should set them since I'm using REX for textures now. When I first set up my settings for REX I read the manual and on page 11 of the PDF I have it states this about the cloud draw setting within FSX: Cloud draw distance instructs FSX how far to draw clouds. Hi, I am setting up/building a computer for my father so he can run FSX. I have the computer specs pretty much figured out and have built computers before, recently building a beefed up Video editing rig. My questions are: Which program(s) should i get? I have read you can download FSX from Steam for cheap or you can download FSX for around $150. Which program can you download planes and airports for and join in ATC operations in a multiplayer format? Also should we consider MS Flight instead? Are there add-ons or other programs we will need? Silly question, is there a key command for switching from ias to mach display. Cant see any iin fsx , there is a mach hold toggle in FSUIPC and a mach on off, which is probably realted, but cant see a toogle for mach to ias.?? Thanks

I am curious to know why no development has gone into the potential benefits of using two computers, one for aircrafts and one for scenery, in order to alleviate the various bottlenecks pertaining to loading high res scenery while flying complex aircrafts. The cost of having multiple pcs is low enough to make it possible. tony

Does anyone know if FSX or an FSX weather ad-on facilitates the imagery of snow accumulation onto an aircraft that is stationary at an airport? Just curious.. And as an added bonus does it effect the flight if you attempt to takeoff with ice/snow accumulation on the airfoil? (keep in mind I am ignorant of this because I do not yet have FSX on any PC.

Hi guys, So I want to try to fly using VOR so I used SkyVector to create a flight plan but I realized I have a question or two. My flight plan is: KHQM -> HQM -> V27 -> AST -> KAST How would you guys go about flying this route? Say you have to takeoff from runway 06: do you fly directly over the HQM VOR or would you turn and intercept the V27 airway? Also, on the takeoff minimums page at KHQM for departing procedure it says: TAKEOFF MINIMUMS: Rwy 6, 600-2 or std. with a min. climb of 260' per NM to 600. DEPARTURE PROCEDURE: Rwy 6, climbing right turn heading 110°: Can someone explain to me what "600-2 or std" means? And if you were flying…
