Just re-installed UK2000's Manchester Xtreme, but this is what I get when opening it---look at the line of the default terminal building extending beyond the UK2000's. Common Library is installed. Have contacted Gary at UK2000,but so far no response.Hopefully, somebody can shed some light.

I'm trying, for the first time, to assign a joystick button to select a camera view. In the camera definition, I click on the "Joystick Button" field. It turns red. I click on the joystick button I want, but OpusFSI doesn't see the button press. In fact, it doesn't see ANY button presses from any of my USB HID devices that have buttons (all Saitek gear). The button presses are visible to P3D itself if I map one, and they're visible to FSUIPC -- but OpusFSI (4.66.2) doesn't see them. What could be going on? -M.

Hello all, I know this has been widely discussed at several places and I have read most of it. But I am still not able to decide and cannot match the pros and cons to my system (How good my system can handle fsx and p3d) My dilemma is : Should I stay with FSX or move to P3D. Most in here want their game to look its best, but I'd like to hear what settings you turn down in FSX to improve your personal performance requirements? This can include things such as disabling addons or nVidia inspector btw. I'll assume Bloom off and tree shadows off are the first to go. What settings do you sacrifice first, second and third??

I find I am unable to install it now, and the entry within the Add/Remove FSX program refuses to uninstall. I have previously removed the files for FSX months ago. Any advice please?

Man I could pull my hair out. I am trying to learn the ils landings with the newer Boeing AP panels, the ones with the flch buttons. Specifically the Posky 777, the Quality wings 757, and any others that use these. I have tried several times and I just have questions I can't figure out. How do I lock on to the localizer? Why is there a Nav button and also a localizer button? They can both be on or not. I am not talking about the Lnav button, I don't use the fmc in these. In the posky 777, the lnav IS the nav button, when I put my mouse over it, it says Nav, which leads me to think it is the same as the Nav button on the simple 737 posky planes. On these new…

Hi, Due to a hard drive failure I am trying to reinstall FSX on another drive. The problem I am having is that during the install I am getting an error 0x80040702. "Failed to load dll: gameuxinstallhelper". Anybody else ever have this problem and if so, what did you do to fix it. I've searched and have found several suggestions but none seem to work for me. I'm using Win 10. Would appreciate any fixes for this. Jim

Hi, im using a three widescreen monitor and the 2d main panel is too Little. If i change the panel.cfg and put more tan 1.0 in the Y axis i will get the mouse cursor flickering bug. Therefore i need to cut/crop unnecesary stuff like the compass área in the feelthere A320 to resize the panel. Can this be done modifying the .dll with visual studio?? Im trying with fs panel studio to no avail.

After a reinstall of P3D and OpusFSI onto new server and client hardware (2 separate PCs), I'm not getting weather on my client. Live view works fine, and I see weather updates appear in the 'spy' window on the client (when I force a weather refresh on the server, for example) -- but I'm not getting the weather on the server replicated on the client. I've been through the 'getting started' guide pretty thoroughly (well, so I believe), but I just cannot see what is wrong. Running P3D v3.1 and OpusFSI 4.65.3. Can anybody give me a steer? -M.

Hello, I have a bit of an issue with my FSX:SE and I hope someone can help me with it. So basically I'm trying to override FSX:SE Filtering and Anti-Aliasing settings using nVidia Inspector as described here http://www.avsim.com/topic/324786-nvidia-configuration-guide-inspector-2xxxx-drivers-version-20-explanations-of-all-settings/ However I'm not sure if the settings are being applied correctly or not. The reasons why I think the settings are being applied is because when I set the frame limiter to 30.5 it works. Does anybody know what I can use to directly import flight plans into the Ifly fmc. I do not know how to convert into the format.

I am trying to decide between FSX and P3D, but I don't think this is a P3D question. Before my FSX install became unmanageable, I ordered and used, with good results, the GTN750 in my A2A general aviation aircraft. Looking around to order it for my P3D experiment (academic version), and it costs $150? Hi I am using FSX:SE with REX 4 Texture Direct (DLC). Today, I bought REX soft clouds also as DLC from Steam. I could not find the way to integrate both. I assume Soft cloud is not "installed" by default. I didn't find any executable in Soft Clouds DLC folder to install textures like REX4 TD. Tried to look at REX forums/Soft cloud "manual", but I got more confused than before. Any idea how to do this?

I see CLS are working on a new DC-10 model, it looks to be quite good, I hope it performs as it should. The reason I am posting is that due to there not being a quality DC-10 for FSX/P3D I have become used to the glass cockpit of the MD-11 over the last few years. It's a fine plane but my heart belongs with the DC-10, preferring the soulful wail of the CF6-50s to the mournful howl of the 11's CF6-80s. So wouldn't it be fantastic if CLS did an MD-10 FedEx model. Yesterday I downloaded Fly Tampa's Corfu, and to say I was amazed would be an understatement. It truly is a masterpiece. Beautifully rendered scenery, using photoscenery across the whole island with well placed autogen throughout and a well crafted airport. The frames, which is always my biggest concern these days, or should I say performance, was silky smooth. FPS never dropped below 30 across the whole island and never below 23-25 around the airport. This is with the A2A Comanche, VOX atc, AI set at 30%, AS running with 3/8 cloud cover, and the autogen slider set at very high. It may be that it will perform differently on others' rigs, but with my computer it work…

Hi everyone, I've recently attempted 3 exact same flights in 2 days and all 3 have been hit with the same issue (LFMN-EGLL). About an hour into the flight at the cruising altitude my frame rate drops horribly to about 3fps for about 15 seconds and the aircraft in question (aerosofts A321) then rolls to one side and in some cases begins to nose dive then comes back to normal. I've tried reinstalling and everything. Simconnect installations have been run and I've tried repositioning the camera and nothing seems to work. I've flown the NGX for about a year now and I've never had any trouble with it.

I'm having a frustrating time with this: I seem to have some ghost control commands and I cannot figure out from where they are being generated. I was not having issues, and then it started, and I'm not sure what happened. I map a control in FSX control settings - say a button on my x-55 stick for the ATC window. I press the button, and flaps increase. I've cleaned everything out of the x-55 settings file. I've removed the FSUIP4 folder thinking that might be an issue. I've removed and reinstalled the plane (an A2A Comanche). I've deleted the .xml from the Controls folder (and right now, it hasn't re-appeared!). I uninstalled, cleaned and reinstalled the x-55 …

So the VR people have this feature called Asynchronous Timewarp. From videos of people using it and reading about it, it is like voodoo magic, greatly increasing appeared frame rates. Why isn't this available to other low frame rate games on a desktop PC? Edit: Just wanted to add, this is apparently no tech to sneeze at. Frooglesim showed it improving frame rates from a start of 30 fps, then it turned the 30 fps into 90 fps!!!

I recently had to reinstall C:/ from a Backup but now am unable to install FSX. I get the Repair/Uninstall page and not the install page. i have searched Regedit for FSX reference and deleted where found. Can nayone offer help please Many thanks raffer

hello, when i load into the C17 the sim pauses and when i unpasue it pauses again and when i got out side view there is see through parts to it could anyone help me i have unticked "pausing on task Switch"

One can change the transparency of 2D panel windows but I see no way to make the Alt menus (File, Aircraft, World, etc) fully solid and not transparent. Is there a hack or file edit that can make these menus solid background?
