I've noticed that when I am in TopDown view I am unable to zoom in or out, either using +/- or the mouse wheel. I have checked Camera.cfg and the TopDown section has Zoom=True. Does anyone know if this is a known issue when EZDOK is installed? If so then I can live with it, but if the is a solution that would be great. Any ideas? Stuart

Forgive me for having to post this specific issue on the general FSX forum, but I see there is no Leonardo Maddog dedicated support forum here, and the forums on their website are very inactive. I reinstalled my Leonardo Maddog 2010 version from Simmarket today. Every time I open up the "Manager & Setup" now it prompts me with the screen to enter my Enable Key. Once I do, it accepts it and everything's fine. But it never saves my key, so I have to do this every single time I open the program. The plane will fly fine in FSX, but I rely on the manager obviously for fuel and load planning, and changing the aircraft options. It's very annoying, and it saved the key in…

Hi! Today I bought and installed the new PMDG 777. Everything worked flawlessly, but a new problem occurred: Everytime I close FSX, fsx.exe*32 stays in the task manager and won´t shut down, even when I select "end process", it won´t disappear. I recognised it, because ezca.exe and shadenl.exe don´t close anymore after I quit FSX. What could cause that problem? OS is Win 7 64 bit. Thanks in advance!

I'm a long time user of Ezdok. It was tedious to set things up originally, but once set up I like it. I like the way it shakes the eyepoint and the ability to have absolute control over how much it does so, I like the convenience of just being able to hit a hotkey and shift views, etc. It's a devil, but sometimes the devil you know is better than the devil you don't, and so I have a lot of hesitancy to switch over to something like Opus. Hello. I've recently noticed that when I enter in slew mode aircraft rotated counterclockwise or slowly moves backward. What's wrong? I pressed some key?(if I did why it doesn't fix after relaunching FSX?). I'm using fsdreamteam GSX and when I try to configure aircraft parameters(door positions) I can't do anything because GSX uses slew mode in configuration and because of this slew movement I set wrong parameters. Hello flight simmers! I've been playing flight sim for quite some years now. And in that time i've been collecting many add-on downloads and hard-ware to suite my flying needs. Only my problem is that every once and a while, my flight sim gets to messy with add-ons. Once this happens, the random crashes and freeze's happen. As you all know, flying realtime from dubai to heathrow, and having to coop with a crash right before landing, isn't always in the best interest of my humor. Hey Pilots! On my last Flights occured a graphic glitch where the Runway is covered by Grass Textures or sometimes it is covered and the Runway flickers thru the grass. But this is not visible when I load the Airport initially. I loaded an airport if it looks okay, but when I later fly inbound to this airport the glitch appears. This happens on freeware scenery and it also accured on Payware Scenery, Oslo Mega Airport for example. I use FTX Global with Vector - but I alredy have disabled it for the Airports where it was glitching with no success. I have now absolute no clue why this occurs... maybe someone knows this and a solution? Thank you very much!

Not sure this is the right forum, but I posted on the aerosoft site and didn't get any answer. Perhaps somebody else here had the same issue and found the solution. I recently purchased and installed the Airbus 318/319/320/321 bundle, but I had no luck getting it to work. My system: Windows 10, i2500K, GTX980Ti. Sim: P3D v3.3 and FSX-Se (same problem with both sims). I use a Saitek X52 joystick for ailerons/elevators and dedicated pedals for rudder. Problems: On the runway, if I push the pedals the FLCT display in the cockpit shows the correct movement of the rudder (rotating right when I push the right pedal, left when I push the left pedal), however if I …

As I didn't get any answer on my last question I try once more. My DVD stops after a while and doesn't even succeed in starting the Installshield program. I guess the program spare the IS in the Installshield folder on the HD so I would like to know for sure that there is no problem deleting the folder. The IS files are in GUID code so it's impossible to know which one is the FSX IS file and that's why I've got to delete the folder assuming the folder will be created again. And I think the IS file on the HD has become corruped and the program is choosing it instead of the one on the DVD. Hoping for help Gunbjo

I'm hoping a polite bump in the FSX forum (if this type of cross-posting is allowed?) might reach more viewers with possible ideas:- Specifically, the iFDG MD-11. I'm using a 2D instrument panel. and in addition to the main instrument panel there's bitmaps for the other cockpit views. Previous versions of FS would have utilised these when panning around with the joystick hat. For example when panning to the rear I see the outside world, wing parts and the main undercarriage bays. Hi guys Quick question, in dusk and night settings why is it my runway lights on final using stock default airports are lit up like Xmas trees from 5nm+, yet I can barely make the runway lights on most of my payware airports from the same distance? Is it to do with how the lighting has been developed by the 3rd party devs? Usual mix of vendors, UK2000 Taxi2gate, Flytampa FSDT etc. Thanks Sid

Hi all,My first post; I usually just look around and download stuff, but have found something worth sharing -- a fix for disappearing AI aircraft when they remain stationary for more than 5 minutes. AITP-X has already been released, and that's good for FSX SP1, but not SP2, as many will know.This fix brings the AI timeout up to around 15-17 minutes for FSX SP2, something which many of us have been looking for for a long time. We all want a new, ideal, perfect sim. We all want the best of sceneries and the best of planes. And we all acknowledge the fact that our hobby is small. Yet, compared to a few years ago, the sim offerings is growing. From only FSX and Xplane to FSX:SE, xplane, P3d, DTW FSXXXX, FS from aerofly. Not bad, considering that this is a small hobby! What is also interesting is that the cost of good addons is going up. No more 39.00 but inching to 99.99. We know, from price alone, that the good planes will cost us close to 100 and the "lite" ones will cost us around 30. Some exceptions, but I see the trend. I have been experiencing a problem for a while that has gotten worse lately. If I pause a flight to open a menu dialog box such as the map or save flight dialog box, once I close the dialog box to resume the flight, oftentimes, the graphics will not load properly. Some times no graphics load and there is just audio, while other times some textures load and others do not. This usually does not happen when loading a saved flight for the first time after loading FSX. The problem is more severe and frequent with more resource intensive aircraft than ones that don't demand as much computing power. Does the LWA map use the current navdata? E.g., in EDDF it shows the old runways and ILS frequencies as in the default FSX. 07C-25C and 18 are missing. I am a subscriber of Navigraph, and using the data manager I created a folder NAVIGRAPH/NAVDATA in the FSX (Steam Edition) directory for cycle 1607. I then browsed in the Flight Plan Options to this folder (Under FSX-SE Navdata Folder), and pressed "Reload". OpusFSI did create NAVDATA.DAT and WAYPOINTS.DAT anew. But the data in the LWA map (when clicking on an airport) are not the current ones. Thanks for your support Rene

Hi I have been a opus user since the beginning but have never tried to set up views on another monitor using a client pc what I'm trying to achieve is a front view and a left and right view I have tried this just using fsx but both the side views display a tilted horizon and I don't know if this can be corrected so I am hoping that opus camera views can solve this issue but I don't know how to set up the server and client pcs if this can be done please can you post a link on how to do this. Hi all, I need some help deciding on my next FSX purchase. I have been using the new early access version of AirHauler 2 which i'm really enjoying. I set up a small company based in Dutch Harbour, Unalaska, flying the awesome A2A Comanche. I now want to expand the range of my virtual company with a biz jet. I have never owned any biz jet addons for FSX so i'm not familiar with any of the current products on offer.
