I am having issues with FSX I've never encountered with FS9! I noticed some aircraft bodies disappearing (leaving just the cockpit window panes and blinking exterior lights) a few minutes after takeoff. The noise suggests the aircraft is still there. Does anyone know what is going on?

For those of you with SODE and the Imaginesim KATL having a jetway that is duplicated, I have the solution! Here are the steps: 1. Go to your FSX Folder through this directory: (Computer/(Operating System (C;))/Program Files (x86)/Microsoft Games/Microsoft Flight Simulator X/Imagine Simulation/KATL Atlanta 2016 FSX/Senery) 2. Search: jetway 3. Delete the only one 4. Launch FSX 5. Spawn In with Sode Activated @ KATL 6. Problem Solved! If anybody solved this a different way, don't be afraid to post it here! If anyone does not like this post, put these is a way that it would be better and post it in a new topic and message me.

Hello I just installed the Fsx Constellation professional, and am having a great time with the aircraft, I do however have one question. Are there any Repaints for the constellation? Especially Trans Canada air lines L-1049 Super constellation, This is really the airline and aircraft that I wish to repaint(since I like flying my flights from Canada), but I have searched a decent amount and haven't found anything on it either. I also installed the F-lite Dc-10 and was wondering if there was a repaint for Canadian Airlines in 1995 version for a Dc-10-30. I live half-way between EGHR and EGHI and it's been raining pretty much all day here with solid overcast. But the best ASN can do is few or broken clouds with no precipitation. I also tried Opus Live Weather and it's the same as ASN. That leads me to question how accurately these add-ons actually represent real weather. Any thoughts?

I was using PFE and had an ACARS ATIS on the brief screen of the kneeboard when FSX froze. Now when I fly the brief screen always shows the last ACARS ATIS transmission. How do I repair this file back to it's default? It is the nobrief.html file located in the Uires folder. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

So through http://www.aero.sors.fr/navint.html i have pasted on addon scenery the .bgl file of the area i want. Can you guys describe the installation process because when loadinG up fsx and trying to pick up fixes manually in the flight planner the fixes and intersections i want simple do not exist. For example in LEPA one departure calls for a fix named BAKAX @ 39º27´N 002º31´W, but is not there. I guess im doing something wrong.

Im installing a multimonitor setup and want to practice crm with my dad. Since one has to do one thing the other does another its either a couple of expensive overlay touchsceen kits or been able to use two mouse pointers with two different mouses. I have followed the tutorial and I have the dialogue box displayed which allows me to position the view,etc. however, how do I assign a keystroke to the new view? I have no option to do so. I reference the tutorial below. Hey, guys, Hope you can provide me some assistance. Recently, my desktop computer (the one on which I play Flight Simulator X) malfunctioned, and I just got a new computer yesterday. Although I had backed up all my flight simulator addons in advance, using this payware program called Edimensional FSX Backup, I am unable to get the "Restore" feature of my FSX Backup tool to work properly with reinstalling my addons. I have no idea what I am doing wrong. I would like to know if my flight simulator should be installed on my computer for this to work. This has happened multiple times. I do load fs plan at the beginning of the flight... flight goes fine... then when I get close ATC tells me to descend. So I do... then I get approach vectors... then I accept.. then thats it. No more instructions for that flight. The only instructions I get is to change towers when I get out of range... so I get no landing instructions. I just pass over the airport. I've tried everything I can think of to fix it. I end up giving up on a 3hr+ flight. Its happened at least 10 times. Don't tell me to get a 3rd party atc program. I don't have the money to spend. Also this happens with all my planes. Addon and default.

Im having some issues with this addon. 1.-I believe i have updated correctly the airac database since new stars and sids are now present, how can i check the airac on the fms and what page? 2.- When selecting an ils and activating approach phase the appropiate freq and final approach cpurse wont get set in the rad nav page. I have to set the freq myself along with the final approach course, in the real thing this doesnt happen and is automatically selected when approach phase is activated. 3.-In the windows configurator it will only let me change the pax load and cargo load,how can i change the fuel,load? 4.-I still havent practiced engine failures or …

OK, so admittedly I am VERY late getting to the FSX game, as I only just this year finally built a computer worthy of FSX and moved up from "9". I am able to run it with all my sliders maxed and still get reasonable frames (20 or better) at even the most-dense add-on airports with my iFly737 or MADDOG MD-80 with the help of all the FSX tweaks here in these forums (thanks, Nick). However, I am not able to get the animated jetways to "come to me"...EVER. I've searched all the forums and Google, of course, and many refer to making sure the aircraft.cfg has the proper coding...so I have back-tracked to trying the DEFAULT 737 at several DEFAULT airports, with no luck. As the banner says. Had quite a few users requesting moving jetways for the ONT2012X scenery for use with GSX etc. This version 3.1 removes the static jetways and adds FSX default jetways. The default jetways are not ideal but work quite well. I am still unable to work out how to get AES to work at my sceneries. I loved Captain Sim for awhile but about the time they released their 777 I decided I didn't like the company anymore. So I was wondering if there was a 757 or 767 out there that was as decently realistic as their model?

Hello everyone. I've just started using FXAA with FXA and I'm impressed. It has transformed my entire experience and I haven't got one single crash with it. I really love how it makes the nights more realistic, instead of the very bright nights of the default FSX. However, there is one thing that has been bothering me: city lights are only visible and bright at a very close distance. When you're approaching a big city or even flying over one at crusing altitude, you can barely see them. I was wondering if anyone who's been using FXAA would have a configuration that makes this better. Cheers Eduardo

I understand everything in the tutorial flight but how to taxi, how exactly do I get this airplane to turn while on the ground?

Just trying my second LOFT using 777 PMDG and I see no winds during cruise in the upper 300ies. When I try to load winds information into the FMC there's nothing either, as well as in the Descent page. The program seems to be configured accordingly and it even shows a P3D window thats shows it's downloading the information, a few moments after loading the rig. What could be wrong in here? Thanks!

I hear30 fps is smooth, have also read 20 GPS is good. Just wanted to know what is the minimum fps required for a smooth experience, without scenery lags etc. Thanks

I am interested in beautiful exterior appearances of the plane for sake of beauty of screenshots!!! I do not mind unimpressive cockpit panel as long as it flies REALISTIC and has GREAT exterior appearance. Why am I showing interest in VIRTUALCOL - DASH 8 SERIES X FSX P3D? Because I cannot find AMAZING HIGH QUALITY freeware Q100s and Q200s in Caribbean themed liveries and in Alaskan themed liveries. Thanks, Aharon

After installing airports from UK2000 I now appear randomly on this subject and completely different airports. The object disappears when I switch views in FSX, but it's annoying when I land somewhere and suddenly there I discover this. I tried to uninstall UK2000, but it did not help. Hi to all, many add-on airports do not only modify the airport afcad but also the surroundings of the airport. As I like using Orbx FTX and several orbx regions together with these airports, more than often tis looks ugly because the add-on airport sceneries do not blend seamlessly with the Orbx FTX scenery and often include ugly photorealistic patches around the airport fences which (as all photocenery) appear completely flat on the ground or from low altitudes. Sometimes you can identify the .bgl-files which modify the airport surroundings and you can simply switch them to off if you don't want the photoscenery around airports to show, but sometimes the add on airpo…
