I have installed many AI files from Avsim (American, Delta, United, JetBlue etc on my FSX-SE with no problem. I tried to install South West Airlines and I couldn't ever see any SW aircraft in any of the numerous airports I've selected including such airports such as Dallas-Ft. Worth, Atlanta, JFK, O'hare, Logan. When I try to reinstall South West I get a message telling me that "WOA-FAIB-FSX-B737-300-W-SWA Southwest Airlines Arizona one" or "Cal one" are missing. I have checked my AI files in my Airplanes folder and those files are present and have content. How can I get AI South West to load? roglav

Hi Folks, Relatively new to UT2 - but I've played with the interface a bunch - swapped out all the GA Traffic with better models... What's the deal with Daedalus ? Is it just a place holder for real airlines or just fluff to boost traffic ? If it represents real traffic - how do I figure out which models they should be replaced with ??? I still have minimal UT2 Commercial Traffic at airports - even when maxed - and almost none at payware addon airports - I'm guessing the AFCAD parking spaces don't jive ??? Any info appreciated... Hi! I am having problems starting the Nemeth Designs/MilViz Ch-47 Chinook . I have read through the manual to find out how to start this bird but it never seems to happen :( . The engines *DO* start-up but there is no rotation from the blades what-so-ever (Even with the ECL in GND Mode). Could someone please explain to me how to start-up this helicopter or any kind of tutorial would be appreciated! Kriss :t4012: .

As the title says, we are seeking people who are either in a flight demonstration team, or interested in putting one together. We are looking for 21 pilots in a single team that can be split into 3 groups, or 3 separate teams. That will perform at each stop, here is what we are thinking. one team start the flight from the beginning, and starting their performance at the second airport. the second team will join in the flight their, and proceed with up to the 3rd and the 3rd team at the last airoprt, where both demonstration teams will form up for the final demonstration. It's been ages since I've flown and I've noticed a consistency with my flying and about 18k it starts getting harder and harder o gain altitude even if it's within your aircrafts current highest altitude, so that's my question, is there a trick to gaining altitude faster?

I would have to say Active Sky Next. The biggest thing about ASN is that it has accurate cloud placement. This would mean that it would say at a specific GPS coordinate, there is a cloud of this type and weather it is producing precipitation or not. This is why PMDG is finally able to develop an accurate weather radar for FSX and P3D. ASN also has turbulence, windshear, and microbursts modeled which also has never been done before. The thing about ASN is that you'll need third party textures, or you are going to have to put up with the default textures in FSX/P3D.

I have WoA_AIA, AIG, FAIB and TFS files installed on FSX-SE. I would like to install "Traffic 360" and avoid any conflicts with the WoA Ai files presently on my FSX. Can I simply delete the WoA Ai files from my FSX.......\Sim Objects\Airplane folder? Thanks in advance! roglav

I've posted this to the iFly forums also, but I'm hoping for a bigger audience here. I have an issue which seems to be isolated to the iFly 737NG, but am still testing other aircraft to confirm it. After setting/releasing the parking brakes the first time, FSX will no longer recognize that the brake has been set. I get a momentary flash of the red 'Parking brake' message, but then it goes away and if the aircraft is running it will start to roll. The parking brake simply refuses to set. What is really odd is that the parking brake on the pedestal appears to functions normally. Meaning, that although FSX won't recognized the brake has been set, the brake on …

My C drive on which Windows 10 is installed plus other progs is also the drive on which Steam insisted on installing FSX (at least I didn't see any other option during the process). This C drive is 250GB and is now just over three quarters full so it has 49GB free. I'd like to move the 52GB of FSX to another 250GB drive that is almost empty which would leave the C drive with about 100GB free. If I uninstall FSX will Steam enable me to install it to my F drive? How do you uninstall in Steam? I'd appreciate any helpful suggestions. Thanks. Iain Smith

Hi all, one question that actually I eventually got some courage to ask. I fly mainly pmdg's 737,T3, 747 among other planes and always do autolands as this is the only way I know. I've tried a couple of times to land manually when I started flying and usually they were not very good. I went through the manuals, especially pmdg's and learned how to autoland nicely, so because the manuals don't teach manually landings, or at least I did not find anything there I only autolanded . What is the pratical difference between manual and autolanding? How's thet done? I'm talking about what is engaged, the settings and so on? T…

I've been using Microsoft Flight Simulator since 1984 when the Apple IIC version came out. After installing FSX a couple years ago I've been taking of and landing hundreds of time in my PMDG-747 with absolutely no problem. A couple weeks ago I installed the FSX-SE version and suddenly I'm missing all of my ILS approaches; each and every one is lining up the aircraft at the left of every airport in any condition of weather, it also show the route line in a slanted position in the navigation panel (it never align with the plane); even if I set wind manually to 0 knots and perfect conditions. New PC, did one install of base program, put in product ID, added FSX Acceleration, put in that product ID. Tested in my new machine, realized that I put into C drive and that I actually wanted on another separate drive. Did an uninstall. Then redid the install onto a "G" drive. Never asked for Product ID into, figured that it was still retained in the registry. Started the sim to test again, got error message saying not activated, 30 minutes until required to register. 30 minutes up, it shut down no registration window. Anyone know how to get the darn registered AGAIN! Bryan

I'm having a problem in which a small number of my aircraft are appearing under the wrong publisher. This seems to be occurring when I have aircraft of the same type, but by different publishers. For example, I have the payware Vickers Viscount 800 by Just Flight, but also a freeware Vickers Viscount 800 by Jens Kristensen ("JBK"). The latter appears under "JBK" as it should, but the Just Flight Viscount also appears under "JBK"! Yet when I open the aircraft configuration file for the Just Flight Viscount, there is a line for every livery that says "ui_createdby=Just Flight". Hey guys, i was wondering if any of you have missing textures "Holes" in places you have flown to? If so, do you know how to fix this?

Does anyone know any good scenery for OMAA. The default scenery in FSX is already outdated. I am looking for a decent scenery for the airport including the new runway in it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I was flying my PMDG 747 when all four engines failed right after take off for some unknown reason. That was a surprise but not the surprise that I'm about to mention. I did a quick 180 to make it back to the airport. I fell short on final and landed on some buildings. The plane burst into flames along with towering black smoke. I had no idea until now that TacPack would affect 3rd party aircraft. It was really neat to see a realistic crash, unlike what we see in just a FSX format.

I like flying between between bigger airports, or airports I know have ILS landings on every runway, (when I'm learning an aircraft, or practicing a technique) but beyond that, I've usually used my home airport and JFK, or MIA to JFK if I want a longer flight, I'm looking for better ideas for practice, I like those routes because there are no mountains to interfere and there's decent scenery along the way. Maybe someplace out west? Maybe Europe?

Because I have tracking data being passed directly to Opus instead of FSX, I would like to limit TrackIR to when I am in a virtual cockpit view only. I'd also like to be able to toggle TrackIR on and off through Opus. It seems to have that ability at least internally, but I couldn't find any setting to do it through Opus. I realize I can have TrackIR disabled for my custom views with Live camera, but I am not interested in that as I want to be able to switch from a default virtual cockpit view to spot without becoming sick. I am looking for the update for Imaginesims KATL 2012 version. I do not find it anywhere on their website and my Simmarket account only lists an installer but I am sure there was some update once available on their website. Does anyone have this? Thank you
