Hi Opus. I'm using OpusFSI 4.65.5 with Win10 64bit and P3DV3.2 with OpusPDK_v3.DLL enabled. I've only created VC views myself but it looks like OpusFSI is creating it's own Opus External View and Opus Aircraft View cameras which I really do not want to see. How can I remove these two views from the keyboard S key view cycling sequence? Thanks, gb..

Hi Stephen, You recommend to set the global texture resolution slider to very high, but in P3D V3 , I cannot find this slider. Is it the same then the combo box in "Image and texture Quality". What resolution is equivalent to very high ? There is only high and ultra.... nothing between. :smile: And also where is "advanced animation" to see wing flex ? Cheers Claude

Getting this message all of a sudden when firing up fsx-se. I need to click OK for fsx-se to continue loading Anyone have any ideas how to fix?

FSPS has released this product today, it seems pretty interesting and seems to have some effects that Accufeel seems to lack like ice accumulation, braking temperatures, friction with runway surface depending on amount of rainfall /snowfall... http://secure.simmarket.com/fsps-sim-physics-x.phtml I'm waiting for reviews of this, it has some price so I wish to see some experiences of actual users before buying it.

I have searched far and wide..on the forums..and not able to locate my question: Why are these Project Airbus models (A318, A319, A320, A321)((FS9 for use in FSX)) refusing to gain speed and take off? I set my realism to easy...and used the default panel from 737-800 in fsx I have attempted to reconfigure aircraft.cfg..set fuel to "0" nothing is working... If i attempt to configure aircraft.cfg..the plane does not show up... Anyway..I'm stumped... If anyone remembers what a workaround was...feel free to share..if you get time.. thank you in advance.. From a short time on market we can buy Taburet Night 3D series, from some time Aerosoft Night Environment series and of course ORBX FTX Global/Vector/LC products. Anyone test all of them? If I'm not wrong all producers until now cover Norway (ORBX by default, Taburet and Aerosoft by dedicated editions) and this is a battlefield where someone could compare this products. Any owners-volunteers?

Bonjour, I started to use OPUSFSI with P3D, and reading the documentation I can see that it is possible to launch the FSIServer as with FSX, using the exec.xml file. But in P3D recommendations it is written "You cannot start OpusFSI until P3D has loaded its flight, or a prepared Default flight". It seems to me that the recommendation is in contradiction with the automatic start using the exec.xml. May Stephen you could enlighten me. Cheers Claude

I never really looked at getting ORBX Vector or ORBX Europe Lc because i fly fast and high. Can i buy Europe LC and then add Vector at a later date or will this muck things up? After being away from simming for a few months months Im back soon and need to make a decision between the two. The head set I like is this one with great reviews (razmat tiamat 7.1) http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2402985,00.asp Around $180 and I'm pretty sure a good set of pc speakers would be double that What would be the benefits of choosing one over the other?

Anyone else experiencing frequent reloads of air,land and sea traffic, like when we first start fsx flight. I am running steam version of FSX, Orbx scenery, payware airports, such as Flifgtbeam, and others. Weather is Active sky Next, and I run Electronic Flight Bag. One thing I notice is when all is started except for EFB, then when I do start EFB, scenery will reload. Fortunately, flight continues as normal. I just flew from KATL to KDEN, and as I got closer to Denver, I got like 3 reloads. Any suggestions? Thanks S. Sumner

Hey i normally fly A2A C172 or PMDG aircraft but nothing inbetween. So therefore i need your opinions on a versatile GA/business jet. And mention if it has Garmin G1000 or not cause i'm in the middle on whether i like it. Opinions on Flight 1 King Air? I'm gradually getting FSX set up on my new computer build and I've reached the point where I'm ready to start fine-tuning, including using Nvidia Inspector. I downloaded the latest version as of a couple of days ago. All of the Nvidia Inspector guides I've found online state to select the "MS Flight Simulator X" profile from the drop down. However, this doesn't exist in my drop down list. I do see a profile for "Micorsoft Flight Simulator 10." I'm assuming this is the right one but I just wanted to make sure. I'm running the latest drivers from Nvidia on a GTX 970. Regards, Corey

I'm a newbie to the list here. Been about 10 years since I flight simmed with the original FSX. I need a recommendation. I've got an old computer upstairs in my game room that I want to load with some type of Microsoft Flight Sim for occasional use. From what reading I have done, I see that flight sim has changed a great deal since I was active 10 years ago. So I need a recommendation for a program to take full advantage of this older computer's resources, without over taxing it. After I get comfortable with flying again I want to bring my PMDG MD-11 out of the hangar but I want to use semi realistic routes, what it would have done for passengers. I'm not above doing a UPS or FED EX flight.

Hi Avsim! I have been experiencing a weird bug recently that has started to really annoy me. Whenever I've been flying my fighter jets (aircraft with Tacpack enabled), I have gotten this weird bucking action without any steering input where my vertical speed would be all over the place at times, to the point where the pilot would be seeing red from all the negative g's the aircraft was pulling. Apart from being very irritating, it affects my aim. I also have accufeel and Active Sky Next running, although I have tried running without both and the problem still persists. Any ideas? Thank you!

These charts are outdated but IVAO Canada do point out these charts can be used in sims and they appear to be relevant to at least stock FSX. 1. Set any weather theme unless using AI Aircraft? I have no idea what AI aircraft means. 2. My configuration page does not save changes. I no longer use track ir but the tick boxes are always checked when I go back to the page, and I receive an annoying dos page that keeps pinging and looking for track ir. Hello, Im back today with another problem, remember yesterday i downloaded he maddog from the maddog website (launcher 184Mo) to install it on my new SSD but i don't install it finaly i leaved my computer for some reason. Today happy to install it, i execute the maddog launcher and after choose the location for install i have this error "Installation required file missing" when i click next.So i go to the maddog website but im not registered yet cause of manual accept of admins.I see on their forum a guy which encountered the same problem but i relly don't understant very well the issue. http://www.flythemaddog.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=8528

On my flight today FACT-EGLL with PMDG777-300ER under P3Dv£.2, I had accepted that I would have little weather over Africa. But on crossing the Algerian coast into The Mediterranean, I tried to stop OpusFSI. On stopping the program, the 777 obviously continued to run because the radar scan of the terrain was still active. But no other action was possible - no sound, no head movement, no view changes possible. Only when I restarted OpusFSI did I recover control of the aircraft. During all of this, no weather was displayed. Help needed!
