I had high hopes that the issues with the ES Citation X were resolved after installing and seeing the product load. But, it was later when I tried to load the product again that issues reappeared. First I though it was a problem loading the aircraft after another when the FMS and flight displays were non responsive. Sometimes loading the product would fix some issues while others remained. Ultimately the product was unusable. I attempted a full reboot and loading clean in FSX:SE and the issue of stuttering returned. I tried a couple of times but in each case as soon as the sim attempted the load stuttering appeared as the bar slowly tracked to 100% then once in the sim ev…

Tried to install FSX Gold edition on OS Windows 10 and when I installed disk it started the prepare to install process then stopped and I got an error "1628 failed to complete installation" ? Any help on this will be appreciated.

I was trying to find in Google if it's recommended to install FSX on the main C: drive (the SSD with the operating system) but couldn't find a clear answer to that (BTW, I know that it is recommended to install FSX on its own directory and not in the program files directory). Hi to all, can anybody of you confirm that MSI Afterburner and/or EVGA Precision Frame Rate Limiters work in windowed FSX DX10 mode and using Reshade/SweetFSX on an NVidia Card? I have learned that these limiters have a problem with overlays such as a sweetfx but there is an option "Enable compatibility with modified direct 3D libraries" which can be ticked in order to use these limiters successfully with FSX and sweetx. But for me this doesn't work. It seems that the OSD display cannot be shown in FSX because when I run any of the two limiters before starting FSX I get the error message "Error 28-unable to install message filter". Hello everyone. I'm posting a problem regarding the boundary placement issue in FSX. First of all, I wanted to edit the FSX flight map/GPS country boundaries so that they could reflect the current ones. The site I used for downloading the data was GADM. Then I used the ArcGis's ArcMap for editing the vertices and placing them on the map, but I haven't changed the initial projection. The BGLComp showed no problems, everything runs well, but... When I go to Edit section of Flight Planner, everything seems to be shifted slightly to the left. I really don't know what causes the problem, could it be because of the wrong projection, or the data quality isn't good? Addons …

Hello, i recently jumped onto purchasing a Saitek quadrant, my only problem is if i have the throttle on idle and move a little forward the simulator sees this as me using the trottle to around 75% when in fact ive hardly moved it. it feels like it just spikes to far forward. is there a fix for this?. many thanks.

Hello pilots! I fly with proatcx, but it does not really separate traffic in the air - Because of this I often run into TCAS warnings (descent descent, climb....) which is very annoying on landings and takeoffs. I dont want to switch off AI completely. Is anyone aware of a "delete AI around you" tool which I can use in such situations? Or any other tool like this? Thank you very much!

I am currently flying a QualityWings 757, although this probably applies to other vendors/models as well. During the flight the aircraft controls the throttle and therefore throttle position. For obvious reasons, these movements do not transfer to my Saitek throttle quadrant. Therefore, when I switch off the A/P and A/T for a hands-on landing my Saitek throttle is at full on position. This doesn't seem to be an issue as long as I don't touch it, but because I need to, there is a burst of speed when I first move it. Once I pull the throttle back far enough the burst disappears, but it is really a guess at what point it needs to come back to match, or slightly lower my…

Hi all- Installed OPUS a few days ago and am slowly working thru all the options. Started a flight last night, KSTS > KTVL, and wanted to know weather conditions at KTVL. From the menu bar > Addons > Weather report opens a window on screen where I can check. When I right click to close that window, it keeps reappearing. What's the trick Thanks, Mark

Hi all need a little help in the right direction. I've not been on fsx for a while but needde to try something on it and have found another problem. Every aircraft I have in FSX the virtual cockpits are missing,I guess i've turned something off but I have no idea what as it has been a while since I have been on it. I'm also running ezdok,but that was never an issue before does anyone have an idea what Ihave turned off !!!? Cheers

Hi All, Well, I am excited to advise that my latest Autogen Scenery for entire New Zealand has been released. Version 2.0. Many improvements over the previous version have been achieved. Higher accuracy of vegetation, roads and tracks now cutting through vegetation, overall higher variation of vegetation and enhancements to the building autogen. I used to have a couple of places to get new routes from, but now I've no idea it's been awhile since I've flown with any frequency and would like at least realistic destinations.

Searching for remedy for the following problem from the avsim community Lately I have spend many hours searching for info through the forum and some of the technicians on getting the pdmg 777 to work correct and it was accomplished plus working superb however, since yesterday morning I have encountered a new problem that I'm not sure if its a FSX or PDMG to consult with; 1. I've had blurry ground textures for about a year now. I'm not sure what is causing them. When I start my flight the textures are generally good but by the time I get to my destination they are blurry. See attached image of the blurriness levels. This happens with any plane at any location.

Are there any XB-70 Valkyrie aircraft for FSX which work correctly? What I mean is, I downloaded a very nice freeware one, but it doesn't work as it should: The afterburners are not triggered by a throttle setting, the flame effect is triggered by pressing L for lights, and the most glaring issue is the fact that the folding wingtips are linked to flap position. The wingtips are down when the plane is sitting on the tarmac and only go horizontal when the canard flaps are deployed. The cockpit panel and aircraft model itself is great, but alas it's spoiled by the incorrect mechanics. I believe there was an XB-70 produced by Wingsware, but that it seems to be no longer …

I have built a new computer, installed Win 10 and P3D V3.2. I have downloaded and installed OPUSFSI latest Beta but when I try to setup the OpusFSI Server Program I always get "System.TypeInitializationException: The type initializer for "d" threw an exception. ....>System.IO.FileNotFoundException: The specific module could not be found. ...." I thought maybe as this was probably and upgrade to FSI from Opus that I needed to reinstall Opus. So I downloaded it but get the same error when I try to open Opus. Can anyone help me? I'm running FSX on DX10, and I'd like to fly in the Vietnam War Project setting, the concept sounds fabulous. But it looks extraordinarily daunting to install. Is it a difficult set of files to work with? There seem to be many different 'packages' and although I am OK with most scenery add-ons, this seems like a recipe for disaster on my part. Has anybody got any experience with this? Advice appreciated...!
