Hi, I'm trying to add a parking sound to an Alabeo aircraft, but cannot see any location or wav file for any parking brake effect, either in FSX/Sounds or in any add-on aircraft, even though I know that an aircraft, like the Flight 1 BN-2 Islander has its own distinctive brake sound. Where might this sound be found?? I can't see it listed in any of my plane's sound.cfg files, either.

Hello, I recently bought EzDok and had a few issues with it to start with however I did a re-install and everything was ok. Today on a flight from EGSS to EDDW my Ezdok keys stopped working but i could still move my mouse. The keys worked when I opened the ezdok window though but i couldnt move in the sim. I reinstalled and everything seemed to be ok. But just now it has happened again! I am on FSX (boxed) and i'm using EzDok version 1.18.7

I seem to have inadvertent associated an incorrect App in Windows 10 with a *.air file, e,g B737.air. What is the correct file association to edit an *.air file?

Is it actually possible to make FSX (Steam Edition) to play in the background without having at least 2 monitors?

Hi, I can't get the MFD to show radio stack on my x52 pro. I've downloaded the plugin and checked the exe.xml file if all the entries are there. Even with everything as it should be and "SaiFlightSimX.exe" running when I start up the sim my MFD is still not showing radio stacks. I've also tried stopping and re enabling Saitek DirectOutput service.

How do I get a full screen view. Don't have an idea and am stuck. Thankx Dan

I used to have an autopilot gauge that enabled you to change the aircraft heading on the gauge itself with a knob. Does anyone know where I can find this gauge? I lost mine a while ago. Many thanks John

I have used the PMDG 777 since it first arrived and love it. One thing I have always appreciated is to be able to pan right around the cockpit with the spacebar/mouse combo. You can actually see the signed certificates on the back wall of the cockpit. I do not have EZDOK or FSUIPC. Just recently my mouse pan seems limited to only 90 degrees - no longer able to see the flight attendants in the jump seats. I have used the NVidia Inspector to improve my displays, but I don't think it is anything with that (but you wouldn't know) but apart from that I am at a loss to find anything on the internet dealing with this problem. I'm eyeing Orbx Tapini scenery but have the A2A Cessna 172 not any of their other airplanes. Is the C172 capable of flying in and out of the small bush airports in the Orbx Tapini package? Sorry if this is a stupid question! I see the C182 does fly in real life for a missionary outfit but am not sure if the C172 is capable.

Hi- Does anyone have the Dash8 working correctly in 3.1? I bought and installed it late last night and discovered no rudder control. my Saitek pedals don't even appear in the Controls section of P3D. Thanks, Mark

I am trying to merge the SkySpirit2013 777-9X outside model with the Posky 777 Virtual cockpit with the jb777 panel, but no matter what, it just doesn't seem to work. Basically, I am taking Posky's VC textures and panels, plus the jb777 panels, and putting them in my 777-9X folder. I applied fixes to the aircraft.cfg, panel.cfg and whatnot, but still no VC. Can anyone help?

I have the Duke V2 in FSX Acceleration and even when I turn off the avionics and battery the airplane is still on. I can hear the atc from the radios and the battery eventually dies because it is taking energy. I emailed Realair and they told me to live with it and "reload the aircraft" which to me isn't a solution. So does anyone know a fix? I am using the RealityXP avionics package I don't know if that is the reason it doesn't work right. Thank you.

Can the control column be moved or hidden on the 767. It covers a lot of the panel. CJ

I saw a post on a forum once, where there was a tutorial how to put a little landing aid on the screen, this was just a little blue dot placed on the windscreen to help you line up for landing. Does anyone know how to accomplish this? Many thanks John

I'm experiencing a rather than annoying issue, I was wondering if anyone else has seen this before and what are your suggestion. The sky textures during the night time are not loading... If I commence a free flight and set a night time (where night sky textures need to be rendered), the game will ctd with the so hated message "A fatal error has occured". If I set any other time than night and then change it to night in-game, weirdly, it won't crash but instead, everything will be dark except for the sky textures, which will just remain the same with the time I had set before. (I had set 11:00am, the sky would be like 11:00am, but everything else, including the scen…

Hey everyone, my PMDG 744 developed a strange problem recently: sometimes, under conditions unknown to me, the engines restart in mid-cruise, combined with a "max FL2XX" - type message, and "check alt tgt" on the fmc. While this problem would be bearable, it has a nasty side effect: VNAV gets disconnected until I press the VNAV button again, leaving the airplane without A/T control. When I am afk and won't press VNAV again, the airplane will eventually overspeed or stall, depending on manual throttle setting. anyone else experienced that?

Does anyone know if the oxygen switch and the alt air gauge can be configured either through default FSX control setting or FSUIPC to assign to Saitek Yoke buttons. Would be nicer to control the Legacy gauges and switches with the Saitek panel rather than the mouse. Thanks Mike

Hello, For some reason I can't get v1.18.7 working for me. Error massage appears saying check for registered components. I bought Ezdok some time ago and was running fine with the 1.17 update. But on the flight1 page where you download the product It only has v1.18.7 there. So I'd like to download the 1.15 base package exe again and just update to 1.17 but where can I find v1.15 again? I'm using FSX gold with Acceleration W7-64Bit Thanks for any help. George.

Hi, I am in the process of uninstalling my current FSX and Addons to make way for steam. Several Addons aren't in the Windows 10 uninstall list and don't even have an uninstall option in the program itself so I had to manually uninstall what I could. I have heard that registry cleaners will make sure you remove all remnants. One recommended was Wise Cleaner. I also read that they can also delete your good files. Is it still a good idea to use a cleaner to make way for FSX Steam? Thanks. Tom

Are there any third party payware addons that can simulate the first officer duties for PMDG aircraft? Or even setup completely and fly the route if I'm feeling lazy, and also learn at the same time? Thanks for any help. Keith.

Recently purchased the Blackbox A320/A321 xtreme prologue package, but there still appear to be a number of minor bugs with this aircraft. Does anyone know the status of this development, since the last news entry on their website was last Dec.2015 and the technical support forum/community is extremely quiet with no responses to questions? I am concerned that I may have wasted my money and that final development of this product has stopped. Thanks Stuart

Old post I know but I only installed this recently and was experiencing the same issue. Thanks to mstreibig, I need not experiment with values and can just plug in your numbers. Should anyone come across this post and find it useful, I'll add something to it. While editing the config, go ahead and change the default vertical speed value from 2500 to something a little easier to work with.
