Just wondering if anyone has this scenery and cares to comment on the quality. I find it rather odd that this scenery has been out for some time now but I can't seem to find any review, not even a brief review. Since its release, Tropicalsim has not included this during their usual sales, but now it has finally been included and is available at 30% off. I do have a fair amount of their airports and find them to be fairly good (some better than others). Thanks in advance. Cheers, Pete

hello i have hard problems to control the dash when TO and landing, the ailerons, mostly they but also the elevator controls are horrible sensitive and makes the landing almost impossible. i already tried the simulator control adjustment and the majestic control panel, without succes. is there any recommandation, how to reduce the sensitivity ? now, the ailerons are extremly moving left and right end point and i cant land it propper. what should i set for sensitivity range numbers ? using the pilot edition able to use full fsuipc as requiered what is my fault ? thanks

Hi Guys, I'm having the same issue - that is that the "Addon Scenery" listing is no longer in my Scenery Library. I noticed in N60JBravo's comment to Surley Bonds that he had deactivated the bgl files in \FSX\Addon Scenery\scenery. I recently downloaded a scenery file for "the Great Tennessee Airshow" (which only has a bgl file in it). I copied and pasted the bgl in my \FSX Addon Scenery\scenery file but when I go to the airport, the scenery hasn't changed from the default FSX scenery. Is that possibly because I too have deactivated the bgl files in \FSX\Addon Scenery\scenery? If so, how do I reactivate the bgl files and get the "Addon Scenery" listing back in my Sce…

Apologies to bump an old thread. I am struggling to decide between ASN and FSGRW. My criteria is simple installation, inject weather into my FSX PC from a second PC, which has widefs Installed. I have not configured simconnect before and I dread the complication and config issues I have seen on the forums. So I prefer the ease of installation of just installing the product on my second PC and not touching my fsx PC. I currently use FSRealWX Lite, which works OK, but is not supported anymore. I have REX soft clouds installed, now the missing piece is a good weather engine. My specs are in the signature below. Thanks

I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to scenery - once a mesh is installed would any scenery/textures automatically be applied to that mesh - other textures etc.? I've just installed the freeware photoreal scenery by Alberto Sanchez. When on the ground at Tenerife North there doesn't appear to be any markings apart from the runway ones. The apron texture is there as are the yellow taxiway signs but no taxiway centrelines at all. If I were to install another tenerife north airport (just an airport) at a higher priority than Alberto's scenery, would it show up OK or would it disappear or interfere? the photoreal scenery has a different mesh I think. I have been searching to try to find an answer to this issue but it seems that the problem that I am experiencing may be one that is rare. First off, I have no crashes to desktop, my system is running fine and FSX is running fine. My issue is when I go to the Learning Center via the FSX opening screen menu, the Learning Center screen is blank. I can move my mouse cursor around the blank portion of the screen and see the cursor change from an arrow to a hand, but, everything is still blank. I am trying to be able to insert victims for rescue missions. I went ahead and moved the files from the MISC folder into the BOAT folder in the SimObjects. I went online and copied the info into the AIcarrier.cfg file and I am unable to find them in the drop box when I hit shift J. It only gives me the ships to input. Can someone please help so I can use the objects to practice helicopter SAR? Hey I am fairly new to FSX and have played about 150 hours most of those hours being with the default 737-800 and I was wondering if there is any payware out there that upgrades the panels, exterior and aesthetics of the aircraft without adding any of the complexity that comes with payware such as iFly or PMDG. I'm using Airbus X Extended with EZDOK and the first thing that is disturbing is the mouse button to roll that for EZDOK serves to Zoom, and Airbus serves to set the knobs. Anyone know how to clear this. If I disable the zooming, I can turn the knobs but it is not convenient.

Hi, I just wanted to ask if there's a Program which is similar to Real Terra Haze (X-Plane only) for FSX. I already read some topics about the same question but does Active Sky Next and Mogwaisoft fsx shade really help ? I already use REX 4 Texture Direct and Reshade FX, but I couldn't get the blue Effect like the one of Real Terra Haze yet. I have bought a new NCIX gaming PC build. I am reinstalling a new FSX setup and parallel P3Dv3. I have REX Essentials + OD. I just bought REX4 with Soft Clouds. I started to install REX4 with Soft Clouds but figured I better do some reading and research first. Now I'm really wondering what the heck to do. Should I install the REX4 with Soft Clouds AND REX essentials + OD together. Using REX4 textures and Essentials + OD as the weather engine? Or from other users experience....should I get another weather engine to drive the REX4 with Soft Clouds? You folks got a recommendation or two for me? I would really appreciate it. cheers Bryan

Has anyone using the A320 noticed this ? When climbing to FL360 and higher in managed mode - the mcdu (according to the cost index will give you a climb speed of say 300/.76. The plane climbs at 300KIAS but at mach crossover, the speed steadily increases to M .779 but at cruise altitude will settle back at M .76 Cheers Trevor

I've been out of the civilian sim world since mid-2015, due to a confluence of factors. I recently rebuilt my gaming PC for an upcoming Oculus Rift delivery, and I'm anxious to get FSX and P3D up and running again. I have a ton of legacy commercial and free planes, scenery, utilities, etc. and I own both the original MS FSX Deluxe edition and FSX Steam Edition, plus P3D. So here are the questions: Should I install the MS FSX version, or the Steam version? When I last left things, there were occasional quirks with the Steam Edition and some add-ons, but at the same time, the developers were actively improving the sim. FSX SE was no problem for a few months now suddenly it will not start. It keeps telling me failed to connect with simconnect I have also been told I will need to reinstall Steam and delete any add-ons. Surely his cannot be true with Steam

The only way I know of making FSX be the right time when I start up, is move it to my home airport and then to the airport I want to fly, is there an easier way of doing this?

Hello all, I'm posting the question here because after a good bit of time spend googling this issue, I'm still confused. What I'm wondering: is there any online group conducting networked (VATSIM, IVAO etc) realistic carrier ops with ATC / CATCC? Training exercises / weapons use would be a fun bonus, but I'm more looking for realistic flight procedures than blowing stuff up. I find several upstart threads about this on the VATSIM boards going back years, but none look active now? How about VUSN? So I got GSX about 3 hours ago, I just activated it and restarted FSX. One problem, it still says i'm in trial mode. When I press Ctrl + Shift + F12 it gives me the trial airports but I bought GSX so I can do any airport. Any ideas?

I have the 2D MIP dragged to a second monitor and I the main screen dedicated to the outside view only. The problem I have now is having to right click to select overhead-pedestal etc and also the VC to view the TQ. Can Opus assist me in dedicating keyboard strokes to bring up these panels quickly?

I have a friend who has WIN10 and FSX SP1 installed in C:\ (not in Programs (86). The Produt ID is 61355. He cannot install SP2. He gets a message "product is corrupt contact support personnel". He has downloaded the SP2 installer from 3 locations including Micrsoft. He has tried contacting Microsoft with no help. He has uninstalled FSX and reinstalled it and SP1. He has tried installing SP2 as Administrator and with his anti-virus and UAC off. He has visited many other Forums with no help.
