Maddog MD80 FMC and SIDs STARs Anyone happen to know if Maddog (Maddog2008) MD80 FMC works with Navigraph's current Navdata cycle. Actually MADDOG is using PMDG's Navigraph Navdata as far as I can tell. That is what I tried. For Maddog (FS9) I get e.g. KDTW is Not found in database. For Maddog (FSX) I get a CTD wnen e.g. selecting KDEN sid or destination KDFW airport. BTW, I cannot use there forum .... The forum requires pre approval from the developer / administrator before posting .. I have not received a reply for a long time.

Hi It's my second day with this amazing aircraft but I'm lost. I'm used to 737 procedures so I might be misunderstanding something here. I am on ground, connected to GPU. I request pushback, GPU gets disconnected and IMO I should go dark in that very moment as I have no APU running, but I don't go dark, everything still runs and I'm able to start my engines. As this is not a jet (wow what a discovery ) does it mean I don't need APU during engine start and it's just done on battery or what? Reality XP FLN and GNS530 crashes FSX STEAM.... I just flying again after a couple of years..I followed directions and completely eliminated previous FSX sp1 sp2 Acceleration etc etc. Installed FSX STEAM on a clean SSD 250gig boot drive along with windows 7 got ALL my add ons back in hangar. My beloved Z77 board had an unfortunate accident and I have moved up to the Kabylake Intel 1151 z270 motherboard and Kabylake I5 CPU. I have managed to get my Windows 7 ssd to install the new drivers, keeping my installed updates, apps and data. However I am having a problem with FSX. It finds my graphics card (Nvidia 1050 excellent on the z77) unsuitable in all compatibility modes. On FSX start up the display does not change modes as it did with the Z77 setup. The MS/Intel/Trump/etc consortium have done a good job of alienating a lot of us from them!. Any enlightenment would be welcome!

I need some advice I have a several good monitors on my system and a 980ti card fsx -se. My biggest issue is that in the vc when i move the image of the cockpit out a bit .(.ie move back or zoom out) so i can see more of the cockpit the gauges start to get fuzzy. I really need them to be sharp and clear .... When i bring everything close I can generally read them but then i really cant see the balance of the controls. BTW some aircraft are better then others. Im running very high settings in the vc, and have tired everything . I tried this with a 4k monitor and it did not help . it must have to do with the textures that were built for a particular zoom ( n…

Hi there, this is my first post, hope I'm ok posting here, Just wondering if anybody knows any more about the CLS Airbus A380. It's been in development since 2014 and nothing else has been mentioned apart from 'we need access to a A380 Cockpit to make a high quality VC', but that was in 2014 too. I'm hoping it is still under development, though my fear, is that it will go like the Level-D 757.

Hi all, I got a new PC (running Windows 10) and isntalled FSX again from the very beggining. After taht, I downloaded and installed several AI aircrafts qwithout problems. Everyone is working well. The I realized that I have a problem with all the TFS Dash models. They are flying in circles on their own axis and they crashed when they landed. Has anyone saw the same strange behavior for this type of airplanes (they were flying well in my previous Windows & FSX installation). Any advice will be welcome! I have the iFly 747 v2 and everything is fine except for one thing: every time I load my plane with fuel (using the config. tool), I get everything ready and then just as I am about to be pushed back, the plane drops all its fuel and shows empty and the APU stops working and I have to re load and start again, then all is fine. A few days ago I noticed that the grass runway textures on my default FSX airfields had changed to what look like dirt runways of a buff / pale brown colour! This is just didn't look at all correct on the British grass airfield where I landed and when I randomly checked various default airfields with grass runways in other parts of the world, the same 'dirt' textures were present. My addon payware airfields however, such as those from Orbx, were not affected. I'm not sure why this change occurred or when as I hadn't flown into a default airfield with a grass runway for some months but presumably a texture file was changed by some addon. Hi, Needsome advice and guidance. My specs are in my signature. I get smooth 20fps. I have 8 SGSS in NVI, 8x in Steve's Fixer on native 2560x1080 resolution powered by ASUS Strix GTX 970. I keep reading I can enable DSR 1.5 and turn off AAin NVI and Steve's fixer and gt the same image. Will it improve my fps ?. Thanks

How many of you have hyperthreading on in your BIOS, and what are your performance results in FSX? I ask because I've always had it off because I was under the impression FSX did not support its use...until recently. I installed PREPAR3D V4 yesterday, and was perplexed at how I was only getting frames with default settings at between 15-24 FPS on a I7 4790K @ 4.9 Ghz w/ 16 GB DDR3 RAM, and (2) 1080 GTX's. I posted and through a lengthy discussion someone asked if hyperthreading was on or off. I turned it on and immediately, I saw my frames jump to about 100+. I was concerned with how FSX would be effected by hyperthreading, so I went in and started with the PMD…

I'd have asked this on the FSdreamteam forums, but I can't access them for some reason (it keeps saying it can't connect to the database) so I'll ask here: I have (purchased) GSX, and am planning to purchase their DFW scenery (it's gorgeous!) but with the trial version I can't seem to access the GSX commands. When I press the shortcut keys, nothing happens. I can access the DFW scenery commands, but nothing for ground services (deboarding, catering, etc..) Is this because it's the trial version? Or am I having some other issue?

After I upgraded from WIN 7 to WIN 10 i now have numbers missing from radio stack and Autopilot. This in Project Airbus and default Boeings.

FSX boxed version in Win 10 on really good gaming desktop. Now the question- Anyone know how to make the radio stack work in default aircraft before engine start? I've turned on the master battery switch, but no joy. I'd like to get clearance before push back (use GSX) and before starting engines, works ok in add on A/C like Project Airbus....help?

Hi, For those that have used either over a network, I have a couple questions. 1. Will I have any performance issues if I run these on a somewhat older netbook? I know both have a minimal impact when run on the same system as FSX, but I'm not sure if the Ultrabook will handle the load. 2. For ProATCX, does the sound come from the FSX computer or the computer ProATCX is loaded on? I read that people like the ability to separate ATC sounds from their FSX sounds. I need everything to come from one system, because I fly with headphones (no external speakers). Thanks!

Good Day All, I love flying this aircraft but no matter how I set up the cabin pressurization system I keep killing all the pax. Is there anyone out there who can please help me with the set up of the cabin air on this aircraft? I have read all the info I can find on the net but nothing seems to work. Hi again. I set up a few VC camera views in OpusFSI V5 and they all work fine until I use the "S" key to access P3DV4's default views. After pressing the keyboard S key or a JS button assigned to the S key (FSUICP) none of my JS Opus assigned views will show. Also they will not show by clicking on a view listed in the Opus Camera Setup/Edit window. Only way to get the Opus camera views to show in game again is to reboot the computer. They will then work until I press the S key again. Problem seems 100% repeatable at the moment. I'm using Win10, P3DV4, paid FSUICP and LINDA. Thanks, gb.

I've successfully completed the re-installation of FSX via disks 1 and 2. The product was successfully activated for my computer (I got the option to input the product key). The problem occurs when I try to install the Acceleration disk (I might add that the option to input the product key for the acceleration disk was not seen). Hello, has there not been a FSUIPC forum here? Anyway: I created two profiles in FSUIPC for the NGX and the PMDG 777. I also have selected that I need assign everytime a profile for a certain aircraft. So, if I load the triple seven, go to FSUIPC and load the B777 profile into FSUIPC (Button&Switches, Key presses and axis assignments. It loads everything, when I re-enter FSUIPC the crosses that signalizes that the profile is checked are not anymore there. I need to reload the profile. I guess that causes problems with my hardware. Is there a way FSUIPC remembers that aircraft with the assigned profile?

Hello! A few years I bought Earth Simulations Guernsey before they shut down, It was working fine on FSX Accelaration but when I converted to FSXSE I lost it. The installer is still on my PC and I still have the email regarding the serial number. I've tried to active it but it is not working. Is there anyway to fix this? Thanks in advance

I am having a problem with VAT-SPY that is driving me insane. It simply won't launch! Every time I try to launch VATSPY the program never opens. When I right-click to run as administrator I get the normal Windows pop-up asking if I want to run it, when I click YES I get the little blue circle next to the pointer, but nothing happens after that. I have uninstalled through the control panel, deleted the VAT-SPY folder from the Appdata/roaming folder and done a fresh install with a brand new download from the website and still have the same problem. I checked both Windows Firewall and Malwarebytes and there is nothing that I see in those two applications that would…
