Not being home for few weeks, i turned my computer off. Now back, my FS freezes, my throttle quadrant was messed up. (fixed) but FS still freezes. Any idea? Thank you very much.

I've search this forum and FS Commander forum looking for an answer on how to make this work. for a dummy. A detailed explanation would be most helpful. I have the current version 9.6 of FSC and current google Earth. FSC gives me this message when I select show position in google earth " The folder of Google Earth does not meet the expectations of the operating system" My OS is Windows 7/64. The FSC Ini file has the correct path to Google Earth FSC and FSX are both run as Administrator. Is there something in GE I need to do? Should it also be running? help would be greatly appreciated. Hello. I started a flight from the most southern airport in Argentina (I don't remember the name or icao) to Base Marimbio (SAWB) with the A2A comanche. at the time I reached my cruising altitude the view started zooming randomly in the VC. Over a minute or two this got worse until the screen became completely black. The outside and the tower views worked fine, but when I swithed back to the VC the screen became black again and I couldn't see anything. I've tried this with other aircraft and everytime when I let it cruise for a while without doing anything the same happens. This makes me feel frustrated because I can't do long(ish) flights. Hi All, It's my first time asking on a question here, I am somehow new to the FSX world. Sorry if I posted in the wrong section but I don't think this qualifies as hardware. Getting down to business, so there are millions of videos and forms about how to tweak your FSX and Nvidia card settings to the high FPS. Most of which limit the video card or CPU to increase frame rate. I just built a new computer 4790K, OC to 4.7 ghz, 16GB @2400 ram, Nvidia Titan X card (12GB). So I went to one of these "Tweak Videos" and followed the instructions then launched FSX SE, to my surprise I got FPS: 25 to 30 and when looking around the PMDG 777 VC, it can drop down to 8 FPS! …

I purchased the SXAD airport KBNA. I knew it came without any functional gates and AES doesn't cover it yet. I'm not a scenery designer though used the simple program back with fs9. Is there any way to add gates to this scenery. Cant understand why SXAD didn't just use at least the default ones. I know ORBX doesn't have functional gates for some of their airports either. KBNA is a mid level design without FSDT standards but nothing else is out there. Wondering if I could just substitute the gate .bgl file in the scenery with the default one from fsx. Appreciate any input.

Hey all, The other day I installed KATL and KLGA from Imaginesim, and I can't get the jetways to work. This is my first time using SODE jetways (I've been using Flightbeam's airports which still use Ctrl-J). Anyways, I can't find at all how to use them and GSX doesn't acknowledge that the jetways are there because it brings me stairs to both the front and back doors. FS2Crew doesn't operate them either when I run the preflight events. When I look at the SODE menu in FSX, all it says is "Test DLL connection" and when I click on that it displays a message that says "SODE up and running." Any idea what might be going on?

Hello everyone, today I got the Majestic Q400 Pro Edition and it is amazing, but I got a problem during the takeoff roll of the second flight. During the takeoff roll, I set the thrust to "Rating", the takeoff thrust but when beginning the roll, there is an alarm coming up and I am not able to go faster than 50 kts, even with full power thrust. The problem is that I don't get any warning indication, only the sound of the alarm and I have to reject takeoff because I can't reach more than 60 kts !!! What I noticed also is that the sound isn't as the engines would be at their maximum. Probably a beginner's error but I sincerely don't know what it could be. Thx for any h…

Hello, I have FSX steam and problem installing FS Global 2010 :(. The error of the SCENERY.CFG file pops up at the very end of the installation process. Probably the installer looks at c: \ ProgramData \ Microsoft \ FSX \ and my c: \ ProgramData \ Microsoft \ FSX-SE is there. How can this be fixed and installed? Zenek

Hi, I want to connect the CPflight EL panel to the software of PMDG NGX (Downloaded version). Yesterday i have downloaded and installed the software and updated it with the PMDG Operations Center. I've read the documentation: https://www.cpflight.com/docs/prodotti/4/PMDG users.pdf and have already put the two lines ''[SDK] EnableDataBroadcast=1'' into the the ''737NGX_Options.ini'' file. Done that i only have to download the SP1D service update and that's allready in de installer. But after the install, what happends next? How can i finaly enable the CPflight panel in FSX? The Honeywell one I have installed sucks. It sets speeds at 458 IAS for my cruising altitude, that's WAY to fast, causing overspeed. The Honeywell seems to not understand IAS and TAS at high alititudes.

Hi, I think the scenery models for my FSX ships is corrupt. I use Instant Scenery to place objects and every time I open up the BGL it crashes. Even reinstalls don't help. All other scenery BGL's seem to work fine. I have a full back up of my FSX files, but I don't know which scenery BGL to replace to get my ship models back. Any help appreciated!

I just installed FSX-SE and got working pretty good. I can't get the flight plan log to print. I do have internet explorer as my default browser. I'm using windows 10 pro (64-bit). Any ideas on what I did wrong?

Every once in a while over the years I get the idea that I'd like to take some screenshots off my personal "fleet" parked at my home airport. So, I search the various FSX forums and Google for a while, find nothing to help me, so I give up and forget about it and just go fly and not think about it again for a while. Well, today, I thought I'd finally ask the community this question: Is there a simple (I can't stress the word simple enough...) way to put my personal aircraft on the ground in adjacent parking spots at my home airport, go into the sim with say ORBX's Bob, see my planes lined up all nice and take some screenshots?

I have FSX-MS, and to run this simulation I have an old i7-950 overclocked to 4Ghz this runs on a Gigabyte X58A-UDR3 motherboard the graphics done by a Nvidia GTX 970sc GPU. I recently purchased the Aerosoft A320/321 and had to turn down the autogen to sparse which did give me a nice FPS at big airports like Aerosoft Mega Airports at around 25fps or so give or take a few. I just purchased a new gaming computer and installed FSX boxed edition on it. Had some trouble but it is working good now, except that I only have 1 of each of the default aircraft showing up to fly with. Checked the aircraft.cfg files in each type of plane and all entries and texture files are there; its only allowing the plane listed as "flightsim.0" to load. Other than that it's working fine with great FPS(100+). Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks.

I was wondering if any master painters out there have perfected a CLS United Airlines 767-200/300 model in the "Saul Bass" 80's-90's scheme. Prederebly the large titles version. Project Opensky has one from fs2004 but that's all I've found. Any help would be greatly appreciated and I'll do anything I can to have a repaint of this made.

Every so often I'm getting really weird behaviour at cruise. This is primarily in PMDG 737 and 747 (because that's primarily what i fly) and happens in cruise. Everything will be normal and then the aircraft starts turning sharply left and right and can't seem to stay on the course. Resetting the AP doesn't help. If I disable live weather and then clear all weather using opus, then exit and restart opus and restart live weather it works fine. I'm running version 3.55.1. Thanks in advance.

Well, this is the second time that an airplane I was flying when the gear would not extend. The first airplane was the Lancair Legacy and then the Beach 55. I cannot figure out why it will not extend. Both airplanes were fine for a long time now all of a sudden it will not extend and has rendered both airplanes useless. I have tried everything short of deleting them and reinstalling them. Don't know if it's a problem with my system or what. Really frustrating.

I have had ENBmod for a week and I have to say, it's impressive but disappointing at the same time. The colors are fine, but I sometimes have issues seeing at night, sometimes when I open up a menu it flashes, etc. I need to know how to get rid of this. Immediately.

Hi All, I have FSX boxedboxed edition. I usuallystart the programs in the order of FSX, Multi Crew Experience, vPilot and then finally remoteCDU. This means I have to come out of full screen mode to windowed to launch MCE,vpilot and remotecdu,thengo back into full screen mode. Is it possible to autostart these with FSX, without them causing a conflict, loading them one after another automatically?. Maybe introducing a couple of sec delay?. Has anyone set it up that way?. I'm trying to re-install the purchased ThaiCreations VABB and Don Mueang airports and have received the requisite Authorisation Codes, but when I copy/paste these codes in their relevant boxes, I get a Error Flag 'You must enter a name'. How can that be when it is an Authorisation Code. Immediately after this Error Flag, I get 'Cannot focus a disabled or invisible window'. I have contacted simMarket where I bought these from---no response; I have contacted ThaiCreations-----again, no response. So, if any one can shed light on these Error Flags, I'd feel obliged.
