Hey all, I have been faced with this issue since I purchased the PMDG 777-200LR, I recently purchased the 777-300ER and still am experiencing the problem/bug. Its often a 50/50 whether the aircraft will load up properly (meaning everything working, and in a default panel state.) If it doesn't load up properly "load up dead as you guys state at PMDG" I need to restart FSX and hope it works on the second attempt. Hello everybody! I am looking for a panel/gauge to add to my plane that show informations about delay. I.E. you input the duration of the flight (estimated in an external planner), and the gauge control the present time and shows if you are delayed or early, based on its ETA. Does someone know about something like this? Thanks a lot!

So I have always had huge problems installing scenery of any kind in my flight sim and I end up needing to drag and drop all of the scenery and texture files into the FSX directory scenery and texture. But after trying to install T2G KSTL that did not work so I just put the folder containing the scenery and texture into addon scenery and trying my old method listed above, still no luck. I tried to do the usual method and find the folder and activate it in the FSX addon scenery menu and I end up with a half installed scenery with half the addon runway and a few default buildings in a big flat spot. I tried the repair tool and still nothing. Any more suggestions?

Hi All, I am not sure if this is the correct forum, if not please move or remove. 1) I was wondering whether there is any way of downloading an FSX Steam installer once to avoid having to download the entire approx 20GB through the Steam client each time you do a re-install. Occasionally, when I start FSX-SE it will hang in the splash screen. It never gets to the point of loading what is in dll.xml (at least not down to the ones where the dialog box asks whether or not to run a program). The only way it seems to fix is to use the task manager to kill fsx.exe and then start it up again. Task Manager shows 0% CPU usage for fsx.exe when it is stuck like this. I once left it that way for an hour -- still ended up having to kill it. Is there a fix for this behaviour? I've already disabled preload.

After upgrading from the pilot addition to the pro edition I'm having trouble getting the aircraft set up for takeoff. I get a takeoff warning which I cannot determine the cause of (all lights out, anti-skid on, flaps five, spoilers flight, everything else I have forgotten?). When taking off I press the toga switch and GA appears as the vertical mode. I also pressed heading select for the natural mode. According to the documentation the flight directors should appear after pressing the toga switch. However, they do not. What exactly can the effect be on FSX with various anti-virus programs. Years ago, I discovered that Norton AV was affecting my FSX performance. NOW, I use ESET NOD 32 as my program. I heard that with the new Windows 10, the Windows Defender program is "sufficient" for all possible virus types. I don't know if I really believe that. During many flights, FSX encounters a problem and has to shut down (that's the message). Could this be attributable to an AV program doing its thing behind the scenes i.e. updating the virus database? Finally, would a simple program like Windows Essentials be all that is necessary, and perhaps be less intrusive in the background? …

Hello, After starting a flight in FSX, the framerate will be 25-30. The frame drop as time passes until it becomes 1-2 FPS. It all started when I purchased EZDok camera. I noticed that if I minimised FSX, and do something else on other programs, then after 15 secs I maximise FSX, the frames would be normal (Around 25 FPS), but, the same thing happens, the FPS drops as time passes . It would be really grateful if someone sort out this problem. Also, it started when I started to fly the Airbus X. (But I had bought it a long ago, flew it on the day I installed Ezdok camera, but never managed to get it airborne because of this FPS drop...)

Hello! I´m not verry experienced when it comes to work with files. I have tried to improve how things come out in FSX by adding lines in the fsx.cfg-file as described in different tweaking guides, for example HIGHMEMFIX=1, Affinitymask...etc. After adding those lines it seams to work really good. But when I returned to read my fsx.cfg-file ( just for qurious) I notice that the lines I added in the file are all disapeared...?? I do know that I saved my changings. I know I changed the"TEXTURE_MAX_LOAD=1024" to 2048, but now it´s back on 1024. HIGHMEMFIX=1 is gone and all other changings too. But I do notice graphic improvements. Did I do something wrong? …

I have a Microsoft Flight Simulator X Programme. My son bought me an add on (Airbus A380 v2) for Flight Simulator X. I have loaded this add on programme onto my computer and all the extra aircraft show up on my opening screen to select when I run my Microsoft Flight Simulator X Programme. The only trouble is when I select one of these new aircraft the programme crashes and closes. ANY help here would be most appreciated please?

I have followed the read me and YouTube tutorial for installing the program and have followed what the video said. I get an error about the scenery.cfg file when inputting the data to the program. It first says (problem reading scenery.cfg error. Ensure the path to this file is valid. Ensure FSX isn't running) (which it's not). Then when I press force update of runway and taxi data, I get the same message along with (problem enumerating aircraft config files at path= SimObjects\). Hello - I had a motherboard failure and had to get a new computer. My FSX is the Steam version, and I was hoping my Acceleration came from there as well, but it did not. I bought it about two years ago as a download. Does anyone know where I may have purchased it from? I would like to see if they could provide an activation code again. I called Microsoft but they only support the disc version now. If worse comes to worse I have the hard drive that the local shop could retrieve it from. Thanks for any suggestions. Rob

I have asked this question on the official Majestic forums, but have not received any answers yet. After reinstalling the dash in P3D 3.3.5 after being away from it for a while, I noticed a minor issue. I have to buttons on my joystick that I use for the elevator pitch trim. They are now also mapped to the autopilot pitch wheel which makes manual flying with the F/D a bit challenging. I did try read through some of the documentation, but did not quite understand how to fix this. I would like to change the controller setup so that those two buttons does not control the autopilot pitch wheel. Could anyone tell me how to do that? I´m using the latest versions of the pr…

I have lost my details for the log in I Can't remember the email address I used or the user name or the password Although my vroute Premium page is still working I think I changed the contact email address, but my contact name is on the configuration page and the contact email plus my verified vatsim number. When I try to log in to the main vroute website it requires a user name and email address to send me the new pass word which I no longer have. I initially installed the FSX B777 -NC -300ER which uses the jb Panels which are excellent. However after removing my NVIDIA 9600 graphics board to change my BIOS Battery all of the interactive gauges and switches do not appear on the 2D panel, overhead nor do the displays such as the PFD appear. This applies to other aircraft using the jb panels. I have tried almost everything I know but still the same. I have the images but as a new AVSIM user I cant insert them into. could anyone help please

I have been fighting for weeks to fix an assumed corrupted dll.xml file that changed after an addon. I renamed it and ran FSX without one and still had my menus but without the addons, except the REX WX Advantage Radar in the addons pull down. I must have another file that is allowing the menus to show while flying but I can's find out where. Any help would be appreciated. I also have an out of place picture of the aircraft picked when I choose another airport from the startup screen. Even without the dll.xml file active. Must be simple but not for me. I've written about this on this forum in the past....ah, but to no avail. If I were a talented developer, I would do it myself. What? Produce a beautifully designed, superb flying, and realistically-cockpitted ICON A5. This is one of the coolest easiest to fly planes in the world. Supposedly it would take only 30 hours or so to learn how to fly the ICON. I love the versatility of this aircraft (land and water), and I think it would be great fun to fly it.
