I have found some katl scenery but it takes away the gate what do i do

I have been flight simming on PCs since the very first release of FS from Microsoft. But lately, I am happy to say, that I am using FSX as a supplement to my Private Pilot Training on a Cessna 1782P. One of the things my instructor is bugging me about is that I "fly the instrument panel too much". In fact, this bad habit comes from years of flight simming on my PC. In any FS product you get a view out the front of the window and loose the seat-of-the-pants inputs... so you tend to focus on the six flight instruments to tell you where you are... how high, what attitude, what heading and so on. Hi All, There's a lot of talk regarding Pro ATC/X at the moment, so wanted to do my own short review and hopefully help a couple of other make their decisions on whether they plan to go ahead or not. At Syracuse KSYR this afternoon. I followed this article's advice The Last 400 Feet Things went great. I remember; in Rod's FSX lessons, he would bust you for landing just a little long. Does anyone have link to landing zones that aren't so blurry as these? N99WB

Hi, I had not flown with the Legacy for a while. When I loaded it I was surprised by that : The "virtual joysticks" are Offset. Same problem in the Legacy V1 and V2 ! Does anyone have an idea of what happened ? Thank you and Regards, Richard Portier

I think EZ-Dok somehow deleted the Virtual Cockpit camera from my Cameras.cfg file. Is there a way to replace the Virtual Cockpit camera in the Cameras.cfg file without having to reinstall FSX completely? If so, does anyone have the format for original VC camera? Thanks all!

Hi All, If anyone has experience with the 'Freemium' 757 from Just Flight I'd be most appreciative of some help/advice. Since purchasing the Combo livery packs I've noticed two things; Firstly, the original British Airways livery version (i.e. the 'free' livery) has vanished from my available aircraft, Secondly, I've lost altitude call-outs and the no-smoking and seatbelt audible chimes no longer seem to work either. Anyone else experienced this? Other than that, the aircraft is performing perfectly. Cheers!

Is it possible to download a SkyVector Flight Plan and change it to a pln format and use that in FSX? Thanks.

I set up a flight for the PMDG737 from egcc to egjj i inserted a hold at my destination which the a/c entered okay,however after one circuit it exited on its own accord.i cannot find any in depth info. on hold procedure in the pmdg or fs2crew manuals have i missed an input in the hold page this also occured on the next flight frank cann

Not sure that this is the right place for an answer. If not please point me in the right direction. My favorite airplane the RealAir Legacy V2 landing gear will retract but will not extend. I've reset the default settings, and have ensured that the crash detection is off in FSX. I can't find anything anywhere as to how to reset the gear or fix it. Been working on this for several days now just can't seem to find the fix. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Rodger

Hello everyone, Lately I've been having problems with the default ATC on my FSX-Acceleration installation. I usually use PLAN-G to make some medium distance IFR plans and fly them using freeware and payware aircraft and FSX's built in ATC. A couple of months ago on some of the flights, I would set up a flightplan for FL310-320 etc and whenever I passed 10,000 the ATC would clear me for a FL roughly 10,000 above what I had in the plan. If I asked for a lower FL the ATC would either subtract the altitude from the original filed flightplan -or- just say "FL denied". An example would be as such: A flight plan from Athens to Rome with a B732 and a requeste…

Hello everyone. I've been using the trial version of FSCaptain for a couple of days now to see if I want to purchase it. I have 2 questions. #1) I have been unable to change the exit mapping for the default 737-800. I want FSCaptain to open the PAX, Cargo, and Service ("Other" in FSCaptain) doors all at the same time. I've tried putting "1", "2", and "3" in the 1st 3 boxes of each section of the exit map and FSCaptain still only opens the pax door. #3) The manual states that FSCaptain should be able to set the fuel level when the GSX fuel truck arrives. It says to disable the fuel & payload popup in GSX to do so. I've done that, but if I don't manuall…

Hi everone, I was searching for a sub-forum for ProAtc to post my problem, but couldnt find it so excuse me if I am posting in the wrong place. My problem is that ProatcX sometimes gives me wrong instructions, like maintaining a high altitude during approach or sometimes follow different headings than the original route. latest example was today in route from LHBP to LOWI, instructions were to maintain 13000ft until almost 15 nm from runway! needless to say...i crashed Was wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Hey Readers, so i installed GSX with Serial and no pirate, then my PMDG 747 don't begin to function, my PMDG 737 Don't function and some of the GSX vehicles is invisible???

Im trying to find out the reason for my low fps in orbx sceneries nd i think that i can trace it back to my fps in a vanilla fsx. My question is how many fps do you guys get on a fresh fsx steam on the friday harbor flight?? Without moving any settings??. My fps were constant 90-100 without panning. And ive seen some people with 200+ fps on a vanilla fsx thats why im asking

Good morning friends, I've FSX installed in an SSD drive which, due to poor initial estimation, now is almost full. Since, after five years of perfect and enjoyable use , just a simple thought about re-installation makes me crazy, I wander if there is a way to transfer FSX to another larger SSD disk without reinstalling. I was flying a long distance flight to KSLC ( Salt Lake City ) in the new PMDG 747 and noticed that Chase Plane was running low on vas so since the flight was half way I decided to save the flight, something that has never been done by me before. I saved the flight then shut everything down. I had to re-start the computer because I have FSX SE and that's something that has to be done if I want Steam to work. So I fired everything up again then went to load, clicked on the flight that was saved and what I got was the default flight with the hang glidder. What am I missing?

Fresh install of FSX:SE on a new PC, using ActiveSky 2016. This his happened with both the FSL A320 and the NGX (I haven't flown any other of my aircraft yet). I'm constantly getting a subtle left and right bank, even if I turn off Active Sky and clear all the weather. Can't seem to pinpoint what might be causing it because, like I said, it continues even with the weather completely cleared.

Hey, I loaded up my FSX this afternoon, and I was greeted with an unpleasant sight. All of my FSX textures were black, except airports. It's also now taking an extremely long time to load flights when it gets to "Loading terrain data...". Here is a screenshot: I really don't know how to fix this. My FSX default GPS seems to have stopped functioning properly. I don't remember deliberately doing anything to it. http://prnt.sc/erdzx6 It functions like a normal GPS; It can run a flight plan, it can go direct, it displays distances, speeds, eta's, and can even do GPS hold autopilot. However it doesn't display a map of the area. This is how it is on all aircraft. (some are not default) I am happy to give away more details on my game and setup. Thanks.

I have the boxed version of PMDG 737 800/900 which was for Microsoft Flight Sim 2004. Can I install this in FSX-SE and use the Service Pack 1d from precision manuals to get it to work. Thanks.........Steff
