Shalom and greetings all my pals, While I am working hard to modify and sharpen FSX's settings to get crisp sharp ground textures from FL350 which I am doing well, I have one more question for all of you please Is AffinityMask entry in FSX.cfg important or not? Will AffinityMask result into sharper ground textures from FL350? And should I use AffinityMask=84 in my FSX.cfg? Is it correct number? I know it is old news and old topic for all of you but AffinityMask is new thing for me even though I have been flying on FSX for almost 10 years. Regards, Aharon

Hello. i just recently got TSS's 737NGX sounds and wanted to install it. Im having a difficult time installing it and i also wanted to know if i could have 737NGX Immersion Sound and TSS's 737 sound together, if so, how do i install it?

Has anyone experienced any issues / conflicts with the flight 1 Citation Mustang ? I have a frame freeze & crash when loading the flight 1 mustang. Centre MFD seems to be the problem. Have been through all the remedies & still have a problem. Thanks in advance for any help !

Is it normal for the first Buttkicker config window to open every time OpusFSI V5 opens? I mean the one where you enable any of three possible Buttkickers I do have a Buttkicker configured and up and running but I don't see the point of having to close this window every time. Thanks gb.

I am scratching my head... I recently purchased the iFly 737NG for FSX (I had bought the iFly 737NG for FS9 back in 2011). The download went well, and everything appears in place. However, the inputs into the FSX configuration tool are not showing up on the simulator. None of the iFly models are showing winglets or cockpit eyebrows, even though I added those options in the configuration. In addition, I downloaded a iFly delta 737-700 with winglets folder and added that to the fleet via Microsoft Flight Simulator X - SimObjects - Airplanes - iFly 737-700. I know that was alot of OOM problem since FSX is a 32-bit program. Is there anything I need to do special in order for Flyinside to work with OpusFSI? I just started with Flyinside this week, and I started OpusFSI just like I would using P3D i.e. started it first. But it seems Flyinside has it's own settings and configurations. So, I'm not sure what to do. Thanks, realkewl

No matter how I configure the fuel flow, the B787 will only empty one tank at a time ... this creates a very insignificant imbalance in the aircraft (which I do not see reflected in any way) .. any solution?? Ron

Hello I have recently installed a piece of freeware scenery into my FSX:SE addon scenery folder. However, there are trees literally all over the airport except the runway. I cannot see the control tower from the terminal stands as there are so many trees. I have read about the lumberjack tool; but not actually sure it will work for my situation. The tool appears to be there to remove trees from around the runway area (in particular the RWY threshold) and does not mention anything regarding taxiways and other areas. Is there anything I can do with this tool to ensure all of the trees are cleared from my new freeware airport? In the event that this tool do…

Oh my, this is the toughest FSX problem I have ever run across. I play Airhauler 2. I have a company in Alaska, Valdez, PAVD. A ton of my jobs are over to the west about 80 miles or so and in this area there are a ton of airports. Every time I go in there is a HUGE beacon light spinning in Black. A Huge black cone that shows up at a bunch of these nearby airports. I landed as close as I could to it and the airport is 6AK7 Rainbow Heights. The beacon is right near that airport. Sure enough, I found that I had downloaded a freeware 6ak7 airport. So I go in to the scenery folder and delete all the files that are in the freeware airport, so I know I got all files in …

Hi, After a long time simming, I finally broke down and purchased a few PMDG aircraft. I always thought I didn't have time to learn a complex aircraft, and I was wrong. The learning curve isn't that bad, and I am really enjoying the NGX and the 777. I should have listened to everyone on this forum a few years ago. I am now using FSX and ProATCX for planning and ATC. Anyway, one issue I am have trouble with is dealing with the discrepancies between nav data and what is actually in the sim. I almost always fry to/from add airports and I intentionally keep a few out of date airports installed. Either way, I can't think of a way to make sure the FMC matches the sim.…

Hello - I am running P3D 3.4 and the Opus FSI 5.00.12 with the buttkicker plugged into the soundblaster x-fi go! Pro. I am having issues with the landing effects - Once you land, the landing effects keep repeating while you are on the ground. When you take off again, the land effects do not turn off when you are in the air. Hi, I'm replacing my mobo and processor. Mobo broke and the socket was old and not made anymore. So, I'll have to re install Windows, FSX and all addons, mainly pmdg, milvis, aerosoft, etc planes, and sceneries, even if everything is on a SSD? Will FSX simulation install without problems even if it's reading a new Pc, mobo and processor? Please can you guys in the know and with experience on this assist me here? thanks a lot in advance. Hello everyone, I have an issue with my FSX. When operating in crosswind conditions, the crosswind only affects the aircraft when above 1000 AGL. Once below this, the aircraft straightens out itself. I use active sky2016 for my FSX weather and I just landed with a 12kt crosswind. The plane would be crabbing a little above 1000ft but than straightens out automatically although FSX shows there is still a crosswind. All my realism sliders in FSX are set to realistic and I also use FSUIPC4 free version. Can someone please help. Much appreciated. Travon Nicholls

Not sure if this is a Win10 issue or a FSX Steam issue. But since upgrading to Win 10 and to FSX Steam from the boxed version, my FSX Borderless app from the avsim library doesn't seem to work. I put the exe file in the FSX Steam/common/FSX folder. Does it need to be in a different folder to execute?

Hi, I am running Windows 7 & FSX. I have followed Rob's readme file and loaded the gauge (50 without the 50a icon upgrade) to two aircraft, the Beech Baron 58 and the Beech King Air 350. The taxi element works perfectly but the push back produces a sound error. It emanates from selecting a straight back push, say 20 metres. Push the button, flashes green, hit the period to release the parking brake, which re-applies the Parking Brake when the period is released. This is followed a few seconds later by the big red "sound error". As the taxi part works well I assume there is something wrong on the sound side and I have checked and rechecked the entries, …

Hi! I have some problems with contrails on Online Traffic. I think the traffic use the default textures. How can I restore the default contrail effects, if I use FSX Steam Edition? Or could I download them anywhere? I did some unsuccessfully experiments to get better contrails, but the default ones are currently the best ones. Thank you very much!

I recently bought the Leonardo Software MD-88 and when I loaded up in an addon livery, which is a delta livery I got off the forums, it had no virtual cockpit. Help!
