Yesterday I installed the LSZB scenery for FSX. It was yesterdays new addition in the library. I tried to run it but kept getting OOM's as it was loading. I tried with all sliders at minimum but still with the same problem. I have no problem with other big and complex sceneries such as EGLL from UK2000 and many others. Was wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem. Or was this scenery designed to run on a 64 bit simulator. Running FSX SP2 Win 10 64 bit. Ge Force GTX 970 and i7 4790K processor which runs 4.0 to 4.4GHz Bob Palmer

I'd like to remove the taxiway lights from one of my FSX sceneries to improve compatibility with FSW. I've located the file which contains this information, so now I just need to figure out how to edit it. What program should I use?

Getting back into flightsimming after a few years pause (work). Retirement is right at hand. Been flightsimming over a decade, mostly flying DC3's. Building a nice dedicated system for it. 64bit P3D is just too tempting to pass up. I thought the hobby would be dying truthfully. Being there are no supported DC3's in P3D that I can see, I'm trying decide if I want to also install FSX SE so I have the option of continuing to fly the MAAM DC3 as I have 1000's of hours in it. Hey guys, I came across an odd problem that I have never had before. I have a few addons installed however I have just uninstalled ORBX Global as Flytampa Dubai disagreed with it. Any suggestions on how to fix this without an entire reinstall would be great. Thank you Sean

Ezdok V2 keeps moving camera and setting it permantly. I just bought it today, i had ezdok v1 and the same thing was happening. Then i bought EzDok v2 because i thougt it was just a problem with v1. But it still happens, it is quite annoying Regards - Oscar Hey

I got a brand new computer with Windows 10. I can not get FSx deluxe to install. I'm going nuts trying to get this to work. If you have any suggestions please help. Give as much info you can as I am not very computer savvy. Thanks

Forgive me, I'm a PRO ATC/ ATC noob First question: Is there a way to only receive SIDs as opposed to receiving heading vectors sometimes? Second question: When I DO receive vectors, do I just enter the heading they tell me to into the MCP until they tell me to continue on the path programmed in the FMC? On that note, how do I know when they want me to do that? And I'd select LNAV, correct? Third question: What does "continue as filed" mean? Is it the answer to the question above? Thanks a lot!!

Hello- At some point with my addon installations, the default ATC lost it's ability to assign many approaches at several I've tested. The ATIS says visual approaches during 1/2 mile visiblity and when the player chooses "request another approach" option inside the ATC window, all that is listed are visual appraoches. I know I installed the FSX database update from https://www.aero.sors.fr and the lastest magnetic deviation file too at some point. What could kill the default ATC abiltiy to assign instrument approaches? Thanks- Mike

Getting back into the hobby after a few years of inactivity. Thank you LMT! I had a one page laminated navigation reference sheet that covered recipricol headings, vertical decent info and a whole host of VERY useful flightsim navigation and flight standard referece data all on one page. I believe it was a MS Word doc. I cannot find the file anywhere. Does anyone remember such a beast and perhaps where it can be found? I have exhausted Google. Any help appreciated! Radial9

I have built a new W10/Kaby Lake rig and want to try SE. I know absolutely nothing about the SE of FSX and have a load of very good scenery add ons (FSDT, FlightBeam, Fly Tampa, etc.) and would like some advice. 1) Can I use them, considering both W10 & FSX-SE? 2) Can I install them on a different drive from FSX-SE? 3) How does PMDG get along with SE as I have got just about all of them? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I have recently moved from FSX SP2 to P3D v3.4. I have no further need now for FSX but I'm wary of uninstalling it because I don't know what impact it will have on SimConnect. I have three versions of SimConnect and various software I have will probably need one of those versions in P3D. Can I safely uninstall FSX SP2 without it affecting my SimConnect entries?

Hi, I am using FSX:SE for some time, but being a weekend user only I cannot consider myself a highly professional pilot :) Due to that reason I would like to ask some questions, which might be found as elementary subject, but... 1. I am facing problems with adding scenery to the library. All necessary files are in a folder pasted in Addon Scenery, but when I try to add a new area with Settings menu nothing happens after pressing the OK button pointing to the folder. Hi guys, just a quick question here. You know on the Queen II where you can save panel state in the FMC? I would like to do the same thing except save aircraft configuration; things like equipment and displays. There is a "restore" and "load from" at right select 2 and 3 but no "save"?

So I have a question regarding FSAerodata. I had been using Hervé Sors updates until recently when I discovered that certain updates break AI and ATC. I literally went from decently busy skies to hardly any traffic at all. i never put it together until I read the FAQ and saw that it reduces AI due to flight plan disruptions. So removing it put a good amount of traffic back up for me. I saw that someone mentioned the FsAerodata but it says ATC updates for new approaches and such. Wouldn't this also break ATC and AI?

I posted this over at the FlyTampa forums but figured I would post here as well: I am having a major issue that I am at complete loss as to how to resolve: I have several FlyTampa airports, and when I run the installers they run as normal. however, once I go into FSX-SE into the scenery library, there are not listed. Furthermore, if I try to add any of these manually to the scenery library, they just disappear once i hit save. I have no clue as to what is happening, but in fact it also messes up other items, so in other words once i run the installers, I can no longer install any other scenery. Hello All, I just had a quick question for all of you. I recently purchased, downloaded and installed the Glowingheat SR-71 V2.4 for FSX (I'm running it on a Windows 10 operating system) and I've really been enjoying flying it. I've noticed, however, that when I perform steep climbs or turns with the aircraft, the vapor effects on the nose appear to be displaying black squares (implying that the effects files might be corrupted or missing): From what I know and have seen with previous iterations of the model, the nose vapor should be white, just like the vapor that comes off the inlet spikes. I'm having an issue with the AUScene Adelaide International X scenery. It is completely black from an area of around 5 meters around me. A gif of the issue can be found here: Note: the gif makes it look laggy I'm not sure what the issue would be, I've tried removing everything excluding the Adelaide X files from my addon scenery folder to no avail. I recently downloaded HJG's L-1011-1 and installed it. Later I flew the aircraft and major lag issues occurred, which have never occurred with me before. Can someone tell me what I may have done wrong?
