I can't seem to download any of my add ons for FSX lately, and it's driving me nuts. A large portion of them will just time out because there is supposedly no connection, I can download other things for other programs just fine, but not any of my FSX things, and I don't know what's going on, can someone please tell me what I can do to get things downloaded?

After about two years of using FSX it started having Stack Hash errors so I decided that after a lot of messing about I would do reinstall. For a completely new start I did a reset of Win 10 version 1703 build 15063.483 not keeping any of the old programmes or files. When I try to install FSX (De Luxe) version it gets almost to the end of disk two and gets a fatal error 1603/1722. I have tried several installs with the same results. Also I have tried several workarounds none of which fix the problem, which I can see from several websites is not uncommon. I'm seeing more and more VAS leakage to the point that half of my flights go into an OOM crash more quickly than ever. It just seems to be getting worse and worse....day by day. I've be tweaking and re-tweaking and changing graphics drivers and playing with Inspector, etc. etc. for the last month or so. And I'm really starting to think about drastic measures ( re-installation of fsx?). I enjoy all this wonderful scenery, planes, airports, weather, and traffic....but boy, does it come at a price! Hi guys, I'm hoping one of the AI experts (I'm looking at you, Bjoern!) can help me with this one. I'm still using FSX-SE but looking to move to P3D v4 in the very near future. I'm trying to P3D-proof my current custom AI, and while I've been able to update/replace a lot of the AI models so they'll be compatible with the new sim, there are some that there's just no way around. To take one key example: British Airways, for which I can make everything compatible with the exception of the B767-300 -- there's a conversion of that AIA FS9 aircraft to FSX/P3D standards, but only the GE model, not the RR one that BA uses. Hi, Please help! I have got EZdok for my FSX SE, and I like the movement and transition between cameras but I am having trouble with it, do you have to set up every aircraft or can I download the settings for the default aircraft? Should the addon already have settings for the default aircraft?

This is related to my earlier post regarding the iFDG MD-11, except it's the Just Flight Freemium 757 which is causing me grief. I set up a flight from Manchester UK to Nice, France. Flightplanner said just 28000 lbs of fuel was required so put that in the centre tank with nothing in the left & right. The sim loads and both engines immediately quit. Yet the centre fuel tank pumps are showing as on in the overhead panel. I cannot successfully restart the engines unless I just use CTRL - E. As an experiment I put a couple of gallons each in the left & right tanks. As soon as they run out, the engines quit, yet the pumps are showing as on as are the x-feed pu…

Anyone else try their version 2.0? Unfortunately, I am seeing the exact same problems as their 1.x versions which lead me to believe the issues are related to .dll conflicts.

Morning All, A few months ago, I had the dreaded "Cloud of Doom" Fortunately, Stephen from OPUS answered with replacing the FSX Cirrus_overcast03.bmp with the one provided in the OPUS software after editing it of course. This worked and life was good. Unfortunately, Microsoft pushed out an update. Naturally, I had to reinstall Windows 10 and all other programs I lost when Windows wouldn't start. Spent many hours on this. CSV file had over 5 million lines. Excel file exceeded 400mb and was 5Gig, yes gigabytes, when loaded. Was a bit painful to work with. Hopefully this is representative to most other users and helpful in case they want to speed things up.

so recently like 1 week ago, i installed pmdg 747 v3 and 777 and some other payware addons, and saturday last week i was doing some extended range flight, but i got some trouble suddenly when i was flying using the 747-400 i wanna control the plane manually for a while to line up with the route, but suddenly the fsx become unresponsive to key command, no key was working, i already checked if the numlock is not active. after that problem encounter, i decide to restart my flight and same thing happened after restart flight, restart fsx, and after restarting the pc, but after i restarted the pc and launch the fsx again, the same problem happened when i was setting up the air…

Hi, a few days ago it started to happen this to my FSX. When I depart an airport it looks fine. But, at my destination airport (whichever it is, it happens on FLytampa, FSDT, etc.) textures are blurry and buggy. I don´t know what it can be. Any idea? Thanks,

Hi all, Recently I started having an issue where some buildings in my default scenery are showing up completely black and others are not showing up except for the roof. It's not a deal breaker but it is extremely annoying when I am on final approach to Miami or DC or any number of other cities and I see these big black cubes or no building but a floating roof. Ultimately I intend to transition over to V4 as soon as I build my new computer this fall but in the interim I would like to fix what I currently have going on. Any suggestions, files, ideas? I'm always trying to make sure that my settings are most beneficial to the overall FSX experience. Just downloaded the latest drivers....384.94's and after doing the Inspector thing, I turned to trying to really optimize my settings in the sim. I've always checked off "anti-aliasing", and used the Anisotropic filtering. However, I would like to hear from some forum members as to their professional advice on whether Trilinear should instead be used....and of course, the rationale for either of the choices. Hi I like showing both the inbound and outbound displays. I am thinking buying a 9 or 10 inch monitor that will showing both. I will go for the format 16:9 but is the format to bigg in 9 or 10 inch showing the displays? I am planning having these displays / the display in a panel maybe 50 - 100 cm in front of me. Hello! Following the announcement by the French Sécurité Civile to buy a new batch of Dash8 Q400MR for aerial firefighting, I am seriously considering having a go at the Majestic Dash8. What I find really disappointing in most addons is that they don't "punish" you if you don't observe the flight parameters (engine torque, hard landing, over g and so on). So I'd like to know how both pilot and pro versions are regarding this damage/failure simulation. I'd want to be sure that the failure feature in the pro version is not a "simple" failure trigger that fails systems after random or preset time, but reacts to the pilot's misbehaviour. A few days ago my FSX:SE started taking an extremely long time to load. It lags during the splash screen, setting up the free flight menu, and once in the sim the drop down menus take forever to respond. This all started out of nowhere. I do NOT have FSX boxed installed along side it, just P3D v3.1 - which runs fine. My computer is fairly new and I do not have many addons installed in FSX:SE. I basically just use it to fly my planes and use my sceneries that aren't compatible with P3D. I've searched in several forums for a solution to the problem and so far nothing I found has worked.
