I wonder why the SYS button ( located beside the ENG button ) does not work. Can anybody provide a hint ? Thank you Paul12

All has been working well on short flights but I am having problems on long (>8hours) inter-continental flights. Through elimination, I have found no problem with P3D on its own: my PMDG QOTS2 will fly until the fuel runs out. The problem comes when I add OPUS (only OPUS nothing else). The simulator stops after about 7/8 hours with "P3D.exe has stopped working........." The event viewer just says Faulting app. path is P3D.exe and faulting module the generic c:Windows\sys32\ntdll.dll (names shortened a bit for convenience). Hi, I have lost the numeric fonts on all my radios in fs9 and in fsx. Anyone have an Idea of how to restore them. I'm running in Windows 10. Radios work but numeric fonts don t appear. I know how to update system fonts but not which one is missing or corrupted. Thanks Brian

Hello I just bought the PMDG 777 and a few ORBX sceneries during the sale, and after installing them, my frame rate took a nosedive from the ~40 to 10-15 fps when using these scenery. After a bit of looking, i came upon Word Not Allowed's fsx tweaks. Using process explorer, I found when fsx is running, it only utilises one core at full capactiy and the others are at idle, So I applied the affinity mask tweak to get fsx using all cores. I have a 4 core i7-4720 with hyperthreading enabled, so I used AffinityMask=255. And now the frame rate wont go above 10 even with all the addon scenery disabled. I have been using the Flight1 GTN750 in FSX for some years now and I love it. I chose the 750 rather than the 650 simply because of its larger screen size and the fact that the 650 (as far as I know) doesn't include charts. Recently however I note that Flight1 have released an updated package called GTN Complete which includes both the 650 and 750, with a reasonable update price for previous owners and I have been considering getting it. Apart from the fact that the 650 because of its smaller size offers the chance to integrate into some VCs where the 750 simply wouldn't fit, I just wondered if there are any other benefits to having both? I know this tread is a bit old, but until yesterday I did not have any issue with full screen performance vs win mode, mean the pretty much gave me the same FPS, however, all of a sadden I get half the FPS in Full Screen than in win mode. I'm not even sure how to start trouble shoot Any thoughts ??? Cheers

I just bought Scenery Builders KPIT scenery addon and I notice that some of the scenery BGL's (the cars in parking lot) flicker and vanish all the time. Anyone have any idea how I can fix this or the cause of this.

I am trying to adjust the call signs for my aircraft. I tried adjusting the atc sections in the configuration file, but ended up with atc pronouncing each letter...using the phonetic alphabet. I want the system to recognize my aircraft as American 444, Speedbird 189 etc. not Boeing 0001 or Airbus 0002. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I just fly with Lancair Legacy recently, Absolutely great addon, fast aircraft, beautiful virtual cockpit.

Practically since I found it I've been flying the POSKY 744 with an add-on 2d panel and default FSX VC. I finally got around to installing the upgraded VC by Alejandro - an excellent improvement until I can save up for a PMDG 744. However the night lighting appears to have a problem. Not sure if this is due to me running in DX10 (thanks, SteveFX) or not. The cockpit light (dome?) appears to work fine, but switching to panel creates this: If I turn it off - the instruments also go dark. Not without power, all the information is still displayed, it's just the same brightness as the rest of the cockpit. Any ideas please? Not sure if anyone flies the defau…

Hi there, I do use PFPX but I never purchased the server subscription. I noticed that simbrief offers NOTAMS for free. How can it be, that an addon you paid for cannot offer that service for free? Never mind, I get my weather from ASN into PFPX, but I am missing NOTAMS and TAF's in my FP. Is there a way to use a freeware source to get that information integrated into the PFPX FP?

I am a real world pilot S.E.L. of the Cessna fixed wing. I am building my simulator from the ground up. My system is entirely dedicated to the simulator only. No other games, software or programs (unless related to my sim). I am running Windows 10 64 bit. My computer has the Nvidia GTX970 with an Intel I7-6700 processor to make my simulator run smooth and fast. I am not by any means a computer programmer or builder, but from what I think I know, I can be quite dangerous. Hello! Recently I discovered FSCLOUDS and wondered why I dont tried it much earlier. It seemed to have a nice touch of flying online but without the strict rules like VATSIM and IVAO... I thought I can enjoy easy online flying. But why they have at least 3 different clients on the start page? I have downloaded the WOAI installer from AVSIM and have attempted to install a number of airline packages in FSX. However, on a test flight at Heathrow, not a single aircraft is visible on the ground, despite me having installed numerous airline packages. When I go to "Expert" in the WOAI installer, none of my packages appear. I've installed the airline packages to my C:\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes folder. Is this the correct location? Am I missing a step to somehow activate these AI aircraft? If anyone can help, I would be most grateful!

Hi, I am looking for a good route website I have tried rfinder I have tried online flight planner and I have tried flight plan database but I keep getting incorrect routes from them.

I may have cocked up my fsx. I did have GEX Europe installed. I did not uninstall this as I assumed & read somewhere that FTX Global would overwrite the textures. I therefore installed FTX Global. It all seems fine except black squares in scenery. I enclose 2 x screenshots to demonstrate my problem.... 1. Taken @ Innsbruck 2. Taken @ Jahalabad in Afghanistan Many black squares... Hi all, I recently installed KJFK from the Polish developer (with the difficult to pronounce name) This installed the SODE jetway module into my FSX. I can see it from the add ons drop down menu. It's obviously got something to do with the jetways at airports but that's as far as I know. I've read documentation and googled it but I'm stumped. My question is what exactly does this do? I am running FSX-SE and have Scenery Config v1.1.7 installed and would like to uninstall. The product does not have of a website where you can get info (not that I can find) Can anyone lead me in the right direction for info on how to uninstall this program? With FSX when you mess about with the scenery .cfg file your in dangerous territory. Of all info that comes with the program I can not find any info on what you need to do when uninstalling this program. Thanks
