I have FSX:SE and since yesterday there are weird black objects in my cockpit and at other views. If somebody could help me fix this it would be awesome! Running FSX:SE on a Win10 pc. Not sure if this is a coincidence but since the last Win10 update a week or two ago (the large one that installed some Paint programme that I'll never use, amongst other things......) whenever I now access 'Flight Planner' and attempt to load a saved plan, the sim immediately shuts down - no warning, signs, sounds, nothing. I've tried clearing out all the saved plans files (except the Logbook.BIN) and that did seem to help but this seems to last for a short while and the problem returns. Any thoughts/suggestions or similar experiences from anyone here at all please ? TIA Kevin

First this is just my opinion. Is it just me or is there a major lack of post regarding the QW787 release? If this was a major PMDG release that people had been waiting years for it would be the dominate topic in the forums on release day lasting weeks! Yet today we hardly see anything regarding this 787. I think its because the majority of people have jumped ship to P3Dv4. Poor decision IMO to not target the dominate simulator for its release.

Hello, I downloaded SR22 from eaglesoft but when I load the aircraft in FSX it is very slow and I have a lot of bugs(for exemple,each time I want to select something it's very long to load) . I am starting to have so many problems with FSX that I can't keep up. Having had so many problems, I decided to install P3Dv4. Whoops. Editvoicepack wouldn't work, even after using the latest one for v4. I was at KORD and the radio said I was in Tahitti or some strange place. The commo ATC-to-pilot and visa versa was barking out strange numbers and letters, instead of "taxi to rwy 12" etc... My FSX was messed up too, at least, it went back to the slowest voice setting. I went back to an older version and I keep getting this same error. Now both P3D and FSX are screwed. All of my airports in the scenery library are coming up blank. I can't read which is which. If I knew how to post a pic here, I would but I see no such icon to do this. All the sceneries are there, there is just no title.

I note that Aerosoft have released an update for their Sacramento Airport scenery which includes reworked textures, optimized models etc. I was very keen to buy this add on when it appeared but a number of poor reviews in terms of performance, VAS usage etc, as well as the need to deactivate FTX Northern California and just use it with FTX Global put me off! I wondered if anyone has tried it with the new update, has there been any improvement in performance and is their still a need to run it with FTX Nocal deactivated? Bill

I have the FS2004 version and was wondering, before I spend the time, if anyone had tried to install it in FSX. Did you have to make any modifications? I was thinking of getting the Flight1 FSX version but it is a little too pricey for me. Thanks! Airbus

Good day every one, Is there a Cessna 172 with accurate and correct G1000 feature? The FSX default C172 G1000 is not professional enough! there is too many important buttons that doesn't work!! It is one of the most airplane wanted on the Simulators world, I fly this airplane in real live, and I would love to do some practice with it. Hi everyone, i just installed EzDok on my new pc, and when i try to configure it using the EZCA Config tool, an error message comes up saying : 'FSX FOLDER OR AIRCRAFTS NOT FOUND. the record in registry not found.' The only option is 'OK'. I have tried the registry repair tool. Im running windows 10 and FSX:SE. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

This has got me stumped. My FSX-SE settings are obviously out of wack but it only happened about a week ago, up until then I have been very happy with my settings and appearance for a good year. Some days ago I downloaded La Palma X and installed the program on my computer (Windows 10, 64 bit) Then I started my FSX Steam Edition and opened a free flight from La Palma airport. When I looked around on the airport I noticed several AI-objects, such as airplanes, ground vehicles, etc. floating in the sky. I have included 2 screenshots showing this event. Since deciding to try out FSX-SE, and in seeing how incredibly smooth it runs, and stays at 30 FPS for 98 percent of my flight ops....AND...how much I love the look of the water running under Steve's DX10 Fixer mods, and finally, (this was so important to me,) for what I love to do in flight ops...that water taxi operations are life-like and need minimum throttle input to get moving, and to stay at real-world water taxi rate...well...not seen in either FSX Boxed, or any 32 bit P3D version that I have owned. My Free Flight aircraft selection window, as well as my main flight windows both have a square green box in the top left corner of the display. This happens for all aircraft on all views. Has anyone had experience with this before? Perhaps someone may have an idea where this is coming from and how I can get rid of it.

Hello guys, I've recently bought this (http://secure.simmarket.com/mk-studios-fuerteventura-2017-p3d.phtml) scenery from the MK and I was wondering if it's possible to run it in FSX SE. It's the same 32 bit environment so I suppose it could work, right? Sadly more and more developers stop to support FSX. I have PMDG MD11 there which I love to fly and that's the only reason I keep my FSX. As for the other addons I can use P3D this never received an update... Do any of you have experience with running P3D scenery under FSX? Cheers, Mike

Hello! I have gotten addons and GSX wasn't working, so i deleted it by uninstalling it removing other file left behind. However, after i did that, this pops up when i first startup FSX:SE This graphics card does not meet minimum requirements for shader support. This product requires a geForce3/Radeon8500 class or better graphics card Flight Simulator will now exit. and after i click 'OK' on the bottom, it pops up again, then it crashes the game. So I'm reading the 738 FCOM v1 and I see that in the limitations section it says: "APU bleed valve must be closed when: • ground air connected and isolation valve open • engine no. 1 bleed valve open • isolation and engine no. 2 bleed valves open." At the same time, in the Normal Procedures section when you read the preflight checklist, it says that you should have both the Engine bleed valves open and the APU bleed valve, and that you should confirm that the "dual bleed" light is iluminated. This seems pretty weird to me since a) this contradicts the limitations chapter b) the dual bleed light is an orange light, which usually to my understanding indicat…

I have FSX and I also have the RealAir Duke B60. I followed the instructions from Bert Pieke on how to install the GTN 750 into the Duke. I created the rxpgns.dll file and inserted it into the FSX Guages folder. When I made the changes to the panel.cfg file and went to save the file I got a "Access Denied" warning. It would not let me save the file. Not great with computers so I'm not sure why it will not let me save the file. I have made other changes to config files elsewhere and never had this problem. Can someone please point me in the right direction? Thanks. Rodger
