Im trying to replace to horrible desert looking default fall textures with those made by leclercq. Ive installed everything correctly within Scenery/World/Texture, but the default textures are still shown as before.

After years of flying piston ac, mostly DC3 addons, I am transitioning to TP and jet aircraft. Reactivated long (5 years) dormant VATSIM account, joined a VA that will allow me to fly my DC3 while progressing my pilot career, bought some GoFlight panels to go with my CH setup and am enjoying the H out of it all as I near retirement. Saw this old thread while scanning for Skycatcher. Wanted to add that as early prototype looking a model the Abacus version was/is, it is the only one that will work in P3D v4. None of the Garmin 300 displays in the superior looking Flight1 model display at all. But all is not lost, I took the avionics from the Abacus version (typically on sale for under $10) and merged them into the Flight1 version (Free) for a quite satisfying result. I just recently transitioned to FSX:SE and I have the GTN 750 installed in several of my airplanes. Just wondering if anyone else has had the same problem I am having since changing over to FSX:SE. The GTN 750 works perfect except for one thing. I have lost the "Import" button. In it's place I have a "catalogue" button. I can no longer import flight plans into the GTN 750. I upgraded to version 2.04 but it did nothing to fix my problem. I have been on the Flight 1 forum but apparently no one seems to know what is causing the problem. I was told to download and install v2.04 but that did not help. Not sure if it is FSX:SE or the GTN 750 causing the problem. I wou…

I have uninstalled fsx-se and then reinstalled. I have this little green square in the top left of my display for any flight I perform.

I have came across many references to using an "aiming point" in order to judge current FPA for assisting the glide path. However even low as 500' it seems to be impossible to actually see such a point where detail remains stationary along the trajectory. Obviously when FPA diverges to a great level (more than 9 degrees or less than 1), it is visible that the runway surface wont be hit anymore, but when it comes to subtle changes (as it always is during final) its difficult to identify which of the gray pixels along the center line would represent the aiming point, and how it moves in meters every second. Any contribution to the subject would be appreciated.

Hey Guys and Gals, want to see if you can help me with an issue I am having with FSX. Out the blue, on start up, I keep getting the FSX requires min display error. I have taken to the internet and tried the following suggestions; update my video driver, edit the FSX.CFG file to reflect my current graphics card display output settings, and even deleted my FSX.CFG file and let the game rebuild it. The only one that works is deleting the CFG. Problem solved, right? The issue is that it keeps coming back. It seems that something in the CFG may be corrupting the file after its first "use", thus starting the cycle all over again. I am completely at a loss right now. …

Hello. I have had this question for a while now, should I buy PFPX or just stick with SimBrief? I've seen a lot of FSX YouTubers use and recommend PFPX, but I'm not sure if it's worth the 50 euros. I haven't had a chance to try it either, so I have to ask the community. Is PFPX worth it over SimBrief. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I have a comment. So, what I would really luv to be able to do, is you know when you pull up "world map" and it shows you your position & some of the other details? Well, the one thing they should have is to make it so you can hold a navigational plotter up to the screen to figure out VOR radials and bearings to destinations, to me that would make it much more realistic.

I have been flying multiplayer and I have noticed while flying my condition levers will automatically go back to shut off and my engines quit. I'll be going along just fine and out of nowhere the condition levers are all the way back. Pulling my hair out trying to figure why this is happening. Any Help out there, please?

Hi all, i have a problem with my Q400 (no wonders pls). I start the Q400 in the default state and my HYD system number 3 is not pressured. I even started from cold and dark just the same as 3 youtube videos but i do not get any pressure on system 3. I start up the PMDGs while sleeping so im a bit "out of the world" right now. I managed to re-install my XPOI after years of gathering dust. I had to download a new add on manager from https://www.fsdreamteam.com/products_xpoi.html I tried a flight using Drzewiecki's Washington DC and was a bit surprised to see that the White House was not pin pointed! I managed to find it but I would have thought it would be one of the first buildings they put in their database as it must be a major tourist attraction.

I have two problems I've noticed since I transitioned to FSX:SE. The first is that after flying the Duke Turbine V2, the first time in FSX:SE it was fine. However, the next time I went to fly I noticed I no longer have reverse thrust. The same thing occurred when I flew the Carenado S550 Citation II. First flight great. Had thrust reversers. Second flight no thrust reversers. Got frustrated so I decided to uninstall the Citation and reinstall. Really bad idea. Now I not only have no thrust reversers, I cannot install the GTN 750. I have tried everything I can think of. Don't understand why the first flight in each of these planes was fine, then why I lost revers…

Hi After purchasing both the A318/319 and A320/321 aircraft from Areosoft what seems an age ago I finally have some free time to learn how to fly these wondeful aircraft. I used to fly regularly from Luton to schiphol in the 90's and would love to replicate this flight so have been searching Youtube trying to find good tutorial videos but they all seem to gloss over large parts of the set up and go too fast for me to let it sink in so i am getting confused ( doesn't take much) Can anyone recommend any good channels to check out where they explain the set up and flight in an easy to follow why that my brain can cope with . kind regards …

Hi All, I both another Saitek Throttle Quadrant and its USB. I will use this for 747-400 to designate Speed Brake, 4engines ( 1 each lever) and FLAP. The problem is, the USB Saitek Throttle doesn't have own ID. It copied the Zaxis and Y axis for yoke. So everytime I move the lever up or down the aileron and elevator moves too. Anyone knows how to set it up? Maybe need another software? Please help me😭😭😭😭 Best Regards Benson

Is there a FSX/P3D pressurized P210 available? I don't think so. As a former pilot of a much earlier unpressurized model, I'm interested in what the level of interest might be for a new FSX/P3D payware model. Moreover, since the Carenado T210M is about 5+ years old, would there be a viable market for an energetic developer? Thanks /Les Parson

Hi, i am new to this site... Everytime I try and load up a flight on final approach in FSX-SE, the thrust in my Aerosoft A320 takes about 10 seconds for it to kick in. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks.

Example, keystrokes for flaps or trim don't work in the cockpit, thoughts?
