Learning the Q400 and FMS but I am a bit stuck. I started by programming a RNAV approach into KEGE and entered a VNAV profile that worked but I ended up to high. I decided to try a VOR approach and started from a saved profile before the TOD. I cancelled the existing VNAV profile, selected the new approach and tried to set up the VNAV again. Everything worked fine and the FMS calculated the new TOD. I set up the AP to fly the FMS plan with Alt hold. As the TOD came closer however the vertical guidance marks on the PDF never appeared and pressing VNAV as I got to the TOD did nothing. Hi All, Major changes to the autogen have been made, the biggest you will notice is the file size. I have managed to rework the vector files and resolved some issue with autogen duplication causing a larger than usual file size. Many areas of vegetation across roads have been removed as well as some major reworking of the building autogen to remove some unusally sized autogen that appeared in a lot of areas. This versions is leaner and gives just as much depth as previous versions as well as tweaking the density to help with frame rate numbers. Hi All, I've been in a fast jet mood lately and been enjoying flying the L39 - Possibly the best payware jet I've yet tried. One thing that always bothers me though is that the airspeed is in KMH. It's fine for the most part, but my brain is just geared for knots, I suppose because everything else I fly is in KIAS. I've heard there is a panel mod out there somewhere that has the ASI calibrated in knots, but the only link I've found seems to be dead. Does anyone have it? I've managed for the time being to very crudely add in markers for knots in the current panel, but I'm afraid my photoshop skills are terrible and I just can't manage to make a decent gauge …

Does anyone how to get the KLN90B (project tupolev) navigation tool to work with the CS B707? It works in the CS 727 and 737. I'm sure I am missing something small. Any help would be appreciated. Regards Trevor

Hi out there With the new q400 pro in P3d v4.1 everything looks to work fine but exept the autopilot . When airborne it wont respond even to Lnav or hdg or Vs , when VS only dots show up in the climb pr minute. Those this have anything to the controls or 125 hz controls to do ??? I am having a peek at my FSX.cfg file and have noticed I have two DISPLAY.Device.NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Ti entries. One is near the top of the file ... [DISPLAY.Device.NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Ti.0] Mode=5760x1080x32 Anisotropic=1 AntiAlias=1 and the second at the end of the file ... [DISPLAY.Device.NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Ti.0.0] AntiAlias=1 The differences are higlighted. Is this normal and acceptable? Or can I expect problems?

Hello! I own FSX boxed and I have had a problem with the autopilot in all of my default and add on aircraft since I bought the game. The autopilot (in literally every aircraft I add into the sim whether its the Carenado PA46T or the default 737 or the Project Airbus A320 or even the default C172 or C208) will only change in increments of 10 for the heading, or increments of 1000 for the altitude. This issue makes it extremely difficult to comply with ATC instructions on VATSIM. Please don't give me any B.S, I have searched the forums already, and no one has an answer so far. Hey, All! Has anyone compared the standard FSX "learning center"/lessons to DTG FSW? As a private pilot, I think the FSW lessons are an insult, and quite comical, to be honest. Therefore, didn't anyone notice that "DTG Flight School" was a complete waste of time? The FSX Learning Center Lessons are so much more realistic! Mike.

Hi, I recently purchased the Q400 and am having trouble getting the controls to work in P3DV4. In particular the throttle quadrant levers. I have assigned throttle 1+2 to my TM warthog and have assigned the 1+2 condition levers to my Saitek TQ and flaps to the third axis of the Saitek TQ. They don't appear to get the full range (i.e. I can get to max power or reverse thrust and I cant get to full flaps or zero flaps). Ultimately I would like to set up the 125 KHz controls (not sure if the throttle levers can be set up to this as well?) The configuration I would like to have would be to have TM Stick - Aerilon + Elevator TM Throttle - Thrott…

Hi all, I just wanted to know how well PMDG 737 will perform on my system. my system details are - AMD FX 8800P (2.1Ghz up to 3.0 Ghz) with Radeon R7 graphics card, 12GB RAM and the graphics card has a total memory of 8650mb (3000 ish dedicated and 5000 ish shared.) I just wanted to know If anyone else has such specs and has PMDG products or any other high level addons.

In FSX I go to outside aircraft view. When I do, it zooms in so close I can see the inside of the airplane. I can't find how to zoom back out to view from a distance. Help! C Franke

I think we all know by know that FSX offers a different experience for different users. No experience is the same. I have been a user of FSX A and switched to FSX SE when it came out. Well, found the old discs and installed it after uninstalling FSX SE. I get better FPS by 9-10, no blurries, and 400mb extra VAS on identical specs, with identical add-ons how can that be? I use Orbx, 3rd party airliners and still dont get OOM on long flights now all of a sudden?

Hi all, I have trouble with T2G's LTBA scenery. Attached you may see the pictures. Runway lights are quite weird , simple, whatever you call them. Moreover the PAPIs are not there. I have made a deep research and saw that they have published some updates ( which i am not sure whether adresses the issues) but cannot reach them since T2G's website is down and they are not responding LTBA related questions. (PS: I run FSX SP2) Any help would be highly appreciated. Cheers! Hakan

Suddenly, some specific sceneries start to exhibit desert ground textures. Ive already tried messing with the appropriate files in scenery/world/texture, but while it did change the coloration around all other airports not beeing plagued with this anomaly, the airports with the desert problem to begin with werent affeted at all. Also it doesnt matter whether addon scenery is applied or not. Some of them are: EDDT, LPLA, LPAZ, LPFL.

How do you get float plane to back away from dock?In real world I would give it a big push and hop onto one of the floats.Do not see this option in FSX or FSUIPC.Thanks,Ron

Hi, Can anyone help please. I have recently downloaded 3 aeroplane addons, 1 from avsim.su (Saab J105-OE) & 2 more from another source (Mooney Acclaim 2004 mod for FSX & Stearman PT13-A). My problem is that elevator & aileron controls are not working on all three downloads on either joystick or keyboard. When moving the joystick the yoke moves too but not the elevators or ailerons. Throttle is working OK. I don't have this problem with any other addons. Any help gratefully received.
