Hello, everytime when a fly in a straight line, it just slightly points down with joystick on the center untouched, with mouse yoke its fine it goes straight

I just did a search and didn't find anything related to this so I'm posting here now. Using FSX Acceleration. Never had problem flying the F-18 before. Did a full flight two nights ago without problems, but ever since when I try to fly it within minutes after starting the engines they both shut down. (this can happen while just sitting on the ground, taxiing, in flight) There is adequate fuel, no "failures" have been chosen in settings. I'm at a loss to figure out why this is happening. Can anyone help me correct this problem? Thanks in advance for your help! Mike

And yes I have been to the GSX forum for assistance but I'm getting nowhere with him... My problem is this, my GSX isn't off loading the same crate liveries that were loaded from the start of the flight. Example 1: how it should be. Load with British Airways ground handling and get loaded with British Airways Crates, fly to destination, get serviced by lets say Lufthansa and British Airways crates would still come out of the cargo hold. As the titles states, several of my joysticks buttons will create a screen shot on Steam. When I'm done with a flight, I'll have over 100 shots, and its annoying hearing the shutter every few seconds. I've checked FSUIPC, LINDA, and in FSX itself. Nothing is assigned to do that. I've tried going into the Steam app to see if I can find assignments there and that site is like the twilight zone. Any help would be appreciated. Gnacino

Hi there, I have a problem with Smoke from Factory and Power Station Chimneys, with the NL2000 Scenery Package in FSX. The smoke Spokes out like Searchlights from the Chimney, rather than rising as it should from the top of the Chimnies, every single factory chimney near Rotterdam this happens for. Since September when Windows 10 Creators Update version 1703 came out and now especially since 1709 is in place I can no longer operate FSX-SE due to so many crashes and error messages that lead to crashes. I have factory reset my MSI PC actually six times in two months, spent many dollars with my local tech shop, had three long conversations with MSI and four conversations with Microsoft. Microsoft today has informed me that it is no longer compatible with Windows 10 since the Creators Update (now at version 1709) came out in September. HI guys I am thinking of buying a 737 payware for FSX SE and since my computer isn't a gaming one im having trouble deciding on the ifly or pmdg. Here are my specs, Intel i7-3632QM CPU 2.20GHz 8gbRAM and Intel 4000 graphics (Total graphics memory:1824 MB and 128MB video memory) Based on my specs which one do you think will have the best frame rate.

Returning to FS and this reading up more on real flying to better understand what is being simulated. Last night was reading about effects of wind on take off and landing. Got me wondering if this is simulated in FSXSE?

Hello guys! I am having a problem with FSX:SE during a flight. So let’s say I am in a flight,and clicked the exit menu. Then the background of the exit menu is not black. Instead,it remains showing the cockpit. Usually,if you click the weather,Time,airport,aircraft,setting,then the background of the menus is just black. But in my case. The background is still showing the picture of my Pflight.

curious if anybody has tried out the justflight otter yet?? found a few previews but no reviews. especially curious about the fps and if the engine modeling is default fsx or if it more accurate. cheers,-andy crosby

Hello to all Pilots. I am trying to find if someone has the same scenery problem as I do with KPAE airport. I have UTX USA which makes no changes when Enabled or Disabled. From FSX\Scenery\World\Scenery\ I found 2 files which make scenery problem. I renamed files: Snohomish Co KPAE_ARP.BGL and Renton Mun KRNT_ARP.bgl then it reduced little the view problem. It happens with KRNT airport too. My KPAE scenery problem can be seen here ......

Finally the business jet world is starting to get some traction in the sims. Gulfstreams will always be a taboo topic but there are alot of great options left to be built. What would you like to see realistically in FSX and P3D? For me.. Bombardier Global Express Challenger 300 or 350 Falcon 2000 and 900 A good Lear 45 would be very very welcome as well.

I recently got the JF 747 HD, not loving it much but oh well. I have seen plenty of videos online and an avsim review that show this planes vc having an INS. How do I select that as an option as I really hate the FMC it comes with.

So I went to open up FSX to do a flight and I saw that Steam was implementing an update and part of it was to help stop some of the stuttering in games. I have been experiencing stuttering and at times some severe stuttering. Well I went ahead a flew a one hour flight and to my delight "Zero" stuttering. I assumed it was because of my Orbx scenery that was the problem. So what ever they did seemed to work for me. Hopefully it will continue to work. Thanks Steam!!

I'm trying to get this going, I have windows 10 64bit FSX wich is 32 bit and I've had no install issues only I can't seem to get a proper configuration.... I've checked out the most recent guides but they are not very recent and I have no idea how to find current map version? Does anyone have this working that could help me get this setup? I downloaded some "pre prepared user.ini" which apparently was totally messed up and through all that guide the guy never actually shows exactly what its supposed to say.

I was looking over this guys claim to have changed fsx to 64 bit and it made me laugh. I was part of a team that got permission from epic games in 2003 to take their Unreal 1 engine source code and more importantly the headers which they released to us exclusively so we could take a 16 bit program and make it 32 bit, basically we released a final unofficial game patch that turned U1 engine into U2. All I did was created new material to actually make use of this new power we had.. which was useless for the original meshes and textures and animations and all that.. well it played faster but heck fast enough is fast enough. It wasn't like that before but now it is! I can't run both together, and only can use one or the other while streaming on twitch. FSX Isn't the error here (thank god) It's OBS and Active Sky's. When streaming and running both those programs (OBS/Active) the stream becomes very lagging and the game plus the CPU usages goes up to high. If I stream without Active Skys I get no problems at all, and it tends into a good stream. Active Sky's! runs high as 45% OBS (depending on the settings) around 30% So, when not streaming I can use Active Sky and fly with no game lag, regards streaming I can fly and stream with no lag on game and twitch with active off. Running FSX:SE and I need to find out how to fix the Halo.bmp. I have REX TD installed and now the landing lights on the Majestic Dash 8 are blue. I'm not sure why because I had used other replacements when I first got REX and didn't notice this. I've tried changing the preset REX lights and it still gives me blue landing lights. Doesn't affect the interior view much but outside looks ridiculous. How can I have nice replacement lights, such as the smaller more realistic REX ones without a blue tint? And where would I go to obtain a new file? It's not like I have a DVD and I'm not gonna run the repair within stream and have to reinstall all my other texture rep…

I am having difficulty in installing add on scenery on a friends computer. I have successfully installed New Zealand Vector Land Class but when I install other add ons although they appear in the Add on Scenery folder and I activate them in the scenery library they do not overwrite the default scenery. I am quite proficient at installing and activating add on sceneries and I cannot understand why they are not showing up in my friends FSX program which was correctly installed with both service packs an is running fine. Any ideas please?

Is there someplace free that I can get current cycles, or even recent cycles without paying for them?

I am so gutted ! I'm using a Windows 10 Home OS. For years I have enjoyed a great hobby and pastime, invested a lot of money with add on's etc including ORBX sceneries. Now the latest Windows 10 upgrade 1709 has put a stop to all that. FSX -S opens OK, but any command from the menu produces the "An unsupported operation was attempted" followed by program shut down. Apparently the 1709 upgrade has affected many FSX-S users. I've reinstalled FSX but made no difference. There doesn't seem anything else I can do. I was thinking of buying P3D to replace FSX, but apparently many P3D users are experiencing problems as well. Microsoft really sucks ! Its …

Hey guys. Just came across the strangest issue here. I installed a new aircraft I got from Aerosoft, the Bronco, and the fsxexe appears to be gone along with the core files. Where the icon usually is in an image of a person with a crossed out symbol over it. When I click on on it it says "Can't open this item". Its very strange and I've never come across this before. I tried a reboot, and then a system restore, to no avail. I'm on a Windows 7 machine running FSX acceleration boxed. I know that a full reinstall would probably fix the issue, but I have well over a hundred products installed and am trying to avoid this. The other files, like Simobjects, appear untouched. If …
