Any comments or reviews of the IRIS Simulations PILATUS PC-24 SVJ ?

Yesterday I flew out of Edmonton, and the temp was -25 C. Both engines took multiple times to fire up, running normal starting procedure. They would start to spin up and just die. I read a tip this morning from another Q400 pilot on Facebook Q400 group, and he suggested I run the deice program in the FMS. I did that this morning and despite the fact that it was even colder, -29C, after running deice, both engines easily started.

I let FSX build a new cfg. Everything went well, except I do have no more ai traffic at all. (WoAI) I crosschecked with my old saved fsx.cfg and copied over the missing "SimObjectPaths" for the ai traffic, but still no traffic Any help very welcome Peter

Good Afternoon I was wondering if anyone out there could give me a hand with a problem I am having with GSX from FSDT. I downloaded updates from Ray Smith for KLAX, KIAD, and KORD. The updates are great looking, however when i go to use GSX from FSDT the gates are either out of position, or they don't show up as read by GSX at all. I was wondering if anyone out there ever had this issue and if so they could help explain a fix for someone who is not that computer bright. thanks in advance for all your help Ian Snow

The description doesn't really give me much of an idea. Is it a weather engine, or just a texture redo for the clouds and weather of FSX?

I was going to post this in the MOBO / CPU / Etc. forum as a mini review of my new 15-8600K build. But as I started to type it I realized that while I was impressed as I could possibly be with the horsepower of my new computer, I was really more impressed with FSX itself. Let me explain. I grew up during the dawn of the PC age. I cant get the autopilot to work , i click alt hold and heading hold but doesnt work , anyone have this helicopter?

https://ibb.co/hfyQPw I am trying out the FS-FightControl trial version. Notice when I click the maximise button at the top then the program no longer shows the right hand and left hand buttons. Is there a way to resize the FS-FC window so that I can see these missing buttons? Thanks.

My altimeter is now showing neg240 and only respons a little to the baro key.....has windows 10 broken it again, ie is anyone else getting this. P3d4

Hello everyone! I used to have Preview DirectX10 checkbox in settings but now it's gone missing. I did extensive research online but none of the fixes that helped others is working for me. I'm running FSX-SE on Win10. Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4710HQ CPU @ 2.50GHz NAVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M, 16GB RAM. I already fully uninstalled it and reinstalled but it didn’t help. I was looking for SweetFX files like some other users were reporting on other forums but I have none of those files. I feel like I run out of other options besides formatting everything which I’m trying to avoid. Any help would be really appreciated!!! Thanks!

Hi, I typically have FSX AffinityMask set to 14, with the main FSX load on Core01. The Q400 provides smoother flight when I change back to the FSX default of 15 (for a quad core CPU). So.. question: Are there specific settings in the Q400 ini file that play nice with AM=14? The comments in the ini file make me think there likely are - but it is not clear to me how to select them.

Title says it all. I am getting consistent CTD's when powering on the WX Control. Windows 10 latest update, P3D 4.1 Academic. When this started happening I uninstalled/reinstalled aircraft and this is still happening. Very frustrating. Mike

I spent good amount of time looking at A380 and all of them are just rubbish! there aren't any good A380 that you get get as regards to payware. I seen one yet I thought at the time that I known to be an freeware A380 that was better then that payware. Only one that I Seen that looks good was from Wilco.. even then what you pay for isn't that good! I'm going to do an A380 flight night next week and darn I can not get any good one's PS: Also Abacus A380 Version 2 is on sale!!

Hi, Just wonder if there is any "top of the line" Caravelle, Convair 440/880/990 or Airbus A310 with VC developed somewhere for FSX?

Hi all and a happy new year! I was flying into LEIB (Ibiza) yesterday and a strange thing happened! Right at the start of the approach path, floating 2000ft above the sea and going up to an altitude of maybe 5-6000ft, was this concrete pole.. (see picture attached)! I have Aerosoft's Ibiza Evolution, but disabling that in the scenery library doesn't remove this structure, nor does reducing the mesh resolution. I do have UTX Europe and I haven't tweaked with that - but there's no conflicting airports or AFDs for the area. Hello, I have noticed when using my flight1 GTN complete that when I am flying some ILS approaches when I break out of the clouds I find I am off to the side or the runway or the rwy numbers don't correspond with the gtn . I was thinking of updating my nav database and mag var.. Question Do I use http://www.aero.sors.fr/navaids3.html or https://www.fsaerodata.com/ with the navigraph. Or is there a better solution. I am only looking for a one time update since the gtn's data is from 2016 I think. The other problem from what I gather is I use the built-in fsx flight planner. I'm doing a full reinstall of FSX (coming back!) but am having some issues. Hi all, this is my first post on this forum, so sorry if its in the wrong place!! I am trying to design some scenery for an airport. But when I try to add my custom runway I just get glitchy textures (see photo). In Airport Design Editor I have tried to add a flatten vector, but this did not work... Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do to fix this??? Thanks in advance!

Hi, I have recently installed P3D v4. I have installed Linda v 3.0.5 including FSUIPC v5. In addition I have also installed iFLY for P3D v4. Everything works fine! I also own an "old" MCP 1 from VRinsight. For Default FSX/P3D airplanes the MCP works fine. Is there a iFLY module for Linda available for P3D v4? Thnks

Hello I have been flying the Carenado B1900D for my virtual passengers for the past year and find the 19 seat capacity is no longer sufficient and would like to find something larger but not ready for the 737 just yet. Am looking for something that can hold between 50 to 100 passengers, has a bit more depth than Carenado either prop or jet but will not take me an age to learn how to set up and fly. Does anyone have any recommendations? Many thanks
