HI I've programed the FMC thro' the CDU on my 737 Pilot in Command (a simplied programming version from the manual) and am trying for an ILS approach with the Autopilot. With one of the autopilots is armed, and when the glide slope and localizer deviation indicators appear on the EADI, I select Approach on the MCP and select the second autopilot. Both autopilots should now be armed but I find that the first autopilot disarms. How can I prevent this happening?

Hi everybody I use RealityXP GNS430 gauge with Eaglesoft SR20 Cirrus and try to find a solution for the more realistic configuration to train IFR approaches. Thus I bought the RXP unlimited license to have a double GNS configuration. It works, but the Cirrus PFD is always working with GPS1, even when I select GPS2 using the bezel buttons. It is this impossible to me to play an approach which requires to track a route to/from a waypoint until interception of another route to/from another waypoints. The VOR parts of the two GNS seem to work properly, but the GPS's don't, only GPS1. Any idea please? R.

So, everyday a new airport is added to the list of available airports. What does this mean? That , in theory, the entire list of the sim's airports is being made over. To what end? Are airport designers appealing to those users who live near them? I just don't see where all of this leads. Regions perhaps, but discreet airports? How many airports can one individual realistically buy before realizing the tremendous cost that these represent? I'm just wondering whether one of these days all of these airports will run out of buyers.

Hi, I was installing FSX Acceleration pack and it installed successfully but however, when I tried opening fsx, it said scenery.cfg is not installed and I fixed that by downloading one online but then after that, it said seasons.cfg is missing. Not sure what to do now

Hello all Basically when entering and flying a hold on the blackbox A330 it is very small so when im flying round onto the downwind leg the aircraft has to come back in on its self and this repeats around the hold. Is there anyway I can edit a setting somewhere to make the radius larger so the hold is 'wider' and the aircraft can fly it correctly? Cheers Matt.

While taxiing at some airports the ground textures will change near to where the aircraft is moving. This change moves along with the aircraft, while more distant ground textures (ie. more than 300' away) remain stable. I have Orbx sceneries installed however the airports where this happens are nowhere near the Orbx sceneries and I haven't noticed the issue in at any airports in the Orbx areas. I've noticed this issue at SBGR (Sao Paulo) and WIII (Jakarta). Anyone know what causes this, and how to fix it? Best to all, Ken Boardman

If I uninstall and reinstall SP2 for FSX, will I have to also reinstall most addons? I am thinking of trying this because of a strange display problem. I have FSX Deluxe(SP2) and FSX-SE on the same machine (Win10/64) and use Lua scripts with FSUIPC to display things like a/c checklists, selection menus, etc. In FSX when I activate a script to display a list of items I can see the list 'grow' in size, e.g., 10 short lines of info do not flash on the screen as a single display unit as expected, but instead you can see the list grow or scroll down (as if quickly pulling down a window shade), and sometimes there is jitter as the list builds. Is there another Carenado/Alabeo AP that can be used as a popup replacement for the 400B NavoMatic? Getting the 400B to handshake with the Flight1 GTN750 is quite a task.. Otherwise a great aircraft. I prefer it over the Milviz 310

I have vector, global and NA & EU LC but I fly around Japan/Korea and Pacific in general quite a lot. Since ORBX doesn't show interest in releasing LC for hose parts can somebody tell me what other scenery for that region would work with ORBX? Thx

My PC recently failed and I had to take it for repair. During the repair I had Windows 10 installed ( I was previously using 7) and just about everything was wiped off my hard drive, including FSX. I thought there would be no problems in reloading the simulation from the discs, but I was wrong. The first time I tried reloading I received confirmation that it had installed correctly and my Product Key had been accepted. I started to play FS and it worked perfectly but after about 45 minutes it stopped completely and I got the message that my free trial had expired. I never asked for a free trial, I had bought the simulation years ago and have been playing it for years. I u…

I have a dual install of FSX boxed and FSX-Steam. It's a side by side install. I want to delete FSX boxed because I only run the Steam version. How would I properly delete the boxed version? Will it change the file structure in Steam, since a side by side install changes the way the files are labeled? Gnacino

DX10 fixer, DX10 cloud shadows, Traffic (WOAI) at 70 (it gets adjusted by traffic manager to keep no more than 30 planes at the airport), rex texture direct + soft clouds, ORBX Global / Vector, AS16, FSFX packages. Texture settings are balanced nicely and I'm ok with how things look. 8X AA settings in Fixer and Inspector. PMDG 777 I get about 25-30 FPS in VC during landing no matter what time of the day/weather and 50 up exterior. VAS is under control, no more weird stuff going on. Just works. Well almost. Ccntrails. Simple question really ... does the Aerosoft A318,19, 20, 21 have a controllable cabin light switch? Nothing major but I am flying at night at cruising altitude and I looked at the plane from an external camera and the cabin lights are off. Would rather have them on and dim them for take-off and landing. If there is, please let me know.

So i wanted to do a flight in my PMDG 737-800 NGX from UMMS to UUEE so i put in UMMS in origin in my fmc it says an error in the scratchpad then i put UUEE in to destination then it says the same error so i go to DEP/ARR then i go to UMMS Dep, then no SIDs or runways shows up in the fmc same thing with the STARs this was very recent and i havent done anything to my files yesterday it was working fine then i opened fsx and then this happend I tried again with the PMDG 777 200 and 747 but same problem please help Thank you.

These strobes have vanished, all other strobes are working. Beacon, strobes on aircrafts. But not approach lights with strobes. Or Running Rabbit as some call it. Anyone know about this and how to fix it. Already checked with ADE and they are defined. It is a freeware ESSA Arlanda Sweden. Tested other airports and it does not work. I've been troubleshooting an issue with FSX Mesh. Every now and then I get random lines, squares, triangles and other random shapes on my scenery. It does become frustrating during final approach. Has anyone experienced this on FSX? is there a fix to this?

Hello friends! From a few time that I have a problem with my FSX from Steam, and I didn't have any success to resolve it! All the PC is OK, upgraded, and the FSX software reinstalled and working good, with the letters of the menu, ilegible!!! Can anyone help me with suggestions? Thanks in advance. Kind regards

I few weeks ago I went on the Steam store and very excitedly, I purchased the FSX:SE Aerosoft A320/321 DLC. It said in at the end of the long narrative that the RAAS professional DLC is not available with this pack. I thought....oh well big deal. Recently I have visited the Aerosoft site to check on their products and I find that the same exact pack WITH RAAS is avaialble for sale at the SAME PRICE!! Steam is selling the add on pack with the A318/319 with RAAS for the same price as the other pack on Aeroosoft's site. What gives?! i JUST INSTALLED FSX ON DRIVE C IN WINDOWS 10 There is no menu bar at top. drop down shows menu bar unchecked. Everything else works
