Please, how do I get keyboard input to the FMC CDU scratchpad in the 737 Classic?

I'm using FSX-SE. My default airport bldgs are no longer showing. I reinstalled FSX-SE, but have the same problem. I'm puzzled. Help.

Hello All, After many years away from FS, I have become very interested again and installed FSX Steam Edition and logged many many hours over the holidays. Over the past two weeks I have been looking for a good solid working freeware add-on for a B777, preferably -300ER but a -200 will do (as a GE Aviation engineer my preference is a model with GE90-115B engines :smile:). I have done extensive searches and have found lots of links to POSKY and MELJET models, and have found some that have no VC, others that have a VC that only has about 2 functioning buttons, one where the engines were "blacked out", several where gauges are blank, etc. I have spent countless hours…

Flight simulators have a way of bullying me. If it ain't one thing it's another. This afternoon right out of the blue they got me again with something I never saw before. I tried to start FSX_se and got this message: Migration Tool has disabledFlight Simulator X to prevent corruption of configuration files. Disable redirection in the tool to run the simulator. I went to FSX/Orbx/troubleshooter and ran the migration troubleshooter program and it says everything is fine. I then forced a migration but it didn't fix anything. It's not easy being dumb as a load of bricks when it comes to flight simulators. Noel

Hi guys, I am facing serious problem now. Since I inject weather using my REX Essential Plus Overdrive everything seems okay on ground but as soon as I overclimb altitude 2000-3000 ft my wind became 358/0kt and that is weird and unreal. I have newest possible version installed 3.7.2013.0715 and FSX is SP2 too. I have settings as you can see on screenshot. I will really appreciate any help from you guys here. Have a nice day

Getting only skelitizied aircradt and/or no taxi lines. Happens now very often. Takes several Flight Camcellations and reload to fly. MSFS FSX Free Flight, Aircraft PMDG373NGX, After loading flight in flight planner, FLY, requesting Taxi info. Choosing outside view two things happen with increasing regularity 1. Aircraft is skelitized 2. No reaction to choosing Progresive Taxi. Getting very FRUSTRATING!!!

Good Day. I do not have all my existing planes in P3DV4 in the list cameras / list cameras for a specific aircraft type? For example the legacy of realAir compatible P3DV4. So I can not affect them from camera view. Do you have an idea ? Thanks Eliott3

I'm about six months into my sim career, so please give this noob a little altitude... something I haven't had much luck resolving with research, is DH/MDA, and how to properly use this. My question is do you use both of these, or just one? On approach plates, you get two minimum altitudes take KMDT ILS LOC RWY 31, you have both 558/50 and 250/(300-1). Can someone give me a quick rundown on the intended usage? I'd really appreciate the help.

Ok, I'm sure this topic has been posted before i just cant seem to find it. I have downloaded and added a number of third party scenery offerings over time with really no issues, however, lately I have encountered two separate new 3rd part airport scenery paks I downloaded, that "AI Flight Planner" has eventually identified, but FSX-SE has not. I have tried everything I know and FSX-SE still do not show these airports in the (FREE FLIGHT - SELECT AIRPORT) window. I actually viewed and edited each of these airport files in AFCAD and saved successfully. AI Flight Planner see's them, FSX-SE does not!! Hello All, I just got finished buidling a new computer system for FSX. I used to run FSX on another computer with Win 7. I have many add-ons including FSUIPC and Simconnect. All of the add-ons that require a connection to FSX connected and communicated just fine. With the latest machine, I have installed Win 10 on it due to the CPU and MB no longer supporting Win 7 (i.e. there are no drivers in Win 7 that support some of the new H/W). I have installed FSX, FTX/ORBX, PDMG aircraft, TopCat, and other addons.. So far everything works fine except when i use TopCat to update my PDMG fuel and Payload, it wont update the A/C. anyone using contrails pro?...need advice

Hi all, searched for any fix to exterior lighting problem for the iFDG Airbus A320. Found one article that shows a light section to replace what is in the original cfg file. Tried that and still no landing lights. Has any of you come across this and maybe found a fix for this? It is a great download, would be nice to have that feature enabled, so I could finally call it COMPLETE! Right now it is just a daytime flyer! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks - Rick

I don't know what is happening here. I have reinstalled the OS, Win 7 64 and FSX is a fresh install. I used to use a GTX 560 TI and now I'm using a GTX 1050 TI. As you can see in this video the lights look like beams. When I had this airport in FS2004 they looked great. DX 10 Preview is off.

After trying to install some scenery (X) into FSX/Acceleration I think I screwed up, and now have "198 Areas have Errors" warnings in the Scenery Config Editor. They start at 685 Scenery\AFRI all the way down to 882 Scenery\World. I have deleted the scenery (X) but the errors are still showing in the Scenery Config Editor. Any help will be appreciated.

I have kind of similar problem with FSX Free Flight page. I load the selected aircraft which is similar to Follow Me car and nothing spinning and only the scenery default. I load any other aircraft and it shows spinning but not the Mitsubishi car. Follow Me car spins as well. Just only the Mitsubishi car addon. Mitsubishi loads and works fine. Only from Free Flight is missing. How can I fix it?

Hello all Since i got interested lately in smaller passenger jets and turboprops and default planes are just not enough. I have aerosoft twin otter extended wich is my only commercial addon for now. It is good, but i am not too happy with it due to very sensitive engines...kinda alot of micromanagement. So i was thinking to go a bit bigger like crj 700 or embraers.. Important things to me are price, quality and features. I never flew pmdg or alike aircraft so am asking you guys. I am opened to suggestions. Tommy

Hello all, The aircraft involved are the Realair Turbine Duke V2, and Legacy V1 and V2. With the Duke the instruments show for a second and then disappear. The GTN shows ok. With the Legacies, the instruments don't show at all, but the end results are slightly different. Can anybody shed any light on my problem? Has anybody seen this before? See pics below. I purchased the Overland Incheon International airport from Simmarket, but the airport does not load into FSX. During the process, it does not ask for the serial key either. I click the link and it goes through the installation process, but never asks for the registration key, and then it finishes. The airport is not downloaded into my airport file. I tried contacting Overland months ago, but no reply. They also don't allow any negative reviews of their product either. Pretty lousy set up they got. Cfoley

Can anyone help please. When landing any aeroplane on touchdown I press F1 key and joystick throttle has been set to off, but when taxiing the throttle keeps increasing to about 40% on its own. I have to keep on pressing F1 key. A similar problem occurs on start up. When fsx boots up to the airport gate the autopilot/auto throttle is always on with every aeroplane so I have to press pause immediately & then cancel autopilot, otherwise the plane ends up in the terminal building. Is there anything in settings where these two problems can be alleviated. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Bob

My King Air has no engine sounds when looking forward, forward/left or forward/right. Other views and external are ok. I've searched the file library for a replacement sound file but not found anything. I have set my FSX-SE sound setup to my speakers. Any suggestions either for a fix or source of sound file please? I use MS Flight Simulator X - Just installed the DHC-3 Otter on my Windows 10 machine. All appears to be working except I don't see the actual plane. I only see the passenger windows and pilot sitting in the seat. No exterior plane structure or propeller. Any suggestions ?

First of all I tried posting in the Eagle-soft Forum and had nothing but trouble logging in so I figured maybe I can get a solution here. I can't install the Eagle-soft Citation X FSX into my FSX SE, is it compatible? I didn't see anything on their website that said FSX SE. I did see FSX and all the PREPARED Versions. If is is compatible then when I try to install I disable my Windows Defender. I install the Resources first, then Binaries. My FSX SE is in my ( F ) Drive, that's where i installed it. Hi What exactly is the second autopilot CMD B used for in the Boeing 737 Classic? I seem to be able to do an ILS autolanding OK using only CMD A which I engage for the whole of the flight. In the Captain Mike Ray manual, it states that BOTH autopilots must be armed for an autoland. I'm never able to arm both, the first CMD A disengages when the second autopilot CMD B is engaged after selecting the APP and the approach is then aborted. Ray
