I'm trying to complete a flight in FSX:SE with current (1803) fsAerodata. ILSs aren't broadcasting it appears. Tried several different airports/runways and nothing. I tune the frequency...no ID is heard and NAV and GS flags are present. VORs tune and ID just fine. Curiously, I'm also thinking this problem is manifesting in P3D V4. Trying to finish a flight there and I just realized that the ILS is misbehaving there as well. It's VHHH runway 07L as it happens. So I'll post this in the P3D forum as well. I looked for posts regarding this without success. And there isn't a forum dedicated to fsAerodata as far as I can determine. Any assistance is appreciated.

Hello at all. i am french and I am sorry for my bad language. I have just bought the Mitsubishi MU-2B-60 for FSX / P3D in the laster version. I shall want to have wx500 in my virtual cokpit but Flysimware does not put him anymore. Somebody can tell me where I can find to buy one older version of the MU2B with the wx500 in the virtual cockpit ? I have two licence : reality wx500 and Advantage but i I prefer the implantation of the wx 500 in the virtual cockpit. it is more beautiful. After i think to put the data of the advantage in the wx500 and adjusting the data in the pop up 2D. I hope that you understood me. Thank you .

Is there a way to use flyable aircraft from the SIMOBJECTS\AIRCRAFT folder as scenery objects to place on airport tarmacs to make them look more populated? I'm thinking in terms of older aircraft like Mustangs and B-17s and the like to make sort of an aircraft museum. I can find lots of older Canadian aircraft in the EZ scenery libraries but none of the type I am looking for. I can download the flyable warbirds but how can I display them as static aircraft in FSX_SE? Noel

I left for a bit and came back, originally to a white screen. I pressed the esc,key and that brought up the normal menu for that button. When I clicked continue flight the white screen became black. What was this?

Hi to anyone who can help! I have recently purchased fsx ss and am pretty new to flight sim . I mainly do domestic flights around the uk as I purchased orbx England scenery and the fsx default scenery isn’t great . However the I’ve started doing European flights , and the other day did a flight for EGLL to EDDF(during the night ) . I noticed half way during cruise , over Belgium the scenery went blurry . It was as if West Europe had scenery and Germany didn’t , I could see the lights from the ground over Belgium and France but when I got to Germany , and anywhere further east the scenery was just blurry (see picture ) . Is there a way to totally get rid of this failure of the Landing Gear not retracting despite using FS2Crew and the FO checklisting that the 'pins are stowed'? After all, a bit pointless when the FO has called 'pins stowed' and the landing gear will not retract. This PRO version is beginning to seriously irritate with its random failures. Anyone know how to get rid of 'Failures' in the PRO version?

Hey, so I'm having an issue that I've searched all over the internet for and can't find a solution. I'm having an issue when I load some of my add-on aircraft, to where when I load them, certain functions on my joystick won't work on the aircraft. The odd issue is, while this happens at some airports, say KTUL, if I move the aircraft to KSEA, everything works fine. The only scenery program I have is FTX and I only run Global and Vector, so its not like its a "regional" software add-on that is causing the issue. Hi, I wonder if anyone can help..I've installed FSX steam and it doesn't seem to fly well. I get mini stutters when the aircraft moves, turns etc. Sometimes I also get a blank screen if I switch aircraft on the ground or mid-flight. I've tried basic recommended tweaks and uninstalling and re-installing the game. Also tried deleting folders so they can automatically build new ones, but nothing seems to work!! Even tried minimal graphic/traffic/weather settings. The fps seem to be fine according to the indicator I had, so not sure what the issue is. When I fire FSX-SE up I get a message "Scenery cfg file error. Invalid remote scenery path in scenery area 267. Click OK to continue." I click OK and FSX-SE goes on to load normally. I have looked at the scenery cfg file and there is no area 267 listed. Can anyone tell me what this is all about, please? Thanks Iain Smith

When I first started using FSX-SE, I found that there were a few things to learn that allowed FS9 AI to be converted to FSX-SE and once I learned them, I was usually happy with the results. However, I had an unrelated graphics problem that demanded some fairly complex modifications to certain system files. The result was everything I hoped for graphically, but with one major "downside." I'm aiming to use MR goggles with my flight sim FSX Acceleration. The goggles prefer FSX Steam Edition. My essential helicopter is Schweitzer's 300CBi. If I change my flight sim to FSX SE, will that be happy with my Just Flight 300CBi like FSX Acceration is?

I have installed this Project Open Sky 777-200 package into FSX Boxed: https://www.rikoooo.com/downloads/viewdownload/55/184, and most of the switches/buttons in the VC are not clickable. The only things that are clickable are 90% of the light switches, the starter switches, the apu switches, the flight director on/off switch, and the autothrottle switch. Those are the only switches/buttons/knobs that are clickable. Is anyone else having this problem or know how to fix it? Thanks very much.

I have Windows 7 and I know of the bug when trying to add scenery to the scenery library but for some reason when I click off anywhere it never gets added. I am trying to get my traffic but I have tried other adding airports.

I have FTX global and I’m not sure what’s going on. I’m flying over Virginia and part of my land is spring and then all of a sudden it is snow. Spring is set in fsx as time and season. Any thoughts?

Does anybody have SIMBREEZE - ABU DHABI OMAA installed in FSX? The OMAA airport has jetways in weird position after loaded. They look as pushed up. But when I get closer the jetway corrects the position by itself. Any source where I can get the fix? Tried to contact Simbreeze but no responses. Tried to deactivate SODE, no success.

Hello! I am having a hard time with this issue. It looks like small dots are moving when the aircraft is moving, shaking, or even when i moving my panview. But it only exists on dark color panels The issue locates at the part under the windshield., and i dont know what that is called:( It is black color and everytime i start taxi, or moving my view,it kinda flashes with a lot of small dots moving at that part. I tried to use the original fsx cfg but there was no different anyway, so it has nothing to do with fsx cfg. It would be easier for you guys to understand what i am describing if i could insert a image but i can`t do that somehow.

I had aerosoft schiphol and recorded some landings with FsRecorder and saved them Now I uninstalled Aerosoft schiphol and used Flytampa Amsterdam but there is the problem of runway elevation, when I run playback in FsRecorder, the aircraft touches the begining of the runway normally but then sinks below the level I have FSX SP2 , steve dx10 fixer I have in top of my scenery libraries : 1-Flytampa-amsterdam - 2-Flytampa amsterdam_LC I have in my scenery\world\scenery , the file: AFX_EHAM_flytampa_dummy.bgl Is there a way to manipulate the runway elevation in flytampa Amsterdam to be the same as it was in aerosoft Schiphol ?

First let me apologize if this is not in the right spot. Couldn't figure where to put it. Am having a some minor issues w/ FSX that I can't seem to figure out. 1.) Flights are no longer being recorded in the Log Book. Had this happen before & the only way I could fix it was to re-install FSX. I really don't want to do that again. 2.) A/c radar blips are not showing up on the FMC screen anymore. Never had this happen before. They were showing up just fine, till recently they just stopped showing. Can't figure out why? Already tried re-installing the FMC add-on app, but no luck. Docs don't give any info about this. 3.) The Power Levers on the ISDT Ki…

In FSX-SE, when flying a mission (maybe in Free Flight too, don't know how to really test it since it happens part way through the flight, and I usually don't do my flying in FSX (I use P3D for that)) the elevators will mess up. Part way through the flight (it worked fine for the start of the flight) the full 100% movement of my Saitek yoke is only maybe 5-10% moment of the aircraft's elevators in the sim. Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening and how to fix it? Thanks very much. This is very mysterious to me.
