I use to be able to hit Shift + 2 and Shift + 3 to bring up the GPS and radio's, not the case anymore. I looked in the control settings under keyboard assignments but don't see anything related to either. Anybody have any suggestions as to what I can do to get these back beside going up top and getting them in views/instruments? Thanks

have no problem finding airports in ILS but in VFR get to where airport should be and nowhere in sight. VFR is a bit new for me so have no idea what I can do to correct this; Any help most appreciated

Hi using FMC panel Takeoff o.k climb o.k cruz o.k gets to TOD then descends but crz still appears on engine management screen, even though FMC goes to desc screen. also on final approach when initiate app button will not engage G/S but course is o.k . what am I doing wrong ??

Hi there, I recently bought the Heli Traffic 2009 Program from Flight 1 for Flight Sim X, and it's very good. Is there a conversion Program available ? To convert AI Helicopter Traffic Files into the .xml File Data format used by the program, for Custom Flightplans with AI Helicopter Traffic ? I want to use an AI Helicopter Traffic File from the NL2000 Scenery package. But to type all the Flightplans info, into the Heli Traffic 2009 Program will take me ages, doing it manually Is there a quick way I can do this, if there is no conversion Program available ? Hello, I made an airport by the AirportDesignEditor. I tried to implement the runway data into the database of the PMDG737. When I start at this airport and try to make a flightplan I get an error message when I put in the ICAO Airport code in the FMC. The message is: ''ERR: 18L RWY N/A''. And when I put it in I just see a white circle which symbolizes my airport on the navigation display and nothing when I didn't put it in. I just see then the blue circles of the other airports. How can I fix the problem??

Recently I watched a video showing how to handle various emergencies in the MilViz F4E Phantom II. I was fascinated to see that landing on a military air base equipped with emergency arrestor wires, the tail-hook actually did catch the wire and brought the aircraft to a rapid halt. Can anyone tell me how to activate the wires in a military scenery or point me to location where I could learn how to do it? I'm guessing that some kind of program is also needed. Any help would be appreciated as I have often thought it would be an interesting addition to flying military jets at one of the many scenery addons which simulate the wires on the runway.

Before my computer bit the big one, I was running FSX/SE with "everything!" Running Win 7 /64. Reasonably well, I might add. A big part of that success was fine-tuning Win 7 to be as invisible as possible. No background processes, no screen savers, no nothing. Hello, I have finally set my Warthog up to use fuel cutoff notches as reverse on Q400 via FSUIPC. It's set so idle position is DISC and moving over the detent will press and repeat the Throttle 1 and 2 Decrease until released, however, I now no longer have full reverse range. Weather I hold F2 or use my joystick, levers only move about 10% in reverse and stop, while before it was all the way, so I really don't have much range.

Hi, I was looking at the TSS B777 PW and RR sounds, they sound good on the preview but I was hoping for some confirmation for those who have it. 1. I do not want to hear the flaps traveling inside the flightdeck when selected, do you hear it when the flightdeck apart from sound of the actual flap lever? 2. In cruise does the engine sound fade into the background with the wind, as the actual PMDG when you climb from FL 350 to FL390 for example, the engine spooling up can be heard where in reality it should not even be noticeable? many thanks

Just wondering if anyone knows anything about Sibwings beyond what's on their website. Can't get a peep out of any of their contact emails. They apparently still sell add on planes, but in trying to get support I only get crickets. I need my key to reinstall the plane I have. Maybe they just want me to buy a new one(?)

I reloaded FSX steam onto a spare computer that cannot handle 64 bit. I re-installed my 737 and my 777 models but the 747 v2 has no installer for steam. It keeps wanting a FSX install which is not on my system. Is there a fix or place to download an installer? Thanks.

Hi, I know how to set the affinity for an add on program like rex sky force in task manager, but as soon as you exit it you lose that setting. Is there away to set a program to run only on say core 0 and hold it there, or do you just have to do that every time. Thanks for help.

Can anyone reproduce this issue? Look at the airspeed after touchdown. I tried the following settings: 90 degrees crosswind at 36 knots, slam the aircraft onto the runway and keep maximum forward pressure on the yoke upon touchdown.

I have been away from FSX for a few years, so I may not have done this properly. I tried to install a Cessna 182 from Flyaway last night but the plane did not appear in the aircraft selection menu. The accompanying instructions said to use the Extract to: function and navigate to the Sim Objects/Airplanes folder as the target. Having done that I found that the addon's name appeared beneath every repainted version of the stock Cessna 172 in the menu, though the proper thumbnails remained in the menu. Hi Folks. I have just bought the iFly 737NG for my P3D4.2. I did have the P3D3 version and I flew it a lot, so I am very familiar with starting this aircraft up from cold & dark. But in this P3D4 version, I follow the start up procedures to the letter, but at the end of it all after starting engines successfully even I end up with an ELEC warning on the glare shield, and the 1st officers display does not show the artificial horizon. I cannot see why I am getting this 'elec' warning. Does anybody know if there is something I need to do with P3D4 version that I didn't do with P3D3? Thanks folks John

Hi All, I know this is the FSX SE forum, however after getting very little response on the UT Live support forum, other then a few reply from licensed users, and certainly none from the support staff, i decided to try here for any solutions to the below problem. I purchased UT Live 2 weeks ago and it worked brilliantly. Now the application crashes when opening the interface to configure it. The dreaded UTLIve has stopped working popup appears and the program crashes. Hello, I have two weird issues with my ERJ 145: I cannot move my throttle when AP is engaged. I tried disabling the Disable Joystick Axes when AP is On option in the configurator, but without any luck. I use FSUIPC and disable the controllers in FSX, could there be an issue? All other birds, including the NGX work fine. When climbing and cruising using the FLC mode, speeds set in the FMS are not achieved. But the weirdest thing is that they aren't even set correctly, I can see the blue speed bug always at a lower speed than required. Do you have any clue?
