I've been having a great deal of trouble making it through the "Carrier Practice" mission in FSX-SE. After much practice I seem to be able to make a successful landing about 50% of the time and after many attempts have managed to get 3 successful traps in a row, but 5 remains elusive. In particular I constantly find myself landing short with the AoA indicator telling me to lower my nose more. What am I doing wrong? I attempt to come in at about 600' with speed of 150kn but basically have to have the nose so high that I can't even see the carrier. Hi I had the whole set-up with PMDG 777/200 then 300ER all sorted on my c drive it was working a treat, iv since tried a new way to reduce the load on my C drive by putting FSX my scenery and PMDG 777s on a D drive but since doing that I cant get the PMDG to initialize or light up, the controls are unresponsive and none of the switches work. its dead in the water or airport you might say. Iv uninstalled and installed till im blue in the face im going nuts and seriously thinking of going back to my C dive only it is so much work especially when iv just finished this setup. I wonder if anyone else has had the same problem and if so how did you get on Bill

Have new 40" monitor and everything is fine except for default DHC Beaver where VC view is off center to right so I am looking up left side of plane.All other planes are fine.Any thoughts? Thanks,Ron

Hi, After a long time, I returned to MS FSX, and decided to fly with my all time favorite Boeing 777-300ER. I downloaded POSKY Singapore airline package from simviation(Link:http://simviation.com/1/download?file=SIA_773ER_FSX.zip&fileId=49898). I did this: 1. I loaded the aircraft at a gate. 2. Since it is placed too front to the gate, I used push back(Shift + P) to align correctly with the line. The Posky push back tug appeared when i turned on the push back and went off when i turned the push back off. (Note : I used the native FSX push back option and not the POSKY push back) 3. I got a new computer. (I had windows 7, on the old one) Windows 10(new) installed. When I installed FSX-SE every thing seemed ok. But when I tried to install an add-on location, I couldnt find "add-on scenery" in the folder it wasn't there. Any ideas? I also have an problem with some of my airports (KPSP) the aircraft are underground. I do have a lot of ORBX addons. I have tried the "verify integrity of game" in Steam, still no ADD-ON SCENERY IN FILE. Any ideas? Please help i'm 75 tomorrow, and miss using FSX-SE Thanks, Paul

Hi everyone, I believe I found a problem in Scenery Configuration Editor Version 1.1.2. On a system with a dual installation of FSX:MS and FSX:SE, when it is set to point to the scenery.cfg file in C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX-SE , it generates error messages because it still looks for the scenery path in FSX:MS. So if the same scenery with the same path is not installed in both versions of FSX, it generates a "Path does not exist" error. It does this even though the path does exist and the scenery is installed in FSX:SE. I was wondering if I can run the aerosoft a320 on my PC here are my specs Intel i7-3632QM CPU 2.20GHz 8gbRAM and Intel 4000 graphics (Total graphics memory:1824 MB and 128MB video memory) I can run the majestic q400, ifly 737 and qw 757 very well.

Sometimes my FSX SE freezes before I take off or minutes after take off. It doesn't matter which plane. I have a relatively high end computer using Windows 10 and Defender for the AV. The FSX SE settings are on max, but autogen is set on dense. Air traffic is both at 50%. When I change camera views nothing happens on the screen, but I can hear the sound change.

I am having trouble installing airport scenery in FSX-SE The airport is in the folder Addon Scenery, Scenery folder. Mine is. Program Files(x86)\Steam\Steamapps\common\FSX\Addon Scenery\Scenery\egff_upd I Start FXS-SE, go to Settings, Scenery Library, Add Area. I now go to “Look in” and scroll down to FSX. Click on Addon Scenery. This brings up 2 Folders. Scenery and Texture. This is where I get confused. What do I put in Directory, And Scenery Area Title ? FRAME RATES getting murdered. can anyone help me with this? Ive tried many tweaks with fsx cfg file, dialed back scenery sliders and more. But still struggling with mid teen numbers with the scenery complexity set at sparse or in the config file image complexity 2. Running a fairly high end pc. i7 8700k Geforce gtx 1080 Looking at the graphs the gpu seems to be doing it with ease but the cpus are working pretty hard... Any suggestions are welcome. I have Very Interesting and Mysterious "LOW FPS PERFORMANCE problem" in FSX Acceleration. Interesting, because my system doesn't have a low configuration, and I tried many different performance tweaks. BUT in my all tries I always got a terrible performance as "My Average FPS: 6.150 - Min: 4 - Max: 8" (measured by FRAPS)! I’ve never reached an average FPS even 8 or above until now! I am curious, what are some free or cheap FSX addons that could enhance my overall experience? I already have the PMDG 737, 747, 777, TOPCAT, PrecipitFX, GSX, and several airport addons. I mostly do airline flying and would like to know how to enhance that experience. For example, I heard of an addon that simulates your life as an airline pilot, so you get dispatched to an airport and you start up at the airport that you left off from (I can’t remember the name of that addon, please help). Any suggestions are much appreciated!

I have a Problem with my ImagineSim Shanghai ZSPD, one Terminal Building looks perfectly fine while the other one is pretty much completely black except the jetways. I`ve reinstalled the scenery many times but haven`t found any solution to my problem yet. Hi, I install the pmdg 737 and I have some problems . When I start the flight I select cold and dark ,but when I prepare the airplane for pushback and start engines, Engine 2 Show me low oil pressure , I checked the oil quantity and it was 12 ,but engine 1's oil quantity was 15 . please Help me ? NOTE : I followed all tutorials and the problem is still. ?

If anyone can please help me I would greatly appreciate it. I am running FSX Acceleration. I also have FSX at War. Yesterday I downloaded and installed the Carribbean Theater in FSX at War, after doing that I noticed there was an updated to FSX at War, so I then downloaded and installed the latest updated to FSX at War. Now, when I start FSX I get the following problem message which I don't know how to solve: "There are multiple objects with the same title name. They must have unique title names. Hello, As the title suggests, I am unable to see through the VC windshields for the Airbus Collection: Long Haul product on FSX:SE. I have other CLS products like the DC10 and BAE146 working fine, but this one doesn't want to cooperate. Please note that it does work when I turn the DirectX10 Preview setting off, but as I hope everyone would agree, the game looks pretty bad with that setting off. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, as I was looking forward to flying the wide diversity of liveries that it comes with. Hello, I just purchased and installed Aerosoft BIKF. I am running it alongside ORBX Iceland demo. When I fly around the airport, I see two different layouts depending on my altitude. If I am on the runway or just after takeoff, I see the runway as depicted in the aerosoft AF2 file. As I gain altitude, I get a different runway. I have no clue where the other runway is coming from. I've deleted all the FTX/ORBX files I can find. I have turned off BIKF in the Vector's AEC. I have now run out of ideas. The odd thing is, no matter what airport bgl I open up with ADE, I can't find that little addition just to the left of the runway. Which leads me to believe I ha…
