Not sure if this is the right spot for this, but couldn't figure where else to put it : I have the Dino Cattaneo F-35 pack. Installed it with no problems, but when I select it before a flight, it doesn't render properly. All I get is a cutaway view. I assume this is because I don't have enuf RAM. Is this correct? My sys. : AMD 3.4Gb Phenom II, MSI Geforce GT1030 2GB Vcard, 8Gb GSkill Ripjaws 1333 RAM, Windows 7 64bit, FSX Gold with Acceleration Pack. Isn't this enuf to run the aircraft? Hello all, Using FSX SE on a lenovo i7 with GTX graphics card with latest drivers. Ever since the latest windows update which for me was the big new one, Ive noticed issues with my graphics My frame rates are fine, and navigating WITHIN the VC of an aircraft is smooth, but when you look around outside or make a turn or maneuver, the scenery is jerky. Its hard to describe but its fluttery, and not smooth at all. but within the cockpit is fine and framerates are ok. Also, when hitting escape to exit a flight or adjusting settings, instead of a black background I can now see the flight screen which I couldnt do pre update. Aside from a few aircraft…

The latest W10 update crashed my system big time requiring a clean install..... yes that's right, start from scratch with backups and apps. and because the latest update is a big stepup for W10, there is no roll back. So the problem I have is, when FSX is installed and I put in my Product key everything is fine. Then when I install the Acceleration disc, the wheels fall off of the cart. I get this product activation error and FSX loads in demo mode. Have fun for 30 minutes then pack it in. a. has anybody else experienced this ? b. any known cure ? Thanks John

Been away for a long time. Old Win 7 machine took a big dump and I lost everything. EVERYTHING! Now I'm getting a brand new top-end machine running Win 10, and I'll be re-installing FSX SE, ORBX, most of the A2A and PMDG inventory, and everything else...weather, FSUIPC, TrackIR, EZDok, etc., etc. Question is, how do I set up Win 10 to run FSX SE clean and proper? Do I worry about DX10? Is there a list of things to change in the OS like there was in 7? The new machine will run FSX and DCS World exclusively - no personal data, no e-mail, no browsers, no nothing. Just 4 TBytes of drives and 32 Gb of fast RAM and a NVidia card with lots of RAM, too. hey fs fans, there seems to be something wrong with editvoicepack v4.0. everytime i go on it, it shows an error message like this: "An error occured in EditVoicePack. Please read the following error message and - if possible - correct the problem. If you do not know how to correct the problem restart editvoicepack and try again.The identifier contains an invalid type prefix: AIR CANADA JAZZ" I don't know how this happened. if anyone can tell me how to fix it, that will be great. towerdude

Hi there, I have found reference on the internet i.e. Flightsim forums, to the Swedflight Pro 2011 FSX Scenery package, which was the FS2004 Airports and Scenery Package from Swedflight, made compatable for Flight Sim X, or a completely reworked and redesigned Version for Flight Sim X. I find a link to the main download, i.e. SWED2011-SYD.zip, quite alot on the internet, but all the website links no longer work, when I try them. The sound randomly shuts off at different points during the flight, and seems to have no relation to anything I am doing. Any ideas on why it randomly mutes? This current flight I was flying the PMDG NGX, and using RC4.

Strange problem here. Running FSX SE, EZDOK, ORBX, REX4 My FSX camera keep rolling. I noticed that EZDOK was shaking a lot, so I disabled it. Upon disabling EZDOK the FSX camera was rolling clockwise, like rotating. So FSX tries to roll the camera while EZDOK tries to keep the camera steady, which results in something that looks like a word not allowed earthquake. The camera does this in VC and some aircraft views. Not in tower, runway etc. This happens on all my airplanes. I have tried to replace the cameras.cfg file in appdata and the FSX directory. Did not change nothing. Have anyone encountered something similar and know how to…

Hello. I am learning to fly PMDG 737-800 NGX using the Tutorial #1 from PMDG. After takeoff it says that plane will accelerate to 250. But it accelerates only to 230. I use To/Ga as said in the Tutorial flight from Gatwick to Schipol. Please help.

I would like to reinstall some add-ons that I have, that were running on my old system (Win 7, Fsx Gold edition). I have REX Essentials Plus, REX Texture Direct w/ Soft Clouds, Orbx FTX Global, FTX Orbx Vector, FTX Trees, all on CD's. I Have checked online and all of these programs are compatible and supported and should work with FSX-SE. Hi everyone, my flight sim has been very stable since I got my new computer a few months with only a few CTD's and no OOM's. But over the last few days, i have been running out of memory on every flight. This happened first on a flight between Miami and Quito. The new Quito airport is not present in the flight sim so i downloaded some simple freeware scenery online. During the flight, i left my desk to grab something to eat and I came back to find the dreaded OOM message. I just clicked ok and the sim closed in the usual way. I put it down to something being wrong with the free Quito scenery i downloaded, so i removed it. My next flight was between New York and Anchorage …

Hello, I fly the PMDG 737 and today i bought the Navigraph subscription. I installed the Navigraph FMS Data Manager but it did not work so i decided to download 1802 manually. I followed the setup instructions, then went to the IDENT page on the FMC but it still says my old 1108 AIRAC cycle. How to fix that? Thank you

Hello: When my plane is on the ground, I get full rudder control right and left ... but when it's up in the air, I get very little rudder. As soon as I'm on the ground again, I get full rudder again. This lack of full rudder in the air is making it impossible to do a slip in FSX. Any ideas for help? THanks!

I installed The latest version of Scenery Config Editor 1.1.9 using FSX_SE in Windows 10. Whenever I exit the program it asks me if I want to quit without saving or save and quit although I have saved before in File/save. I than save and quit and when reopening none of the changes have been saved. I made sure that both links are pointing in the right direction, one being the FSX directory and the other the scenery.cfg in C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX\ . I reinstalled the program twice even entered the cfg location user defined, but no changes are saved neither in the config editor nor in FSX. Hi all, I would like to update my Carenado aircraft to a newer airac cycle, but i would also like to use the default ATC. i know the new airac cycle won't update the default FSX navigation database. So would the default ATC then become unusable? Is there a way to make them both work together? Thanks

And this time, I want to do it right and bug people before clicking "Buy" again. So which payware aircraft is complex, yet has minimal to no framerate impact at all, does not eat VAS for breakfast and is available from JustFlight? Hi, I'm currently having a very strange scenery issue within my FSX environment and am not sure what the cause is or how to fix it. I don't even really know how to explain it so I've included a screenshot from the Top-Down View to demonstrate the problem. The issue it still present in any other view and therefore is not caused by the zoom. I'm using a I7 4790 and a 1060 along with 32gb of RAM. I didn't read the error it gave me, but I just assumed it was one of those innocuous things that you just don't pay attention to and didn't even read it, but whatever it was caused FSX to crash, and I haven't flown since, mostly due to not having time. Anyone else had this issue with AS16? I was flying from CYVR to KSFO in the PMDG 737 NGX V2.

Hello Just wondering if the future of FSX AES has ceased? I look on the Aerosoft forum and no straight answer from Oliver, I have lots of credit but cannot apply them to airports that have not been updated into AES siince Jan this year. Welcome any thoughts.
