Hi guys, just wondering if someone could help me I have had fsx now for a number of years and just do normal flights but recently I have bought a world enhancement package and Airport HD graphics of steam. I’ve installed them but when using FSX the graphics appear to be the same if not worse and the option to select added on scenery is not available can anyone help or advice me on how to get this DLC to work? Well, I took the plunge after a month or so and hearing from some of you here on this forum and made the transition. First I must give credit where credit is due. Thanks to Tristan (Novawing24) for his excellent tutorial on how to do this transition. I followed his instructions exactly and he made it nearly painless. I am now in the process of reinstalling all of my Orbx scenery of which I have a significant amount. That will probably take about 5 - 6 hours but had FSX deleted and FSX:SE installed in about 2 hours as I went over each step 2-3 times before actually doing it since I'm a near moron when it comes to computers. Hi to all, I flew for years with fs9. I had installed some addons and finally I had some wonderful shades of water colors, brownish gray, etc. that varied according to the hours of the day, depending on whether it was sea or river or lake etc.Now, i'm flying with FSX and unfortunately,( I tried Rex essential overdrive and other programs) the shades are much less, and even the rivers and lakes are mostly blue .. how do you have the water situation?

Hi, Does anyone have any info or experience to share on the Barcelona sceneries from Justsim and Simwings? Simwings just released their updated Professional/Evolution series for Barcelona earlier this month and was wondering how this scenery compares in terms of details and performance between the two developers. Tried looking for reviews of the Simwings version on the web but did not find much yet and no comparisons. Comments/feedback? thx Mark

I just reinstalled the Duke B60. There is a constant clicking sound when in the cockpit. It is not there outside the plane. It causes the #2 engine RPM gauge to jump with each click. I would appreciate any thoughts. Thanks, Tom

I have been trying to set the condition levers by using the mouse. I get a rather jerky response in the right direction but as soon as I let go with the mouse, the levers revert to the full forward position. I have tried setting the engine controls in the Majestic Control Panel and FSUIPC settings exactly as advised on http://majesticsoftware.com/forums/discussion/2625/using-fsuipc4-offsets-to-move-condition-levers to use on my Hotas Warthog throttle quadrant, setting them on the two way switches marked engine operation, L and R. I just purchased all of the airports for P3Dv4 in one package. Got my download email within 24 hours, so I'll be exploring a lot of Canadian airports soon. It's over 28 airports, which figures to $5.36 per airport, which I don't think is bad. I had some of these airports for FSX a while back and they looked good. I always liked them and had no complaints. If I email Ralph about support, he seems to answer pretty quickly, within a couple of days anyway. Bob

After inserting Disk 2 when the install is nearly completed I will recieve an error stating "Please Insert Disk" I open and close my CD section of the PC, however the problem persists and the installation ends. I don't want to pirate the install as I would not like to get a virus or anything, I have he activation code, but I get that error when installing.

Downloaded several SWISS textures for PMDG 777-200LRF and 300ER from AVSIM library. I can't find a good zip file to download. None of those AVSIM zip textures files worked after installed via PMDG Livery Manager in the PMDG Operations Center. My experience is after loaded the SWISS aircraft (either 200 or 300) on EPMO Airport I do setup the FMC and as soon as I try to work with LEGS the FSX crashes! But when I load the T7 with any aircraft downloaded and installed via Operations Center the FSX is fine. I want to add SWISS aircraft but the PMDG Livery Manager doesn't have it to select it. PMDG doesn't have SWISS for 747 and 737NG neither. Any ideas where to get t…

When I change A/C in FSX, the new A/C I have chosen has to have its controls recalibrated. It seems that the settlings will not 'save'. The problem is usually that there is very little right aileron deflection, and, or, little engine controls movement. CJ

You may or may not notice an FPS increase, but with FSX (being 32-bit application) the main improvement will be less OOMs (Out Of Memory errors). Other than that, if you're running your weather engine on a networked computer you will experience no FPS drop when the weather updates itself and gets injected to FSX. I say it's definitely worth it for FSX. Maybe worth it as well for P3D, no matter what version. If you like to run a lot of addons like me then it's definitely worth it. Look up in youtube 'frooglesim' channel, that guy has a very easy step-by-step tutorial on how to connect FSX on a network. ;D

Hi all Is there a free website where one can find the location of waypoints etc. I had used Opennav Aviation Database in the past but it no longer works on my PC for some reason. I use FSX-SE and the Aereosoft A320 at the moment with Airac 1708. Based in UK. Thanks for reading this & hope someone can help. Corrie

I have configured my CH Throttles, Yoke and Rudder in fsuipc, and every thing appears assigned and calibrated. When I go into the Majestic Control Panel / Flight Controls, all axis appear to be moving fine. However, when I check the aircraft in FSX, the Ailerons, Elevator, and particularly the Rudder are not moving as expected. In fact the Rudder is not moving at all. Has anyone else experienced similar and know how to fix, as impossible to fly the plane? Stuart

My Hawker Hunter does not respond to the joystick control and refuses to lift-off, even at 150 knots. I've no problem lifting-off with other aircraft. Can someone help me with this problem? Thanks.

Have the new Q400 Pro 64-bit installed in P3D v4.1. Running Windows 10 (no Fall Creators Update yet). The plane loads okay, and everything is working -- that is, sounds are working, switches in the VC work, etc. So far so good. Then I load up the pax and fuel using the MJC84 Control Panel. As soon as I click "Send Data To Flightsim", all animations in the VC stop working, and all sound stops working. But the switches and buttons still "work", in that when I click them, corresponding lights still reflect the status of the switches. As we get close to the end of August many of you are wondering where The MJC group stand regarding the upcoming release of the Q400 for both the TRAINING Edition and the Q400 for the Prepar3D v4 platform. Back in May when the initial announcement was made we hinted to the fact that we would be putting the TRAINING Edition out first and continue work on the Prepar3D v4 Q400 as there was quite a bit of work required with us having to rewrite a majority of the code. Version 2 has only been out a couple of weeks, and I am really surprised I have not heard of this here. Does anyone own this, or know where I can find a review? I have a curious problem which I can't solve. When flying with all radios and autopilot powered on, every time I use the elevator trim button the autopilot automatically goes to autopilot control. I have searched everywhere to see how they are connected but with no luck. I was flying the A2A C182 but I believe this happens with most planes. I am using PFC Yoke and control console. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Tom

I'm posting this peculiar behaviour in case anyone else ever encounters this and wonders what the hell is going on. Yesterday, I took the FSX Mooney-Bravo (non-G1000) out for an IFR flight from Montreal (YUL) to Ottawa (YOW). I take advantage of the auto-pilot while I'm still trying to master straight and level flight. On this particular flight, I was noticing that the plane, even with autopilot engaged had a left-wing-low attitude. This seemed odd given that auto-pilot was engaged. Then it hit me, I had added some rudder trim prior to take-off - enough so I wasn't constantly pushing left rudder during the takeoff role. Evidently it was too much rudder trim for level …
