Hows it going everyone? hope all is well. I am considering starting a VA. But i need some feedback cause i am kinda stuck in the middle of two ideas. 1.) Is create a complete custom Va using smaller airports to build them up like in the real world but focusing on having fun and enjoying the hobby rather than lots of restrictions. Using top notch fleet with the great payware that is out and whatever the future has in store for us. Having routes going around world. etc. 2.) Creating a free flying enviorment. using real world routes from places from like flightaware but being able to insert whatever aircraft the pilot wanted as long as it could make the flight safetly. …

Hi fellow simmers, I recented installed FSX and tried to use Goflight module LGT-II. It looks to me that the module is not recognized by FSX. I used the recent goflight software, and accepted to load the module required file while FSX starts. Unlike FS9, which I had no problem at all using this module, I have no luck at all in FSX. Does any one face the same issue? Does anyone has a fix? or did I do some thing wrong ? Please help. Thanks alot.

Has anyone ever experienced any rudeness from customer support/forums in any of the following companies: Level-D, iFly, PMDG, Captainsim, Wilco/Feelthere? (Or any other ones that I haven't mentioned) I myself have experience not rude but very cold answers from iFly and Level-D. Level-D Are just horrible, especially when it comes to asking them what's next, and Where the hell is their promised 757? By the time they release it, nobody would even remember such plane existed. Or maybe I am asking too much from companies that I spent a lot of money on. (I am a loyal customer, I have not been downloading any of their stuff on Torrents) I pay for good quality aircraft.

I'm at a bit of an impasse with my new system. I really can't go much further until I find out how to include my old but very powerful computer on a network. The intention is to install the full version of FSUIPC and run wide_fs, using the old beast for running weather etc. I'm not new to computers but have never had to create a network before. I've heard there is a ' magic' ethernet cable that makes it easier. Does anyone know what they're called? Jon

Correct me if im wrong AVSIM is about aviation and flight simulaton and not SCUBA diving or SCUBA diving simulation. I think this poor quality "off flight sim" topic should be removed. Sorry if ive upset anyone but im here for flight sim items not SCUBA ... Whats next?

Got a glitch with one of my laptops and could do with some help if you'd be so kind... Don't know how it happened but clicking on a web link no longer takes me via my web brouser, but MS Word instead. I've tried the usual simple fix, but without success. Going through the 'open with' and changing the default prog simply doesn't work. I've also tried uninstalling Word, but then I simply cannot open them at all. I'm reasonably PC savvy, but this has had me scratching my head for weeks! I'm guessing it MAY have been a virus type thing, but don't know for sure. ta!

Today is ANZAC day in Australia and New Zealand, which is our equivalent to Remembrance Day or Memorial Day in the USA. This year I decided to do something different. A couple of months ago my Grandmother passed away, which got my thinking about her life. She was born in 1920, so would have been 19 at the outbreak of WW2. She married and her husband went off to fight in Europe. My father was born in 1942, just after my grandfather was sent overseas. So she was left back home to raise a child on her own not knowing if her husband would ever return. Sometimes we forget how difficult this would have been for the people during this time. War ended in 1945 when she was 2…

A heart warming story....a little boy lost his dad when he fell and died whilst hanging Christmas lights. The little boy obviously felt the separation with his beloved Dad and carried his father's shirt as a comforter everywhere he went. Unfortunately the shirt was left behind in a Delta aircraft, and all seemed lost until Delta came to the rescue http://www.news.com.au/travel/news/delta-airlines-digs-deep-for-grieving-boy/story-e6frfq80-1226626796528

It is believed to be a planned attack on a Toronto to New York Via route. RCMP and FBI worked together on this one, so thanks to the authorities for saving lives from both nations before it could happen http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-22258191
