Hello, As I am sure everyone has heard of the famous PMDG statement 'If there is no market demand, we will not make it.' Well this is how I think we can show them market demand (using the 777-300(non-er) as a favourable example). Do you wish to have a PMDG 777-300(non-er)? A show of hands .

I had few Most of my landings are between 80 and 180 fpm. I'm using FsPassengers to see the numbers. My best landing in an airliners was in PA 320 V3, -52fpm. Yesterday I was flying Bn-2 ISlander in Swiss, some short 30 minute passenger leg, and landed in St. Gallen at -26fpm, I barely felt it, amazing feeling. The cream de la cream of flying is when you greased the landing after a perfect flight. I WILL NOT compare it to making a love to the beautiful woman. :ph34r:

Hi All Can anyone recommend any good TV shows or books about aviation? There's not much available in this country, but so far we've had Flying Wild Alaska, Bush Pilots and Worst Place to be a Pilot. All of which are very good TV series (maybe a bit too over-dramatic at times, but still entertaining for aviation lovers). The thing I like about these TV shows is that afterwards you can always jump in and fly the same routes (or crash) in the simulator with similar weather. Tony

Hi there, do you've any antivirus recommendation? I have been using Avast Free AntiVir, but I don't know if this one does his job as best as possible. I am looking for a good antivir, that cause no issues with FSX. I know, product like FSDT need an deactivation of antivir, but free AVG is difficult to handle, in my personal opinion. Are there any good (free) alternatives?

Evening all, Im a keen citation x user utilising the esdg model. Ive seen plenty of claims of flying from london to new york however ive never managed to make it from a fuel perspective. Fuel planner says i need more than the aircraft carries and upon trying i do runout. Im running 2 very light passengers and hardly any cargo from egnx. I use 2000ft step climbs but the only thing i can think of is im using cruise thrust and should mabe think of throttling back but i think this'll probably be in vein. not sure if its ever been done or whether anyone has any advise? Tom and Avsim Staff. I would be interested in bringing my new mobile simpit to the next Avsim Convention but it would be limited to driving it around the North East Corridor. Reason is, two things...one I live on Nantucket so a round trip ferry ride to get it on and off the island can be around $600 (havent done the trip yet in peak season) and second just gas and time cost. Today is the 6th anniversary of US Airways Flight 1549, which landed in the Hudson, saving all 155 passengers and the crew (5). I personally don't really care about anniversaries. But as an aviation enthusiast I always remember this accident ever since. I call it, like many people, a miracle in aviation history. Until January 15, 2009 I always thought it would not be possible to land an airliner on water, undamaged (kinda), and get all passengers out safely before sinking. And it even happened in winter. I recently had a scare, When FSX kept crashing, I was able to do a quick search and find my problem. Lucky for me it was a simple thing that was my fault.Sometime long ago I lost my original copy of acceleration,I still have my standard copy. So I began to search, for FSX Gold edition. The prices that came up were outrageous, like $235 on amazon. Anyways if anyone knows a legitimate place to buy a copy please let me know. P.S. I know about steam, but i prefer a hard copy.

About a year ago I toyed with the idea of making a documentary concerning the highly lacking Veterans care in the United States. For those of you foreign to this concept, its absolutely terrible here. And I mean awful. I live in an area filled with suicidal deer. I'm always on the lookout for them while driving, and luckily, i've managed never to hit one. I flatter myself that its due to always being alert, but seeing this accident and a few others like it, I realize that if a dear is feeling depressed and wants to end it all, I probably have no chance of avoiding an impact. :unsure: :( :blink: Deer are crazy!!! Has anyone else had problems accessing the airnav.org site? I have been trying to get into it for the last 3 days and all I get is a page that says what I posted below this. Just thought this would be a interesting topic since were into another year. Now my question is what would you most like to see come to the flight sim market that for you would step it up another level whether it being aircraft addons scenery peripherals such as yokes throttles etc. In my opinion i would really like to see more developers bringing quality products into the flight sim community as every year i wonder what new things will come out for us die hard flight sim members. Hi guys, I recently downloaded FS2Crew 777. Very impressive indeed. I learned how to "go" about with a video posted online by Froogle. All very good, no problem. Like the real thing. But one thing I don't understand. In the real world Airliners fly IFR, right? At least where available. Well on this video, it flies and lands without one word or communication from ATC?! Is this just to show how things work, in the real life, up there, without any permission to land and all the rest, or Airliners really fly like that? I always heard they fly IFR. Has anyone else noticed that the SIDs and STARs normally listed for each airport @ Airnav's website no longer exist? I brought up KPHL to do a flight this evening and much to my chagrin, no charts were present, just general airport information. I checked several other airports and noticed the same -- all the charts were gone. Does anyone know what's going on?

Hi all Random question but can you sell a PC with software on it to another person? The time has come sadly where I must say goodbye to my custom made gaming PC and the flight simulation hobby, and it's killing me how much I've spent on software addons etc to just wipe it all off and sell the PC as new. Hi, I really want to make a PMDG 777 music video. I already have the professional editing software that I need to edit the video. Now all I need to do is figure out HOW to MAKE the video. I recently downloaded FS Recorder. I was looking into the settings on FS Recorder and it is VERY confusing. I tried looking into the manual AND looking up videos on YouTube, but that didn't help either. Please help me out! Thanks, James8133

Hello, I noticed recently a Youtube by Frooglesim indicating that FSXGenius had been, it looks like, scamming people out of money offering to build them PCs and never fulfilling after receiving money. I cannot know whether this is true or not. Then, there was recently the A380 add-on for sale scam, which is documented here and elsewhere in the Flightsim Community. I have to disable my Norton Antivirus to successfully download and install anything with a Flight1 wrapper. I am told this is not a risk, but I recently discovered one of those wrappers is identified by Norton Power Eraser as containing a rootkit. It was the only file/executable out of literall…
