Even if you do not fly the PSX 744, it's worth the see and use with you FSX 744, and will certainly be of good use when PMDG's 744 v2 get's available ;-)

Hi all, I recently bought Glowing Heat's SR 71a Blackbird today. I was wanting to recreate a real enough flight plan for it. Does anyone have any suggestions for a realistic route? I'd be tempted to try it! Thanks! Departing Beale AFB by the way.... :o

I was brainstorming interesting flights last night and realized that the lowest aiport in North America (Furnace Creek L06) and the highest (Lake County KLXV) are within a reasonable distance of each other; I thought it would be fun to take a mid-altitude flight between the two in a nice GA plane. I began doing some flight planning and realized that this would be taking me right into some complicated airspace; I wasn't sure what the "real world" way of handling it would be. Coming out of L06 you are dealing with restricted airspace, MOAs, and the Las Vegas TCA. My first throught was to start off DCT HIDEN, which takes you south of the restricted areas and gives you…

Hi, Last year a lot of you flight simmers are aware I have a brain fade and put a question on the forum for which I paid dearly (and apologised for), but I'm hoping this question will make up for that stupid error in judgement. At approx 7:15pm Australian Eastern Daylight Saving Time on the WIN local news service it was announced that the first QANTAS Boeing 747-400 that flew non-stop from London to Sydney will be making its last flight ever flight when it takes off fom Sydney Internationl Airport and flies down the coast to its new home at the Albian Park Airport: Approx ten minutes flying time for the Boeing 747-400. As usual the Local council and other relevent …

I am trying to work out why the aircraft ended up where it did. After they jumped out the aircraft dove and nearly hit them. Was the pilot trying to show off??? I think someones got some explaining to do... The aircraft registration is HS-EFS and this is registered with Thai Sky Adventures Co Ltd

I have spent a fortune so far in this hobby but I'm loving every minute of it. Let's pretend I have only money for 1 more purchase. If you had to pick 1 of these fantastic Planes over the other which would it be. The SuperKing Air By Flight 1 using EMT tool to migrate it over to PD3 OR Wait for the PD3 release of the TurbineDuke V2 Already I'm leaning towards the SuperKing Air.

Favorite = most inspiring - beautiful in your eyes. Let's see, hmmmm.... Most favorite without any particular order: Simple but yuummy: Most uninspiring liveries for me: Looks almost like some cheap first aid: Pepsi air: Just to name a few. There are few more awesome liveries out there, but can't remember the airlines at the moment. Your choice?

Interesting article on the BBC News website. UK air traffic service is soon to trial a new way of spacing aircraft coming into land at London Heathrow, using time rather than distance as the control. It's believed it could reduce delays caused by wind factors. Link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-31109732

I should rephrase, FSX/P3D/XP will only be used as 'scenery generators' from now on. Systems, logic, weather, ATC, and all the other complicated affairs will be taken over by Aerowinx. Back to the cave reading the 600 page manual, whew

That is so obsess by simulation that no one is allow to have any fun with their flight simulator. They are not allow to skip real life procedure and they criticize every single little thing. I found interesting today as I posted a video YT with PMDG and newbie style in the title. I wanted to make sure the viewer understood this a video is to be consume for enjoyment and not as real life representation on how to operate an boeing 777. I often watch the great video of frooglesim and matt davies and the comments I read are from stupid nitpicking to borderline crazy at time. So I am asking, what is driving this obsession that every single player out there has to follow how yo…

If you're a fan of the Queen of the Skies, Captain Peter "Britjet" is creating a serious of videos produced with Aerowinx PSX ( the most advanced Boeing 747-400 series flight simulator ever made available ... ) with interesting tutorials. Peter is using Prepar3D for the visuals. Aerowinx PSX can provide enhanced World visuals using FSX, FSX-SE ( the one I am using ), P3D and even X-Plane and Google Earth. Here's the link to the Aerowinx page where it is listed under Training Videos by Peter "Britjet"

Many of those who operate/own VAs will be familiar with phpVMS. Today, it seems like the site has gone down and a domain expired message has appeared. A whois look-up shows the domain is good until 2016 and that there was a change made to it yesterday (1/31/2015). It would be a shame if the content of that forum was lost, a lot of community support for the VA system which many virtual airlines run. Wondering if anyone has any news as to where the project has gone or if this is a slight technical issue.
