For some reason always liked this movie. Also liked the tense countdown to self destruct that later was copied by so many other films.... We don't get much intellectual sci-fi like this very often anymore.

I found this quite a tough exam. You're provided with 2 charts of the UK and nearby Europe, the 1st chart (4th link) is a fairly normal looking synoptic charts, with isobars, fronts etc, but overlayed with "Station Circles", basically a method of showing up the weather that appears in a METAR. The 1st link shows you how the information on a station circle is laid out, and once you've learnt that, it's fairly easy to decode them. Outside of this exam - I've never seen a station circle in my life! The second chart (5th link) is the same airspace, but with station circles only. By examining the the pressure settings in the station circles, you draw in the isobars…

Walking with Dinosaurs 1999 was voted by its classmates: Most likely to succeed. 8.5 on IMDB The latest rewrite (2025) was voted: most likely to sack seed (fail): 5.5 rating IMDB. But it's early days and may improve. 2025 series shows fabled T-rex not displaying a toothy viciousness. Because scientists say lips necessary to protect tooth enamel from decay. Spoil sports!

The final episode of Season 4 Clarkson's Farm dropped today here in the USA. The end of the last episode, as always, is a meeting at the pub table right after harvest. Gerald was apparently bragging on a new trophy. I have no idea what it was for. I don't speak Cotswold

Don't scrape those 1000 quid Porche wheels. I'm suprised the authorities haven't compulsory purchased little patches of land for more passing points. He seems to be exaggerating but I suspect the camera perspective made it look less steep than it was.

We know excessive bodyfat, especially visceral fat, is very bad for us. And we know that one of the most debilitating effects of aging is muscular atrophy, sarcopenia. So if these new drugs that are currently in trials are successful, it could improve the lives of many. Significant reduction in fat and significant increase in muscle mass.... even without training. No conspiracy theories please, people. 😁💪

I'm sure there are many that will see this as sacrilege. I don't think the 928 is particularly inspiring though is it? Personally, I like the stuff these guys do. Up to date suspension, brakes and electric power teain. More performance than the car had originally.

He would pester his mom in the grocery store for a dime to buy this. Was the first Superman comic. Two hundred thousand were printed because they knew it looked like it would sell big time. It sold out in 3 days. Last year a copy in excellent condition sold for six million U.S. Dollars. https://www.cgccomics.com/news/article/12809/action-comics-superman-record-6million/

The lengths this man will go to to have something to talk about on the talk shows, not sure if anyone seen his 'Baby Sully' yet I won't post it because it is really disturbing, easily found on YouTube, but he did spend 2.5 years to get a pilot licence and 737 rating for this comedy stunt. He is reaching Andy Kaufman level of talk show troll
