I’m sure this will bring a smile to many of you. Some UK waypoint names are to be changed as they’re deemed offensive. Wouldn’t want that would we? 🤣 A free article in today’s British Telegraph… https://www.telegraph.co.uk/gift/151aee79fd888f14

Just randomly bumped into this. Seems it's Irwin Allen's second attempt at a Time Tunnel like movie. Apparently written by rod Stirling from the Twilight Zone. Not bad!

Not bad for a well known uninstaller 🙂 I have sticked with X-Plane 12, and MSFS 2024, as well as Condorsoaring now in v3, and these 3 flight simulators fulfill all of most of my wishes / wants for a desktop flightsim. I honestly can't say I prefer any of the 3. All of them complement each other. They're great for the type of use and addons I have for them, they cover all areas of flight that I like to simulate, airliners and GA in Xp12 and FS 2024, helicopters mostly in Xp12 and gliders in Condorsoaring 3. But yesterday HELISIMMER revealed Great News!!! A totally unexpected release of my beloved DODOSIM Bell 206, now the looooong awaited "v2", for FSX and P…

It is with great reluctance I’m posting this about a developer who has created the most accurate versions of Concorde over many years. But given the responses and their attitude I feel it’s only right I should draw your attention to their support service. I bought the P3Dv5 Concorde back in autumn 2023. In the next few months there were a few updates fixing some bugs. All well and good. But the last update was in November 2023 with nothing since. There’s nothing serious enough to prevent successful flights but some aspects relating to custom routes remain buggy. I asked some weeks ago in the Concorde forum why the software in the aircraft had selected …

A Mitsubishi A6M3 has returned to airworthy status, albeit with a P&W R-1830 engine, a DC-3 prop, the prop spinner is from a Lockheed Super Constellation, and there are only 200 original parts in this "restoration". Still, it is now flying! https://www.militaryaviationmuseum.org/the-zero-flies/

He sits stiffly, like a statue, and the ladies and gentlemen in the audience follow his lead. The aria being sung is Le Roi Danse (the King dances). Louis doesn't think the performer looks or acts like himself.

A film by Ken Burns. In 1903 Jackson set out to drive his automobile across America. An incredible feat to attempt when there were no auto mechanics, almost no gas stations, and no paved roads at all. It Costs $2 to buy this film on Amazon Prime. Episode 9. 107 minutes long. https://www.amazon.com/Ken-Burns-American-Lives/dp/B002P3OCR2

This touches on a wide variety of subjects, but of course it directly is related to our flighstim eco system, because Microsoft is a public. Biggest take away for me is: TikTok bad! Like really bad! And: Exponential growth bad. But we all knew that already, didn't we? 😉
