Letters to the Editorial Staff of AVSIM

Just curious - the review was perfect, no complaints at all from the reviewer, yet he gives it only a 4 out of 5 with no explaination for taking away the 5th star?Can someone comment on this?Ryan

I just read over the Avsim-hosted statement "RCS PANELS B-25 IS A PIRATED WORK - THE EVIDENCE", and I am alarmed that Avsim has allowed themselves to become involved in this dispute by hosting Mr. Strine's "Statement" in its entirety... which is much, much more than just a statement. It is clearly a presentation of a "case", intended to elevate MAAM's position in the matter. "Evidence" is intended for use in a court and Avsim is not a court. Hello Sir,Was wondering if Avsim thought there would be community interest in having a Real Aviation History Forum that we could contribute to. I am always looking for opportunities to bring ( in my case ) Alaska Aviation History to Avsim for the sharing of our roots of Aviation Enthusiasm. Being this is the Century of Flight Year of Celibration it might be fitting. I would like to express my thanks and appreciation to all at Avsim and especially the members of the Avsim Library for making it possible for me to reach so many pilots with my RTWest series of FS2K2 GPS plans. Were it not for the resources of Avsim my plans would be have limited to about ten downloads from within my VA. On loading the last RTWest plan, 60RTWest, KIND to KORD, a flight of 59 minutes to Avsim and checking the download total for the previous 59 RTWest plans I counted 45,025 downloads to date.I must also thank Geoff Law, John Resch, Steve Chapman and Bob Fontana for flight testing the plans and proofreading the documentation. Is there a possibility on the future to have an Orbiter Forum here?

I don't know if this is the correct form for this question, has anyone had any problems with getting your ordered product from the Avsim store. I ordered the Real Mesh scenery over ten days ago and paid for 2 day delivery and have yet to receive my order.I have called the Avsim store and left 3 messages none of which have been returned and have sent at least 10 emails wondering where my product is. Have yet to hear back from anyone.

I would like to suggest a couple of polls, that may seem, at first glance, redundant or elementary. But, for me (and maybe a good proportion of members, these polls would be great information, providing an overview of simmer's setup's.I also acknowledge, that some of your commercial pay-ware patrons may not endorse these polls, as they may see the poll as a detriment to their sales effort (and for AVSIM, a threat to advertising revenue) ? With Avsim putting in the new servers, it has really boosted the download times. (350Kb./Sec.+) That's why I choose Avsim over Flightsim :) Keep up the good work!

I have been reading with great interest the information now available as to the next version of MSFS.
