heyim a very frequent user of the screenshot forum, but i have some trouble loggin in, when i try to (with the correct password which i just retrieved) it says that my account is deactivated, what can i do??also when i try to create a new account it says it cant cuz of my email adrees(hotmail) is anonymous and thats why its impossible to creat a account.i really want my old account back, What can i do??any help is very welcomethanks in advancebob

HiI have some problems creating an account for the new forum. I created one at work, where I used _NOSPAM within my email address for obvious reasons. Naturally my password was sent to this address - stupid me. For any automatic mails that went to [email protected], could you send it to the correct address?When I try to re-register here, I get a message that I have chosen not to follow the rules. Lots of nice new things, but I miss those indented threads that were in the old forum. Now that everthing is stacked vertically on top of everything else, it's not easy to see who's replying to who. For example:First Poster Reply 1 to First Poster Reply 2 to First Poster Reply 1 to Reply 2 Reply 3 to First Poster Reply 1 to Reply 3 Reply 2 to Reply 3 Reply 1 to Reply 2 to Reply 3 Reply 1 to Reply 1 to Reply 2 to reply 3 etc...This way you could track conversation, and it is one of the things that made the avsim discussions so lively. I miss this. Is there a way to configure this back?Jason

I think you should have some more time with this aircraft. In Windows XP is constantly kills FS2k when in full mode if you shift views. It also jumps like a Mexican bean on the tarmac if you are coming from an aircraft with the parking brake set to this aircraft. I have deleted the aircraft and posted my concerns with the developer. Better luck next time.x(

I first would like to say that I like the setup of the new fourms. But here is my gripe(and that of some others too). It is/was clearly stated in the rules and regs of the Fourm, as well as by Tom in a few different posts on the old fourms. The matter of the user name must be your real name and/or a part of. IE Paul1 Paul65 flyingPaul. We either have some people who 1. can't read( or have selected reading) 2. Think they are above the law. 3. have really cruel parents. I was one who had a username on the old forum that did not have anyhting to do with my name. But I always signed full name in signature. I went and registered under the new rules and used my real …

Given the spate of downtime at some other sites that I visit I felt that a complement to the professionalisim of thr AVSIM staff was in order. It seems that much of the downtime on other sites occurs due to locating on low cost/free ISPs who have very poor records for system maintenance and software selection/adjustment. They also usually cram dozens of sites into one T1 to the Internet or a T1 that goes to another larger ISP where further cramming takes place. The software chosen and maintained by the site is often of a low quality and is reflected in reaction to loads or changes. The result is excessive outages that, while the site offers benefit and is free, eventually…
