The new P51D from ROTW is such a milestone aircraft that it deserves a small paragraph on the front page.. The graphics (panel and outside views) are truly "best of class" and it flies great too..The only "issue" is that it is freeware, whereas most comparable aircraft are now payware..

Please pass this onto whoever is responsible for the running of the entire forum engine.It's a bit naff how this forum lets the replying to any message move that message thread up to the top of the list, thus shoving other messages down, irespective of how new they are, rather than keeping messages in the order that the original posts are submitted.... If this were the case, messages would NOT disappear & slide off the page so quickly & thus give them a better chance of being read & replied to.If AVSIM were a quieter forum with not to many users, it wouldn't be a problem so much. Yes you sure can.When you register, AVSIM will generate one for you to login. Once you are logged in then you can go into your User menu and change your password to whatever you desire.Brent Hebert

I was curious if anyone knows what's with the Project Freeware website?? I keep getting the message that it no longer exists. Has anyone else gotten the same error message?? I've checked all the major sim sites for any news about this but nothing is mentioned. Thanks all! :)

I received an email from Ilan about getting keys for VS 6. I replayed to his email with the two computer numbers, but have not received the key. Our Jan. issue of Sailor Talk Magazine ( http://groups.msn.com/SouthCoastSailorTalk ) has gone up, but we are embarrassed about promising a review of VS 6 we cannot deliver on. I just completed AVSIM's demographic survey. I found it very interesting. However, you know that results can be misleading by the way questions are phrased, choice of answers, etc.For example, I found Q27 frustrating because I download from all of AVSIM's categories as needed. An appropriate choice that I believe should be there is - All of the above. Perhaps AVISM has a good reason for not adding this as a choice.Survey or not, I believe AVSIM is one of the leaders in the quality of service it provides, especially since you currently don't charge a membership fee. I have just scrolled through 3 pages of post in the FS2002 forum and only found 2 or 3 topics which could "possibly" be catagorized as "off topic." However, you must consider that the people that participate in the AVSIM forum have become sort of a family. I see no objection to someone who has contributed with the amount of postings like the one announcing the birth of his child. News of interest concerning one of our members are a welcome treat, unlike the gripes, complaints and personal attacks, always criticizing and never contributing something positive to the forums.My own personal opinion,Brent

Only that website now refers to you.I havne't managed to locate any Skysim content at Avsim otherthan an anouncement almost a year old.What gives?
