AAO does a great job displaying full 2d graphical instruments with their plug ins. Sometimes, however, smaller, easier to read text fields are more appropriate for some aircraft panels. MSFS HUD gauges are easy to read and don't interfere with the instrument panel, especially when one flies with only one monitor. So Is there a way for AAO to provide these type of guages? It would be nice if these guages could be placed in an in game panel and organized according to a pilot's needs. Some guages that would be nice to have are the ones that help the pilot set and change autopilot functions, such as ALT, VS, HDG, etc. The new MSFS ATR hard to read fonts are forcing …

  2. Despite the checkbox in the affirmative, aoa fails to start automatically. It did work, but when I began to experiment with webapi , at one point it stopped working. When I load it manually, everything appears to work normally. Don't know why the auto option no longer works. thank you.

  3. Hi all- I've installed AOS and have got my trim gage installed and working. I noticed when looking at assigning my yoke to the elevator, the yoke (YOKO) was not seen along with my rudder pedals (MFG). TQ6 quadrant was there though. Was wondering why these devices were not seen. Thanks, Mark

I've imported the AT-72 scripts for AAO from Flightsim.to, and the Heading scripts just don't seem to work in the sim. For example, the inc script is as follows: 1·(>B:AUTOPILOT_Heading_Set) Then there is a inc fast script, which is as follows: (L:MSATR_SEL_HDG,·Number)·9·+·dnor·(>L:MSATR_SEL_HDG,·Number)·10·(>B:AUTOPILOT_Heading_Set) Neither one appears to work in the sim. Any help would be appreciated. tc

I use Axis And Ohs (AAO) FMC Addon for PMDG 737 for MSFS. It's correctly working for PMDG 737-700 und -800. But for PMDG 737-600 and -900 only the FMC is displayd without any data. PMDG Data Broadcast is activated in all four 737_Options.ini files. SimConnect works for all four aircraft types. How can the problem be fixed for PMDG 737-600 and -900?

  7. I recently had a PC/Windows meltdown and had to reinstall windows 11 and MSFS. I reinstalled A&O and of course all the templates are gone. I still have access to the old drives. Where does / did A&O store the templates and scripts? and How can I recover them? Thanks, Kris

Greetings, In the "Change Web API address" settings window, the box to the left of the port address has a check. The box next to StreamDeck Plugin and Lorbysi-content-fippanel do not. Should they also have checks in their boxes? When I turn of and back on the checkbox to the left of the port address the two boxes for the StreamDeck Plugin and Lorbysi-content-fippanel will briefly become checked and then uncheck again. What is this behavior indicating? My Streamdeck is however working with aircraft. I also added lorbysi-atc-bridge to the community folder. Should I see it listed in the area with the other two entries, StreamDeck Plugin and Lorbysi-conten…

When I am programming the x touch mini with AAO, I run into one annoying aspect of this utility. Specifically, when I am using the "combo" option, the utility requires a very specific order of input entries in order to recognize a device's rotary click( the push button). For example, if I click any field other than the combo field first, when I go into the combo field, the utility will not recognize the "click" of a button. It will input either a left or right rotary event, but not a click( or push button). In order for the utility to recognize the "click", the entire entry window must be empty and the combo field must the first one to receive an input. This is not …

I’m mapping the Blackbird C310R EDM700 buttons using their LVARS. Three of the for buttons map correctly. The fourth L:C310_SW_EDMR_L ends up mapping in AAO as a BVAR. Any advice on where to look to troubleshoot the problem?

  12. AAO 3.00 b53 SD 6.1.0.18521 Lorby AAO Integration 18.01 Good day , thank you for the "numericprofiles" I downloaded from https://www.axisandohs.com/. I use from the "radio profile" to set the radio frequencies on the FlyByWire A320 and other aircraft ( default B747) and I have observed the following. With frequencies with the decimal fractions .015, .035, .055 , .065 , .085 it does not work. For example, 118.015 when set to Standby or Active results in 118.010. At 118.035, 118.030 is set and so on. If I enter the frequency directly via mouse clicks on the radio panel it works, so it's not the aircraft. I suspect that the dec2b16 function is not working proper…

  13. I'll explain with a simple example, this small template is assigned and it works perfectly in any plane in MSFS, using AAO. (I have 6 or 7 USB controllers plugged into the computer. They all are working fine in MSFS). If I click on Rubber Trim Left then this window opens. Notice the device is a Warthog Throttle. This works fine in every plane. What I call attention to is the device: the Warthog Throttle. This all works fine in any plane using this template in MSFS. Here's the problem: Now if I click on the + icon to add an assigned button, this screen comes up. Notice my choices for devices. None of my controllers are listed! The only cho…

Hello @ll, If you ever wanted to access the GSX menu on your phone or tablet, there is an AAO Web Page available as a free download on the axisandohs.com/downloads page. Please make sure to read the PDF that comes with it, there are some steps involved to get it installed properly.

  16. Hello @ll, the Lorby ATC Bridge is now available as a free download on the axisandohs.com website (section DOWNLOADS, way down on the page). With this MSFS addon you can transmit the ATC menu to the outside world and use it for example in a AxisAndOhs WebPage or a StreamDeck profile. Please take note of the readme file(s) and the PDF that comes with the Bridge. Important: the default ATC Window and the Lorby ATC Bridge cannot be used at the same time. When you want to use the default ATC menu in the sim, you can just disable the ATC Bridge panel in the menu bar. There is at least one StreamDeck profile already on flightsim.to that uses this, and on the Ax…

  17. I was aware that certain turboprops had problems with the condition levers. And I read somewhere that with one of the latest updates of MSFS, these problems had been solved. Unfortunately with the Analog King Air I bought lately, I can't get the condition levers to work with AAO. When I map them in MSFS with CONDITION LEVER 1 AXIS, they work. So I tried to find the event for them in AAO with "Watch Simulator Events". I got this one when I moved the Honeycomb Condition Lever: (K:AXIS_CONDITION_LEVER_1_SET) So I set up an Axis Assignment in AAO "With Select Event:" AXIS_CONDITION_LEVER_1_SET But the condition lever in the King Air doesn't …

  18. Hello, I am attaching pictures of my issue through my Reddit post (sorry for the quality). I just got a streamdeck pretty much exclusively for MSFS, besides for when I stream. I follow all installation instructions to a T, but when I’m watching others on YouTube install actual profiles, their WebAPI automatically goes to their selected port. Whether I do the default (9080) or custom (6080 and yes I updated it in AAO and the .js folders in the files), it doesn’t give me that option. It only shows enable WebAPIs and I’ve done it several times, restarted/reinstalled the app and restarted my computer several times. I have also done the custom firewall rules. I am re…

Oliver, I am having a problem importing scripts into AAO. This has happened before, and I fixed it but I don't remember how. The icon for the script file is defaulting to an Internet Explorer Edge icon and when I try to import the script, there is no response coming from AAO acknowledging an import. And it doesn't show up in the script editor. Only thing that I know has changed is an Edge update - other than that - I have not been aware of any other changes. AAO works fine with all existing scripts in the database. Using AAO 3.00 b53 Hope this is clear to you. The file shows as utf-8. Thanks! Bill Farmer

The documentation says you can use this to disable entire controllers in the simulator. It also states that this feature doesn't work while the simulator is running. However, it appears to always be disabled and grayed out from the menu. How can it be used? Is it actually implemented? If not, why is it in the docs? If so, why don't the docs explain how to use it?

  21. Apologies if this is the wrong forum, but I thought it a fairly logical place to start. I have a Streamdeck XL which had recently been working fine with aircraft profiles that I had previously installed prior to the installation of a Windows and MSFS image backup. Now, for some reason none of the aircraft profiles are working. A&O is working, ie, I can assign switches and axis and things, and Streamdeck works by assigning buttons to certain things in MS, but for the life of me I cannot get any of the pre-configured aircraft profiles to work for individual planes, that I download from Flightsim.to. I have tried always starting in admin, adding both to the list of allow…

I purchased the Black Square Analog Baron and had the mixture levers on my Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant bound to the L:BKSQ_MixtureLeverPosition_1, Number (and _2) LVARS with an Axis min of 0 and and an Axis max of 100. This was working well, I believe, until I installed the v3.0 upgrade. When it was working, the 0-100 values were evenly distributed across the full range of the mixture lever movment. Now, the 0-100 range is exhausted by just a small movement of the lever. Is anybody else experiencing problems with axis min/max scaling?

I am trying to work though this and I promise I am searching as much as I feasibly can to find answers. I know this isn't the "traditional" way, but I am also trying to learn through experimentation, so apologies if these questions are misguided. With the Kodiak 100 the BVar for the throttle is ENGINE_Throttle_1_Set. If I create a script and run such as 0.9 (>B:ENGINE_Throttle_1_Set) it will set the throttle to exactly 90%. I don't know how to translate this to an axis that passes values from 0 to 1.00 and all the percentages in between. If I scale the axis from 0 to 1 and use the script as the variable nothing happens. Also, on my Bravo Throttle I have …
