AAO version 3.00 has been released today. Although mostly under the hood, the changes in this version are significant. Major change: MSFS: with SU12 AAO can access LVars through SimConnect. If there is trouble with this new logic, you can switch the new logic off and go back to the legacy mode in the "Applicaion" menu. Major change: the MIDI library in AAO has been replaced, because the old one is no longer maintained. With the new version the channel number is finally correct (=same as in all other MIDI tools). Running latest AAO with MSFS with the Fenix a320 loaded. I am using the Thrustmaster throttle quad and the Thrustmaster airbus joystick. I can calibrate each using the Thrustmaster control panel app and each is seen in MSFS. However, when I tried to map a button from the joystick to the Fenix via AAO, AAO doesn't see the joystick or button push. Any reason why AAO cannot see the joystick while everything else can?

Is there a way to trigger a sound event with an AAO script? I have the event name and the animation code from the model interior xml file. Thanks! Hi Oliver, Using AAO, is there a way to export a list of sim variables, LVars, in my case, to a txt file? With a txt file, I can began formatting a series of scripts without having to copy the LVar list from the screen. If no way at this time, would you consider adding this as a feature? Hello. I was using AAO with XTouch Mini in MSFS, with planes like FlyByWire A320, WorkingTitle Cessna CJ4, and everything was going perfect. Until last week that I got a new PC and a tried to do the same, but now it doesn't work. Hi, I'm using AAO for various things in my setup, and it's a God-send. I couldn't find any contact for Lorby, so I don't really know how to make a suggestion, so I figured I'd throw one up here. For the Saitek/Logitech G Radio Panel: 1) Truncate the 1 of all frequencies on 8.33kHz-spacing. It's always a 1, so I'd rather see "23.455" than "123.45" while not rotating. 2) Hard? Fast rotation of the knob - at least the one scrolling through decimal places - speeds up the seeking. Going from .550 to .000 is a lot of turns. I think number 1 would be the easiest and biggest improvement for my part. Anything I'm overlooking with my suggestion?

Hello all, I need your support, because I'm very desperate. I've had the demoversion running and it was all fine! One time, my computer crashed during an update of MSFS... I've had to reinstall my computer and also MSFS. After the reinstall AAOs was not starting anymore. So I bought the official version and installed. But also the official version is not running. Hi, I have recently just updated to the newest version of AAO that includes the in game panel, and I'm just curious should I only need to click on that panel from the toolbar once and then going forward every time I open MSFS it should be activated? Or do I need to click on it each time I open a new instance of the sim? Right now I'm having to activate each time I open a new instance of the sim, but if it I shouldn't have to be I'm thinking maybe I missed a step in the manual... Thanks!

I have the H145 helicopter. The collective position is shown on the main screen with a value of 0-10. I also have a USB handbrake which is recognized by Windows and the sim. Mapping the collective axis to the handbrake axis in the sim works as expected. Full range of motion of the handbrake stick results in full range of collective motion in the sim (0-10). I can also use Axis and Ohs to do the same, and the "Move Joystick axis" shows the value from 0 to 65355 for the stick when moved. - If I enter the min/max of 0 and 65355, the helicopter collective jumps to 5 as soon as I move the stick and the range is 5-10 in sim - If I set the min/max to -65355…

Hi, I'm trying out your demo of Axis and Ohs with the Knobster Bridge software. Axis and Ohs Demo version 2.81 b05, Bridge Version 1.00 b07. I'm running the latest Beta version of MSFS, Version 1.31.20.0. I start both Axis programs as Adminstrator, then start MSFS, and connect. First, to test the software, I set up a button assignment using a keyboard key to invoke AP_HDG_Hold Toggle. I ran this in the sim, and it works just great, toggling Autopilot Heading Hold On and then off. AAO= 2.81b05 MSFS FENIX a320 Thrustmaster TCA_Q-ENG I have assigned the AXIS_SPOILER_SET function to the Z-axis. The axis also has virtual buttons. Button 26 is at the upper stop. In CONTROL OPTIONS KEYBOARD the ctrl + 2 is for TOGGLE INSTRUMENT VIEW 2. I would like to have this at an assigned button in AAO. Which event should I use to get that function at my botton? I can't find any event in AAOs Select Simulator Event list to do this.

For the past month or so I have noticed controls mapped with AAO not working after flight restart. Typical is axis. AAO is connected and the axis moves in the AAO windows but not in the plane. Nothing fixes except exit sim and restart. Exit AAO is not enough when stuck. This is restart to runway and I have a habit of placing the controls in the default state (parking brake, throttle, etc) while sim is restarting. No sense zooming down the runway before I am ready. So I have a hunch that AAO is sending sim events for my movements while flight is reloading and the communication is getting error and not recovered. Probably on the sim side or the connector in communit…

It would help me a lot if the variables in the simvar watch window were saved when AAO is closed and the list were restored the next time AAO is opened. A checkbox or option could control this behavior.

Hi, I use keyboard keybinds in AAO to change views in MSFS via my StreamDeck. But often those keybinds don't work, or stop working after some time. They just become unresponsive. I have about 9 different keybinds for views saved, and it seems completely random. It's not the same views that get unresponsive every time, but each time it is a different keyboard bind not working. I can bring them to work again when restarting AAO. Note: I always start AAO as an administrator. All other inputs via AAO and Streamdeck (Fenix A320 controls) work totally fine.

The assignment of the axis worked fine - only when setting up the keys I have a problem: In Chaseplane, for example, I assigned the keyboard key 'Num0' for the 'next view' event. I'm trying to create Streamdeck button or script for the various ground handling options like opening the main door and connecting the GPU. And even though I can see the LVAR (L:HJET_EXIT_OPEN) in AAO, I just can't seem to figure out how to actually use it. I've been trying in various ways. Like just having an event like L:HJET_EXIT_OPEN with the value 1. But also tried creating a script like (L:HJET_EXIT_OPEN,·Number)1(>L:HJET_EXIT_OPEN,·Number). Or stuff like: 1 (L:HJET_EXIT_OPEN, Number) - (>L:HJET_EXIT_OPEN, Number). Tried Bool as well but nothing works.

Hi, just bought AAO so i don't have to change profiles inside MSFS for every time i change a plane. Works fine with most everything so far. And i'm trying to get the throttle to work in the PMDG DC-6 I have used THROTTLE1 AXIS_SET_EXT1 as was reported to work from users. It does move throttle1, but only from zero to full in one step. like a boolean, and only zero to full, not full to zero. Using Saitek (now logitech) Quadrants. Any settings i need to know about to make it work proper?
