I have very recently acquired a Behringer X Touch Mini with the sole intent of managing the Garmin G1000Nxi in MSFS. I have the Axis and Ohs App and am finding that to be a first class tool easy and quite intuitive to use, for the simpler tasks at least. I still have a way to go to finish the job, however, I don't seem to be able to locate, in any of the events registers that I have looked at, an Event for managing the Heading Bug or to set the Altitude. I have looked primarily in the Autopilot and G1000 Events Registers but have also scanned what I thought might be other likely candidates. So a few of us have been asking about simvars and if the new Fenix 320 will be mappable to our hardware. So far these questions have been disconcertingly ignored on the discord, so was wondering here if anyone had any educated assumptions about the inner workings of aircraft and variables in MSFS… Is it possible to have such an environment where mapping can’t be done? The Fenix leverages ProSim some how but I’m not sure how they combine the two into a desktop sim…has any other addon used ProSim before in Xplane or P3D?

I bought this program as it seems to have some helpful functionality (and because it was annoying having to restart it every 20 minutes while I test fly), but unfortunately there are some game breaking issues I am facing. I use the T.Flight Hotas on MSFS. All axes on MSFS are turned off, except rudder. With the PMDG 737, I can't flare the airplane on landing because elevator inputs quit responding at ~20ft AGL. When I try to hold brakes using the paddle axes (I have it set to the right side being a brake axis) it will quit holding brakes after a second, or it will stay permanently applied (the axis are displaying in the program correctly but MSFS is not beh…

I am using AAO since I changed to MSFS last year (now V.281 b05). At the moment I use a Saitek Yoke, Honeycomb Throttles and CH rudder pedals together with an Elgato Streamdeck XL (without plugins, just with some programmed keys for the 737 MCP via AAO). In MSFS I have erased most control inputs except some keys for views. The problem ist that from time to time the yoke in the MSFS plane won't move. I then quit MSFS and start it again together with AAO. That's not very comfortable because of the long loading time of MSFS... Yesterday when flying the PMDG 737 this did not help at all. I have recently upgraded my PC to a Windows 11 machine. I use AAO to interface an X-Touch Mini. With nothing in the community folder other than Lorby hooks I get an MSFS CTD a few minutes after starting AAO. I have tried starting AAO before and after MSFS, no difference. No other FS related programmes are running. If AAO is not running everything is fine. Please can anybody suggest a possible cause, or what I can do to narrow down the cause? Thanks, Glyn

So I just downloaded an excellent PMDG 737-800 stream deck profile last night. used it and I will say it was amazing. Everything worked perfectly. I loved the HSI indicator and all button positions reflected what they were in MSFS. Fired it up this morning, and only some of the button images were on there. Others were black, but they did work. Also the button positions seems out of sync: Light buttons on SD were in the on position but in MSFS they were in the off positions, but the buttons on SD still worked in that the affected the position in MSFS. I reset the port on both AAO and SD. There is definitely some talking going on between all three (SD, AAO, MSFS…

I'm finally getting the hang of Axis and Oh's, using it with an XTouch Mini. Thankful that there are many events already available to pick from to assign to the buttons, especially for the PMDG 737. I've now been building an aircraft automated script to set LEDs. That has been working well. I just wanted to check if I'm searching the right way to find an LVar (or other type var) as I find how to detect if the baro is in STD mode. I couldn't find one in the "PMDG737MSFS" category. My XTouch Mini along with Axis and Oh’s was working great until today. It stopping working, in that when I used any dials or buttons, Axis and Oh’s no longer was sensing input. Then I remembered I had installed the free version of FSUIPC last night, without testing until today. I had installed it for LukeAirTool. Figuring that could be interfering, I uninstalled FSUIPC, restarted MSFS, and then all was back to normal for my XTouch. Is this a known issue?

I'm looking for a script that will allow me to perform the oxygen test and reset and also a script to perform the Lights Test. If somebody can assist it would be greatly appreciated. I want to link these to buttons on a Streamdeck XL. Cheers Russell

Hello all I would like to control the FCU of the Fenix A320 with buttons and rotary encoders. With the FBW A320 this works quite well with Mobiflight. Now I want to control the Fenix via Axis and ohs. With the Elgato Stream deck this works already. I have connected my Arduino board (actually Elegoo Mega 2560 R3) with Axis and ohs via "Arduino to AxisAndOhs Bridge 1.01 b02". The board is connected and in the observation tool RPN scripting you can also see that the commands arrive. In the screenshot you can see in yellow the commands coming from the stream deck. Okay. Where to start... I have the Stream Deck XL and Stream Deck Plus. I am running MSFS 2020. I am using the PMGD 737-800. I'm fairly new to AAO, but have been experimenting with the Vision Jet on MSFS 2020. I found a listing for map range zoom options on the display on a website stating the the HTML simulator events work for that. I discovered that the "AS3000_TSC_Horizontal_BottomKnob_Small_Dec: 1 (>H:)" and "Inc" worked for this function, including testing it with "test with 0" and "test with 1." However, the following day (nothing changed on my end with the simulator or AAO), those events stopped responding (I first discovered as I had a streamdeck button assigned to them). I have most of the controls for the SWS Kodiak on the Streamdeck thanks to Lorby's AAOs and Guenseli. But I am having trouble getting the two shoulder harness inertia reel locks onto one button. I can get them working individually, but I want them on one button. The SWS documentation gives me this: Harness levers (overhead) (L:Lever_Harness_x, Bool) xE[1,2] 0 unlocked 1 locked This works for the left one: Lever_Harness_1, Bool I tried this: (Lever_Harness_1, Bool)&(Lever_Harness_2, Bool) It does not work but that is the idea. Can you provide me with the correct syntax?

I've recently set up the CDU's for the PMDG 737-800 using the WebAPI. It's worked perfectly through my local browser. However when I try using my iPad I'm having disconnect issues. The iPad will function correctly for about 5-10 minutes. Then the next few key presses are heavily delayed before it finally stops responding all together. The only way to get the iPad to connect again is to restart the iPad. Then it might work for another 5 minutes before disconnecting again and I get "server stopped responding." My iPad and local machine are on the same router. I've tried both Safari and Firefox on the iPad. The local machine works for the entire flight, so I'm guessing that …

Can anyone help with the assignment of toe brakes. I am using Saitekk Pro Flight Rudder Pedals and have them showing up in the Axis and Ohs, Axis assignment window but nothing appears to happen with the aircraft toe brakes on the Asobo Cessna 172 Skyhawk . I have used he Brake left and Brake right axis assignments and tried the Brake left EX1 and Brake right EX1 to no avail. All other assignments (Aileron, Elevator and Rudder seem to be working fine, what am I doing wrong. Thanks in advance for any help with this.

I see A&O working but not doing anything in the sim. If you look at the app you can see the assigned axis working but when you run the MSFS sim they don’t work. Looks like some knid of sim connect issue I think since SU11. Seems like a lot of 3rd party stuff has been broken since that update. I am using W11 and logiteck throttle nothing special but although the assignment works it doesn’t work in sim - if I assign the axis in the sim (ie not in A&O) all works as you would expect, so something is not happening. I am using latest release available from Simmarket.

I know I have read somewhere that it is possible to add an .xml file to MSFS to autostart utilities along with MSFS, I think. Is that in fact possible? My old brain forgets half the time to start LAAO before MSFS and then I go to use my X-Touch and it doesn't work. Then I have to start all over. It would be nice to automate the process.

Hello. After the latest FSUIPC update, my throttles on the PMDG 737 aren't working correctly and I cannot figure it out. I'm looking to get into Axis and Ohs. I have the Honeycomb Alpha, Bravo and the VRI MCP Boeing II. I would like to move over from FSUPIC and LINDA and have just AAO. My question: I would like to assign things like "Set Park Brake" or Turn on and OFF the beacon for various aircraft. (FENIX A30, PMDG 737, ini A310 for now). How hard is this to do? Does it require scripting to have the knobs on the VRInsight panel working on each aircraft? Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hi, I'm trying to synchronize a vJoy axis with the elevator trim in the sim, but I couldn't figure out how to pass the value in the vjax command. I have a script called GET_TRIM which returns the current trim setting from the sim normalized between 0 and 32767 so I can pass into vjax. I know what the command is for the autothrottle to be set to a button on a controller. LVAR ONLY… L:HJET_THROTTLE_MAN … 0 = FMS , 1 = MAN I just cannot figure out how to insert the command when setting it up. The AAO manual does not help my aged mind. Help please about setting up new LVAR commands.

I have a push pull switch that I would like to assign the parking brake too. I used the toggle parking brake assignment up and down, and it works but it seems to never be in the right position unless I go into the cockpit and set it accordingly there and then I can use the hardware switch. I would like to try using the set parking brake assignment and have parameters for on and off if this is possible in Axis and Ohs. I have searched the manual and can't seem to find anything, or I don't understand what I am reading. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Bill

want to switch all my configuration to AAO. The only plane that gives me problems is the TBM with its particularity in terms of the throttle/propeller configuration. Have you managed to make a configuration that works with LORBY AAO?

While I was assigning many new buttons to a new aircraft, I had to temporarily go to another aircraft for which I had already created Axis and Oh's assignments for reference. Unfortunately, when I returned to my original aircraft, all new assignments were lost. A pop up warning before changing aircrafts, reminding the user that all new assignments will be lost if database is not updated would be helpful. As one may know, assigning buttons to a new complex aircraft is very time consuming, requiring a lot of trial and error before the assignment is considered valid. The pop up warning would be greatly appreciated. tc
