Anyone figure out the new throttles for this updated SWS Kodiak in AAO? Would appreciate some help in the form of "Axis and Ohs for Dummies."

So long time user of FSUIPC. When I recently moved to MSFS I bought AAO to run my controls through it. I have a TM HOTAS Warthog joystick and throttle. The trouble I am having is the elevator and aileron axis’s are so sensitive that I cannot control the plane with the joystick. All other assignments and axis’s work fine. I have the joystick set to a blank profile in MSFS. I’ve tried two different aircraft and get same results. Control of these two axis’s are just way too twitchy. I use the elevator and aileron axis in the top axis dialogue box in AAO. When I run this joystick through MSFS, I have zero issues with the elevator and ailerons and able to control the plane…

Everytime I open AAO I'm getting a message that reads "Error when loading the configuration database:There is an error in XML document (0, 0). If you continue, all previous data will be lost". So now its not running any scripts and I can't import anything. I get a further message saying "import failed. Configuration system failed to initialize". Anybody got any ideas as Im compleyely stumped. I've tried uninstalling it and re-installing but with no joy.

Hi, I updated AOA to 2.60 b20 and MSFS 1.27.21.0 (SU10). I'm using AOA with PMDG DC6 and Fenix A320, but suddenly AOA stopped responding to keyboard events when MSFS is in focus. It worked with previous version (I'm used arrow keys to change autopilot heading in Fenix A320 with AOA script)... But, after the updates AOA is not able to catch the events when MSFS in in focus. I tried to focus on another app eg. Firefox, Notepad... AOA catches the events with no problems and I can see the changes in MSFS. The problem is, as soon as I switch focus to MSFS no events are caught by AOA and I see no changes in MSFS. I tried reinstalling AOA I see there is…

Hello! I have an VRinsight Boeing style Combo 2. Is it possible to asign its buttons and dials to MSFS2020 via Axis and Ohs? I would like to use downloaded scripts from flightsim.to for the PMDG DC-6 for example and in the future for the NGX and so on, when they are released. Thank you!

Sometimes the axis and ohs is interrupting the functionalities of the autopilot, for example, the FD stop following the magenta line. When it happens, I need to disconnect the axis and ohs and then connect it again. Other issue is happening with the command decrease throttle. This command is located in the MSFS, but when the software axis and ohs is connected to the sim, the decrease throttle command doesn’t work, it works only with the program disconnected. Some help would really be appreciated!

I use a Honeycomb alpha and bravo in MSFS 2020. I noticed that my Lorby software wasn't working, if I had the software pulled up, it would acknowledge when I was pressing a button or turning a knob on the bravo, but it wouldn't send that information to the simulator. Finally, I discovered that it was due to my peripherals being connected to my PC via a powered USB hub (link to item below). Once plugging the peripherals directly into the PC, everything works fine. I need the peripherals connected via USB hub due to how my desk setup is. Has anyone ran into this before and are familiar with a solution or workaround? TIA! I've just taken delivery of a VRI FCU Combo II and I'm looking at how to interface it to the Fenix A320 in MSFS. I've tried FSUIPC and LINDA and am currently struggling to get anything other than the LCD screens working - no buttons work - so I'm looking at Axis and Ohs as an alternative while I chat with the LINDA developer. I can see the buttons and rotaries being read in the demo using the VRIBridge, so I know the unit is working. I also saw a profile on flightsim.to that purported to be for the FBW320, but that people said in the comments worked with the Fenix as well - though that was a few months ago. I have successfully managed to bind most of the Garmin G1000 auto pilot functions to my X-Touch Mini rotarys and buttons. They work for the Cessna 172 G1000 NXi, Bonanza and TBM but the BAe-146 seems to be a whole new ball game. I want one xtouch rotary know to control Nav frequencies with the combo methode I have found in FS2020 forum. One rotary encoder 4 assignments all as combo = toogle. Turn left = NAV1_RAdio_FRACT_DEC_CARRY = decrease (if knob is not pressed and turned left) Turn left = NAV1_RADIO_WHOLE_DEC = decrase ONLY if rotary knob is pressed and turned left) and so on. That doesnt work: if I turn the knob left both assigments get active always, pressed or unpressed are ignored. Being a huge fan of everything I can I do in AAO, I have finally gotten my Honeycomb Bravo working much better with the Kodiak / Floatiak after the latest update from SWS version 1.3.5. The idea was to have Forward Thrust from the idle detent 0% to 100%, and BETA and REVERSE in the correct reverse direction 0% to -25%. Because there is no axis on the Bravo in reverse I had to simulate it with buttons as best I could. This is what I did: 1. Create Axis Assignment "THROTTLE1_SET" and assign to the first throttle axis on the Bravo. (You can use whatever axis you like but note the button numbers below will be different.) 2. Hello @ll, version 2.60 has been released today. SimMarket already deployed it, and you can download the new version from your account there. We are still waiting for a reply from JustFlight. The biggest change in the 2.60 is, that templates can be linked to your current aircraft too, instead of "applied". "Linking" a template will not copy all buttons, axis etc. into the current configuration, it just references them. So a change in the template will directly affect all aircraft that have a link to it. This should make sharing (and especially updating!) templates much easier. Hello @ll, when you are using the "Add Axis" dialog, and if you want to type a simulator variable name into the "Enter Variable" field, make sure to move a controller first, so "Device" doesn't show the "-". Otherwise the app will close with an unhandled Exception. Will be fixed in the next version.

I am trying to add some mobiflight commands in axis and ohs button input. For example, when I use hubhop and copy a command like 1 (>L:MCP_Mode_IAS), what do I need to remove in order for axis and ohs to use it properly. I cannot simply copy and paste. thank you.

I've managed to configure the autopilot rotaries on the Bravo by using combos in AAO. E.g. when ALT is selected on the left rotary, turning the right rotary clockwise triggers a script which increases the selected altitude. I've run into what is either a bug or configuration issue. After loading into the aircraft in the sim, if I have ALT selected and turn the right rotary it will adjust the altitude but it also adjusts the heading, speed, etc. I've double checked the other configurations to make sure they're using a their respective combo button for the left rotary, thinking I'd assigned them all to ALT accidentally, but they all look correct. I'm running version 2.51 b11 Since the latest SU 10 I've had the followinf issues. 1. I can't read LVARS until I have a plane loaded and in a flight. It used to read these as soon as the sim was connected. Does it still gather all LVARS? or just ones for that plane? 2. It no longer 'sees' many events when I ask it to watch events. e.g. landing lights, taxi lights. Others still work e.g. master battery and fuel pump. I'm putting tutorial videos on YouTube and these differences are frustrating as I'm showing how to find out which events are being triggered.

I'm a bit confused. If I want to create a real life gauge with a stepper motor or servo, would AAO be the right program for it, or would I use another program for that? I can't find anything about Arduino in the manual, is it possible to hook up an Arduino directly to AAO, and which Arduinos would be supported? Any other card type? I've got two Arduino Uno, and also got a card with an ATMega128A. Would love to be able to experiment with what I have. I downloaded the file https://axisandohs.weebly.com/uploads/6/0/8/2/60827113/pmdg737fmc.zip and unzipped it into Dokumente\LorbyAxisAndOhs Files\WebPages The readme.txt now says "Configure the following script as "Aircraft Automated Script": (you only have to do this once) "PMDG-PMDG_737MSFS_CDU" for the 737 in MSFS" I am afraid I have no idea what that means. I seachted the PDF manual for 'configure' and did not find anything meaningful. Is there a step by step tutorial on how to do this ?

Hi All, I cannot edit/change de "Roll” value in a created event in the AxisAndOhs program. The only way to change it is to create a template, edit the Roll value in the template and import this template again. There should be an easier way I suppose. Does anyone knows a solution ? Ronald

I can't seem to get the webapi to work in the b787. See the screenshot. It shows some of the fmc but isn't loading any data from the sim. AAO is in admin mode. Have the 787 folder in community folder etc. Have followed the readme with no luck.

The BAE 146 autopilot has GLS and V/L buttons, but I have not been able to find event codes other than the ones provided by Mobil flight. I am currently using A&O Demo to check out the various features, and I don't see any reference to these two events. How does A&O access these two events? thanks .
