I recently upgraded to a new gammingPC running Win11. NO additional AV only defender. When I run aao it sticks on waiting for SimConnect. When I try and look at any of the menu's (trying to check the connection menu for example) I get "program not responding" and the usual blue circle from windows. However without the sim running it works fine. I guess there is a simconnect issue but other apps that use sim connect (such as sky dolly) have no problem communicating to the sim. I have tried using an older version of aao, and even tried replacing the simconnect.dll with the one from the MS2020 SK. No joy there either. The only info I found in the event log, doest…

What is the best course of action to update an existing ver of AAO to the latest, without losing any generated files, Cheers Jock

Hello, I have the licensed version of Axis and Ohs and am trying to make it work with X Touch Mini. I am unable to assign any of the buttons or rotary dials in Axis and Ohs when setting up new buttons. Under Hardware, Show midi devices, I do see the X Touch mini listed (see image attached). But when I try to assign a new button, I cannot assign any events to the mini. I also do not see it listed under the listed devices (see image attached). Sorry, I do not see any way to attach images. I have a jpg, not a url.

I’ve just ordered a StreamDeck but the 5x3 regular sized one. I have next to no knowledge about programming them but I was looking on Flightsim.to today and noticed there are a few XL profiles (32 button?) about and was wondering if it’s easy to either “downscale” the larger profile or pick and choose the events I want from the larger XL profile and plug them into the smaller SD device?

Recently I have been having a problem with A&Os where it crashes and closes. With the "Select Simulator Event" window or the "Select Simulator Variable" window open, when I left-click to select and right-click to copy, Axis and Ohs crashes and closes. It turns out that this happens because I recently installed Touch Portal (which I love). As long as Touch Portal is running (I have it set to start with windows), A&Os will crash with this copy-paste operation. If I close Touch Portal, the problem is gone. Not a major inconvenience, just a nuisance really. Has anybody else had this problem? Does anyone know how it could be fixed? Any sugge…

Is it possible to assign an individual thrust reverser axis? For example, the PMDG 737 (MSFS 2020) has 2 throttle axes (OK) and 2 reverser axes? There is a thrust reverser toggle, but I have been unable to assign any axis. Thanks-- Robert

Hi! Is there a way to combine the output of two axis into a single “virtual” axis using AAO? Im trying to use a set of racing pedals as rudders, but the accelerator and the clutch on the pedals have their own axis, and since you cannot set “rudder left axis” and “rudder right axis”, but only a single rudder axis, I want to combine them into a single virtual axis. So, if I press the clutch full down the virtual axis would be 0%, when pressing the accelerator down if will be 100%, and when not pressing any pedals (or both full down) it will be 50%. I use another piece of software that can do this, but would like to use AAO if possible so I don’t have to fire…

Hello @ll, with the latest update of the PMDG 737 for MSFS (version 3.0.24) the data structure of the PMDG SDK interface has changed. As a consequence, the "(PMDG:" variables in AAO are no longer working properly. We can't really blame PMDG for this, their SDK has never been officially released. It was pure coincidence that the "old" data structure of the NG3 was working here. They can of course change it in every way they see fit, until they release an official specification. The first few variables are still showing their proper values, so I will try to find out if the cause is just a misalignment of the variables in the structure. But without any docume…

I tried in a xml gauge for my Cessna 152 Xtouch Mini project at https://flightsim.to/file/32189/cessna-152-template-and-gauge-for-behringer-xtouch-mini-and-axis-and-ohs-aao to display the content of a string, but did not succeed. Is there a way or a specific format to do that? I tried formatting with <Value>%(L:ACTION, String)%!30s!</Value> and <Value>%(L:ACTION, String)%!s!</Value> but could not get it to work.

The editor crashes while loading profiles. I tried running as Admin, same result. Any suggestions?

Elgato says it's just fine to have multiple stream decks connected to a single PC. I have one XL working great, if I were to buy another XL would Axis and Ohs work with both? I plan to use the same profile on each deck, just with different "pages" of the profile open on each deck.

Hello everyone. I can't find the solution. I cannot read the contents of the simvar like " PMDG:....... ". I try to read them from the "Watch simulator variables" but the value is always zero. Does anyone know how to do it and if possible do it? Thanks!

Hello. I am working on getting my Stream Deck and XTouch Mini working with MS Flight Simulator. I have Axis and Ohs working with my stick and throttle and the XTouch midi controller. But the Stream Deck profiles (Guenseli profiles) are not being recognized by Flight Simulator. Flight Tracker buttons are working; it is only AAO buttons that are not working. Here is what I have done: Firewall allow port 9080 Inbound Rule created Lorbys Stream Deck plugin installed Guenseli Stream Deck profiles installed XML Scripts imported to AAOS Can you think of anything I am missing or may have done wrong? Hello! Does anyone know if its possible to use a script similar to a rotary knob where the controller (in this case a Flight Velocity trim wheel) increases or decreases the axis value instead of mapping 1:1 with the axis of the physical controller? What I am trying to prevent is the "jumping" of the elevator trim access when you disable autopilot, where my physical trim wheel position does not match the position in the sim. I would like the controller to work independently, only incrementing/deincrementing the axis. I tried doing this, but I dont think thats how the "trigger direction" is meant to work because it does nothing in sim, nothing is triggered…

Hey, I am struggling to setup the Fenix in AAO for my Bravo throttles. I see an old thread here, but that template stopped working . I need individual throttles working, and gates to lift them into reverse. Please help 😕😆

Bonsoir, I have been in triple screens and Nvidia surround mode under W10 64 pro for a few days. After various searches on the web, I tried all the options offered but without any success, the AAO window does not want to open on the desktop. This problem is caused by W10 and nvidia surround, but it is a calamity when this problem occurs. I uninstalled AAO then I reinstalled it once the surround launched in my cockpit where I have my 4 screens 3 in surround and a 14' below. This was effective because AAo opened correctly again. I fired up FS20 and was able to get a flight. then I closed FS20 and AAO Then turn off my 4 screens to return to desktop …

Some planes have cabin lights. Some planes have panel lights instead. I want the Saitek switch panel to work with either type of plane, without having to assign 100 different planes, one by one (i.e. apply the setting globally). I want the Saitek switch panel Panel button to assign both CABIN_LIGHTS_ON and PANEL_LIGHTS_ON when I throw the Saitek Panel rocker upwards. I can assign either cabin or panel lights, but don't see how to assign both. (I often assign two functions to the same Assigned Button on the AAO main screen. I find it a bit frustrating that whenever the AAO Add Button Assignment window is open my mouse and keyboard operation becomes slow and erratic making it a bit difficult to make assignments. This does not happen when any of the other AAO windows are open. Is this normal?

I have a Stream Deck XL en-route and have been trying to set myself up for success when it arrives but, a general question I can't seem to find the answer to is how do you install the Lorby Axis and Ohs Elgato Stream Deck Plug In? I've downloaded and unzipped the plug in package to a folder on my hard drive but it only contains the .pdf read me that I followed, activating “Enable Web API on port 9080” in the “Tools”. The only other file included was a .streamDeckPlugin file: com.lorbysi.aao.streamDeckPlugin I envisioned having to run an .exe or import the streamDeckPlugin file into Axis and Ohs to 'Install It'... What am I missing?
